Ruthless Aggression Era
Inspired by the "After Hogan" thread, I'm interested in looking at the period after the Attitude Era and before John Cena became the guy.
I think this era is probably under-appreciated. It definitely wasn't perfect or as good as the Attitude Era, but there was a lot of great stuff in this period. I think it was far better than most of time that has followed it.
This era gave us the Smackdown Six, Brock's rise to the top, Evolution and Triple H's Reign of Doom. Guerrero and Benoit's title reigns, the rise of John Cena and Batista. Also Vince making out with every woman on the roster, the Diva's Search, and Al Wilson.
What were the highs and lows? How has your opinion changed in retrospect?
