    The Last Man on Earth

Anyone watching this? I think it's great. Will Forte is brilliant.

I didn't expect to like this but I actually really like it. I look forward to it on Sundays. I'm not sure about the latest plot development though.

I love it. Pretty original idea.

I agree with you Pipkin. I really wish they had done a few episodes by himself. They really could have fleshed out some of those things into full blown episodes, rather than 2-3 second clips.

Shouldn't the title be Last Men on Earth now?

Even though I like it, to me, it's being written like a show they know is going to be cancelled early, so they're trying to do all the major plot developments to try to keep people interested, to not get cancelled. So rather than slow developments, they're coming pretty quickly. Hence the rapid fire introduction of new characters.

I've been watching and loving this. It was debuting while I was in the hospital and I've watched it every week since.

    Kristen Shall is amazing.

Very funny show. I agree with wanting more of Forte being alone. I've been a big fan of his for years, and I'm glad he's getting a platform to showcase.

Blitzing the season tonight. So good. Kristen Schaal is cracking me up so much. Just so annoying on so many levels.

I had little hope for it but it's pretty damned entertaining.

I got to episode 11 in the end. Schtick wore thin after a while but it started to pick up a bit more towards the end.

Love this show. Hard not to just get sucked into the next episode with cliff hangers almost every episode.

In the UK, the channel Dave went from showing Season 1 and 2 the same week they aired in the US, to not showing Season 3 at all. Hopefully the boxset goes up online at some point.

I just read they haven't picked up season 4 though. Haven't cancelled yet either. Just sitting on limbo. I hate when shows don't get a proper series conclusion.

They showed season three on Dave. That's where I saw it.

Are you sure that wasn't the second half of season two?

I use that Geektown website to find when my favourite shows are coming back and that still has no date for Season 3 on Dave:

Without spoiling, did it get a proper ending or was it just kinda a random stop due to an unexpected cancellation?

Finished all 4 seasons. What a wonderful show. It's one of the best recent comedies, right up there with Brooklyn Nine Nine. The serial narrative and often changing setting, with all of the guest actors who did mini-arcs, had me always wanting to start the next episode immediately. Will Forte is the man and this was a perfect vehicle for his brand of comedy.

Shame it got cancelled. I'd compare it to Happy Endings in being a great overlooked comedy that got cancelled too early, except Last Man is even harder to swallow because of the story that was continuing to unfold. Oh well, still a supremely enjoyable 67 episodes.

Man that show is interesting too. I've never seen it but just the fact that Tim Allen has this second super successful sitcom that no one talks about is pretty funny. 8 seasons, 173 episodes already with one more to come. And I swear I never hear a soul talk about it. At some point recently I found out how long it's been on the air for and I was shocked.

And it's one of the most watched shows on tv. Shit, I remember being shocked how long Big Bang Theory had been around. I just don't watch a lot of tv, most tv shows I watch I see 4-5 years after they air thanks to Netflix lol.
