I think this is the show that was on USA before RAW. Is it just another CSI type show?

My gf watches the NCIS with Gibbs and the goth chick, we haven't dabbled into the New Orleans one with my main man Scott Bakula.

I've enjoyed NCIS since day one, including the 2 epsisodes of JAG that it originated from. NCIS NEW ORLEANS is great! NCIS LOS ANGELES, I watch it when it's on USA, but I don't go out of my way to watch it. It's enjoyable though.

I have all the seasons so far on DVD and all the different soundtracks that have come out. I wish they would release a special DVD with just the 2 episodes of JAG to make it complete.

If you both enjoy NCIS, you'll enjoy NCIS NEW ORLEANS. Plus, there's been a few crossovers from NCIS so far. Give it a go ND.

Huge fan of the LA one, the cast seems to have more of a cohesive vibe, quite a bit of action as well. Plus LL freaking Cool J...

Have tried both the original and the NO series, just can't get into them; they progress a little too slowly for my liking.

I watch all three. I agree with Tyson, I love NCIS: LA, mainly due to how the cast just interacts with each other. To me, they have the best chemistry out of the 3 shows. Not that the original NCIS is bad, but to me, it's Gibbs and his team, where as LA is about the team more than an individual. NO is good, but definitely the weaker of the two. I like Scott Bakula, and really look forward to how they continue the series.

Anyone watching NCIS this season? The last 2 episodes which are a part of a trilogy of episodes ending with next weeks season finale have been intense. NCIS: New Orleans last 2 episodes have been pretty good too. Next week is going to be a killer for both shows season finales.

I used to love NCIS but dropped out when Ziva's replacement turned out to be yet another TVgenic Aspie who is about 20 and can fix everything ever except her own awkwardness. Bleh. The show got pretty formulaic too, even for a procedural, and seemed to really spin its wheels a lot.

You should watch the last 2 episodes and next weeks finale. Bishop's character has improved tremendously. I miss Ziva still, but it was like that for a whole season when we lost Kate.

NCIS's Season Finale was intense! The ending sucked balls because we have to wait to next season to see if a certain person survives, which I know they will, but damn!

NCIS: New Orleans season finale was good too. Glad they tied up that part of the story. And glad Prides dad has finally worked out his issues with Pride. Hope Keach gets more screen time now.

I'm sorry, but that finale was eyeroll worthy. How can you really think that character is dead?

Kate was probably the most consistently quality character but they had created a good backstory for her and then didn't have a lot of time to spin her wheels. Ziva's my favourite because at her best she was simply lethal, but they kept giving her nothing to do except misunderstand film quotes and wander off into the desert.

I haven't watched the finale yet and if they're pulling, yet again, the old "zomg main character looks dead" trick I'm not particularly interested. I can't blame them too much for not having much left to say with the show, though. It's a procedural franchise, it'll grind on with the same thing until the end of profitability.

I know that character isn't gonna die, unless we come back next season and find out it's the last season and it was done for shock value and to see how the team reacts and carries on afterwards. I wouldn't be surprised if that character does end up dying, it would be very shocking and would create quite the buzz. I can only see them doing that though if next season was the last season. Which I have not kept up to date on whether or not they have been signed for at least another 2 seasons or not. There hasn't been too may season cliffhangers where you think that one of the main characters is going to die or has died.

If you have not seen the last 3 episodes yet, do not read the following.

Some people like these kinds of shows and some don't. I feel very invested in all the characters this season more than ever. Even Bishop. She's grown on me. When I'm working at the gym, I keep 1 tv on USA all day just so I can glance at the tv through my office window whenever it's on. I'm weird I guess, I never tire of the show.

Since the 2nd of this last trilogy, I felt something was going to happen with Gibbs because of the kid. I still didn't trust the little bastard.

So, after 13 years, Michael Weatherly is going bye bye.

NCIS shocker: Michael Weatherly is leaving the CBS drama

    NCIS

    Posted January 5 2016 — 6:14 PM EST

    Say it ain’t so, Tony!

CBS has confirmed that Michael Weatherly, who created the role of Special Agent Tony DiNozzo on NCIS in 2003, is leaving the CBS drama at the end of the season.

“He is a valued part of the CBS family, and the immense charm and talent he brings to the screen as ‘very’ Special Agent Tony DiNozzo has helped make NCIS what it is today … the No. 1 drama in the world,” representatives for CBS said in a statement. “We thank Michael for all of his contributions to this successful franchise and look forward to continuing to develop projects with him as part of our ongoing development deal.”

Weatherly also tweeted several goodbye messages on Tuesday. “DiNozzo is a wonderful, quixotic character & I couldn’t have had more fun playing him over the past 13 seasons,” he wrote. He also tweeted that “Les Moonves & CBS gave me the opportunity of a lifetime.”

The network confirmed Weatherly’s exit after David McCallum, a.k.a. Ducky, unexpectely revealed Weatherly’s departure in a British publication called Vulture Hound. “We’re going to finish shooting this season at the end of April, and DiNozzo, played by Michael Weatherly, we’ve told people a long time ago, is leaving at the end of the season. So the writers have to decide what to do when one of the four members of the original cast leaves.”

DiNozzo is a wonderful, quixotic character & I couldn't have had more fun playing him over the past 13 seasons

Les Moonves & CBS gave me the opportunity of a lifetime.

I will miss the amazing crew & cast, who are like family to me, & to the fans all over the world - THANK YOU, it’s been a fantastic ride!

This kinda sucks. He and Pauley are my favs. Mark Harmon is awesome, but who is he going to play with now. I can't see his character having the same relationship with Mcgee or Bishop that he has had with Tony all these years.

Might as well end the show. Losing Ziva and Tony now makes the show boring and it has had a good run.

I'd like to see it go on at least one more season. I'm interested in seeing if they bring a new agent in or if this will be a sendoff for Tony's own NCIS Team or if he is going to go off in search of Ziva again. I can't see them just ending the show because he's leaving. But, how will it be without him. It's not like Bishop or Palmer is leaving. That would not have a major impact on the show. I want to see how they handle him leaving and then how they handle the first season without him. I just hope they don't kill of his character.

He will probably go after Ziva and work for Mossad, or some stupid thing like that. He has been working on developing new shows for CW, so I believe he has retired from being in front of the camera and deciding to go behind it instead.

I think he still has a deal with CBS too to work on new stuff. I know in one of the articles I read, CBS said that they are looking forward to the continuing relationship and future projects with him.

So, after the last 2 episodes, I have a feeling Dinozzo is going to be the mole. I absolutely hate that idea, but I can't see any other way for them to write him off the show now. One major player dead, another major player possibly going to die, and it's just gonna be a fucked way to ruin everything about Dinozzo. Hopefully now that I wrote that, that's not going to happen.

    Bumped.

“NCIS: LA” will have its series finale on May 14th. They had a great run, I watched this show from the beginning; if I’m being totally honest, it jumped the shark and dipped in quality last season.

Whether it was the network deciding to cut costs or one (or more) of the main castmembers saying “Fourteen years and 300+ episodes as the same character is enough”, we’ll probably never know and it really doesn’t matter.

Congrats to the cast and crew.

Real sad about this tbh. I feel like this show has been consistently good for its duration.
Wonder if the original will get the are too?

My ex-gf is a die hard fan of these type of shows. NCIS, Criminal Minds, Law & Order, all the main spinoffs as well. I never got into LA but when it's on Ion I'll check out the reruns.
