Sof, admit you have a compulsive Jack Marriott habit. For your sake and your team's sake, stop signing him.

I hadn't realised Sow got sent off for elbow smashing someone too.

It's a man's game. It would have bounced off of the beard of our Michael Nelson.

You getting a point on the opening week doesn't mean your team isn't shit!

Absolutely ridiculous I dropped a point there however head in hands when Aguero scored.

And Zlatan out for 4 or more weeks

Thanks for that Mikey. Thought I'd do a bit of housekeeping whilst it was quiet here.

Top Scorers updated. I'm going to try and keep on top of that each week. I did do the form table too but Mikey's got forumale and macros all over that motherfucker so I'm leaving that to him right now. MMH Cup is up to date too (although that wasn't exactly tricky).

Nice one BBF. The form guide (W L D) should update each week by itself, it's the FM style position each week graph which needs a manual input

It was annoying when putting teams in the spreadsheet and updating goals on Saturday reading people write things like PLAYED, SCORED 1 next to their player's names or mention how they are winning 1-0 but blank entries in the sheet. Put them in the spreadsheet and update the goals you knobs!

OK I'm happy to do that as and when needed. So if i was 10th after week 1 and 5th after week 2 I'd just have to have those league positions put in the respective game weeks, right?

Yep, that's it. I usually put them in as negatives though so that the rankings read 1st to 20th, as positives have the highest number at the top

I reckon each person should be responsible for this. Post your team in here and update the spreadsheet or your team isn't valid. If you are posting from a phone, contact someone on twitter or here and ask them to update your team on the spreadsheet. People like Mikey, Col and Gary put a lot of work in, updating your team isn't hard.

I don't think it needs to go that far, a lot of people post team update on phones from football matches they are watching etc but if you are able to post in here following your score etc atleast try and update it as a common courtesy.

It might just be me being an idiot, but I don't see the option to edit the spreadsheet anymore? Otherwise I would have updated mine and Andy's game.

    I didn't say you didn't you goon

Gary J sneaking a 2-1 victory over a side which included two players that weren't even in their team's squads. Good to see his luck hasn't changed from last season ROLLEYES.

Zlatan and Shaw injured (although might play this weekend) and Collins didn't get on the pitch yesterday. Then I came in to sign Stuart Beavon with Danny Rose as another option and fucking Alex of all people signed him (obviously Jay signed the other, predictable. I don't even know who Danny Rose is). Starting well.

Afobe is a bit of a gamble. The pattern at the moment seems to be Grigg plays up top on his own at the weekend and Afobe plays in midweek, although that could change obviously, especially with his goal last night. And it is Will Grigg we're talking about.

I had my eye on Rose before last night's game, just because of his goals to minutes ratio for Bury; him starting and scoring again last night sealed the deal. See how he gets on.

Tough to know who to believe here. Has Torn made a panic signing or is Jay just planting seeds of doubt?

Preston boss Simon Grayson says his side were "never going to sell" last season's top scorer Joe Garner.
The former Watford striker, who has scored three goals in the first three games this season, signed a two-year extension at Deepdale on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old scored 24 goals in all competitions last season as North End finished fifth in League One.
"He's one of the hottest properties around," said Grayson after a 1-1 draw at Doncaster on Tuesday.
He told BBC Radio Lancashire: "We've been really adamant that we're never going to sell him, regardless of speculation.
"It's fantastic news and hopefully there's loads more goals for him."
    Enjoyable.

Can't understand why Rotherham are so keen to get rid, he's a really good player. Too good for League One, must mean Baldock is off.

Brighton need to replace Ulloa so Baldock could very well be off, but he hasn't done anything so far this season anyhow. And apparently JET has fallen out of favour after his long dry spell; he's only scored three goals since January.

If he moves, I reckon he'd play regularly - Cotterill is obviously a big fan of his, having chased him for most of the summer. Perhaps the blank at home to Leyton Orient the other night has sped things up a little and made them go back in with a higher offer.

Torn might be right though, he could turn out to be a bit of a one season wonder. I personally disagree, but given his scoring record last year I think he's definitely worth a punt - provided he actually agrees terms.

He's 24 and only really played one full season as first choice so there's a good reason he's a one season wonder.

Let's be honest here, none of us know for sure. If I wanted to, I could put a case forward for Sam Baldock being a bit of a one season wonder; up until last season the most he'd ever scored in all competitions in one season was fourteen. A lot of the time he has just about scraped into double figures. And yet he was the twenty-fourth pick in the draft. Given Agard scored more than Baldock last season, I think he's worth a go.

Bristol City have just tweeted that Agard has officially signed on a three year deal. Fantastic news, as I did think perhaps I'd jumped the gun a little after he failed to agree terms with Leeds.

I think it depends on where you look. SoccerBase, for some reason, doesn't load on my work PC, but ESPN has Agard as scoring 28 in all competitions and Baldock 27. It doesn't really matter though, whether he scored one more or exactly the same, it doesn't change my point.

MMH, if I've signed a player within the last fortnight can I trade him with someone else who has signed someone in the last fortnight? As long as someone keeps those respective players for two weeks it's fine, right?

It will happen his uncle is our assistant manager so we've probably tapped him up. Also we've only bid £8m which is what Blackburn paid for him. He'll end up costing us the £12m we got for Shane Long.

Yeah we've already had Blackburn fans on some of the Hull City forums saying we must have tapped him up because he was shit and disinterested against Norwich.

He's looked disinterested ever since he had to leave Jayventus, and who could blame him.

Its never really come up. I guess it would be fair to apply the 2 gameweek rule to this too so yeah exact same rule as if you are dropping players.

It will probably be vetoed anyway once we see you trying to take advantage of Sancty or someone....

Speaking of which I want to bring in like 5 unsigned players and its driving me mad. Someone offer one of your good players for 2 of mine or something.

Ill no doubt reject the offer like I always do but its annoying as I reckon all my squad has massive potential but if they havnt shown it after 1 week I get restless.

It has come up before I'm sure and it was deemed that as long as someone keeps the player for two weeks it's fine.

The two trades being discussed are with long term and much better players than me. I was approached for one.

Dave will help me with a precedent here.
