    Made it far in the playoffs, now Friend and I need to contribute further. Take some of the burden off LBJ.

    You guys will be in the draft for next year, since I have to enter new draft picks at the start of each season. We'll get there by Saturday i'm sure.

    1. Phoenix Suns --> Shane Blackening (SF - 70)
    2.
    Philadelphia 76ers --> Tyson Bell (C - 70)
    3.
    Atlanta Hawks --> John Douglas (C - 70)
    4.
    Memphis Grizzlies --> Jeffrey Daly (PG - 63)
    5.
    Los Angeles Lakers --> Leonard Ray (PG - 63)
    6.
    Denver Nuggets --> James House (SG - 74)
    7.
    Charlotte Bobcats --> Herbert Newton (SG - 62)
    8.
    Dallas Mavericks --> Hubert Livingston (PF - 63)
    (Herbert and Hubert. I am not shitting you.)
    9.
    Boston Celtics --> Charles Wesley (SG - 62)
    10.
    Orlando Magic --> Kurt Ferguson (SG - 61)

    12. Toronto Raptors --> Everet Marrington (SF - 59)
    15.
    Philadelphia 76ers --> Elton Dawson (PF - 58)
    16.
    Philadelphia 76ers --> Lynn Givens (PG - 55)
    19. Washington Wizards --> Lowell Singletary (PF - 54)
    21. Dallas Mavericks --> Jackie Moncrief (C - 53)
    24. Washington Wizards --> Johnathan Morgan (SG - 54)
    25. Los Angeles Clippers
    --> Brevin Osborne (SF - 54)

    (All 3 Rajahites get drafted by teams whose only good player plays the same position. This game has a cruel sense of humor.)

    Now i'll update you on your ratings, and where you stand on the depth chart for your team. These rankings reflect your roster prior to free agency.

    Starters

    Matt Payton (Suns - 83 - SF1)
    You're the piece the Suns are building around, and already an All Star. The team is slowing starting to come together around you.
    Kris Destiny (Bucks - 83 - SF1)
    Your team played beyond your talent last year, and might have a bit of a come down this time.
    Pablo Diablo (Bobcats - 83 - SG1)
    A strong starter on a team that is going places.
    Izzy Baldwin (Mavericks - 83 - SG1)
    Monte Ellis decided not to share with LeBron, which makes you the starter on a team that will revolve around LeBron passing you the ball, (your team blows.)
    Tyrone Shoelaces (Raptors - 83 - PG1)
    Lowry finally showed his age and has ceded the starting spot to you. If you get a PF, you guys could be dangerous.
    Rampage Reveille (Grizzlies - 78 - C1)
    Marc Gasol regressed and you made a BIG jump to steal the starting spot out from under him. As the reigning Rookie of the Year, your future looks crazy bright.

    Sixth Men

    Zach Rodman (Clippers - 83 - PF2)
    Life is good in LA. The Clippers have shit for Centers, so you might see some starting minutes.
    Grim Ario (Wizards - 83 - PG2)
    You've established yourself as Dr. Clutch on an exciting young team. I'm not sure what your future holds, but you'll be a catch in free agency.
    Mister Owl (Magic - 82 - SG2)
    Your rating would make you a starter at any other position on your rotten team.
    Golden Friend (Mavericks - 77 - SF2)
    Stuck beyond LeBron for eternity, but with Izzy as a starter, you'll get 6th man minutes.
    John Douglas (Hawks - 71 - C2)
    This is not a good team, and it's getting old in a hurry. You may be stuck in a rebuilding project.
    Tyson Bell (76ers - 70 - C2)
    Noel is young and well ahead of you, but his contract is up next year, and this team is rotten and never signs free agents. Your luck could improve fast.
    Shane Blackening (Suns - 70 - SF2)
    You will never supplant Payton in Phoenix, the man is all they have and only 2 years older. 2 seasons until you can ask for a trade.

    Bench Warmers

    Mike Mills (Trail Blazers - 79 - PF3)
    I know you're going to ask for a trade and I don't blame you.

    The way i'll be doing this is i'll detail every transaction made by the teams that have Rajah people, and i'll just list the really big moves for the rest of the league. That way you can really get a sense for your own team more than anything.

    Dallas Mavericks (Izzy Baldwin and Golden Friend)
    Re-signs Monte Ellis (SG - 85) (5yrs/$45.25)
    (Not exactly a vote of confidence for Izzy. This pushes both he and Golden Friend back down the pecking order.)

    Charlotte Bobcats (Pablo Diablo)
    Re-signs Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (SF - 83) (3yrs/$17.55)
    Signs Dirk Nowitzski (PF - 75) (1yr/$2.41)

    Memphis Grizzlies (Rampage Reveille)
    Signs Carlos Boozer (PF - 74) (2yrs/$3.93)

    Milwaukee Bucks (Kris Destiny)
    Re-signs OJ Mayo (SG - 83) (5yrs/$42.03)

    Orlando Magic (Mister Owl)
    Re-signed Maurice Harkness (SF - 78) (3yrs/$12.03)

    Toronto Raptors (Tyrone Shoelaces)
    Signed Brandon Jennings (PG - 90) (3yrs/$47.70)
    (Wow, I did not see this coming. You already have 2 PGs in the 80s and you bring in another one? Insane. Tyrone is now PG2 again.)

    Atlanta Hawks (John Douglas)
    (Signed 3 or 4 guys in the 70-72 range.)

    Portland Trail Blazers (Mike Mills)
    Re-signed Damian Lillard (PG - 92) (3yrs/$48.93)

    Washington Wizards (Grim Ario)
    N/A

    Los Angeles Clippers (Zach Rodman)
    N/A

    Philadelphia 76ers (Tyson Bell)
    N/A

    Phoenix Suns (Matt Payton)
    N/A

    ------------------------------------------------

    The Best of the Rest

    Detroit Pistons signs Dwight Howard (C - 92) (4yrs/$92.70)
    Cleveland Cavaliers signs Kobe Bryant (SG - 86) (1yr/$6.65)
    Denver Nuggets signs JJ Hickson (C - 80) (4yrs/$29.22)

    Well the Raptors straight up fucked themselves for years to come by sinking all their money into one position, and the Mavericks gave $50 million to a guy who is about to be replaced, but everyone else who signed someone did a good job. As far as the other teams Detroit just made themselves a big contender, and Kobe Bryant continues to be the most ruthless mercenary in basketball.

    Man, I hate the Phoenix front office. We passed on Rampage Reveille last year, and on two centers this year to take another SF. Honestly, I hope I get re-signed as I like the idea of spending my whole career in one place (as unlikely as that is in these games), but they need to make better decisions.

    I know what you mean. Phoenix has been making baffling decisions from the start. They have traded every 2nd rounder they've had available thus far for shitty players in their 60s thus far too.

    But it seems ike the computer can't resist stockpiling positions. Dwight Howard is now starting over Andre Drummond (85) and we all see what is going on in Toronto.

    I'll also say, to anyone who wants to sign up from this point on, the league is FULL of SGs. If you want early playing time, make a Power Forward.

    The rumor mill has gotten word that Mile Mills is unsatisfied in Portland, and is willing to be traded to any takers. Mills is a 3 1/2 star trade prospect out of 5 and should have no trouble finding a taker. As a matter of fact, it is our understanding that...yes, that's correct. We have word that a trade has been finalized. Let's check out the details.

    Mike Mills (PF - 81) (Portland Trail Blazers) --> Kyle Lowry (PG - 78) and 2017 2nd Round Pick (Toronto Raptors)

    This move alters the Raptor's depth chart as so:

    Toronto Raptors

    PG - Brandon Jennings (90)
    SG - Demar DeRozan (84)
    SF - Landry Firelds (79)
    PF - Mike Mills (81)
    C - Jonas Valanciunas (82)
    - Tyrone Shoelaces (83)

    Make it two trades.

    I look at that list of starting 5's and could start in 5 of them. And that's without looking at the teams without Rajah stars on them.

    As long as I don't end up at Phily...

    Note: I have already simulated the first half of the season. So these trades will be reflected in the second half of this season.

    Grim Ario (PG - 83) (Washington Wizards) --> Monte Ellis (SG - 85) (Dallas Mavericks)

    Dallas Mavericks
    PG - Grim Ario (83)
    SG - Izzy Baldwin (83)

    SF - LeBron James (99)
    PF - Jason Thompson (66)
    C - Omar Asik (73)
    - Golden Friend (77)

    (This is a blockbuster Rajahite trade. Not only does Grim get to start, but this also bumps Izzy into a starting spot, and moves Golden into the 6th man spot. You guys lucked out huge.)

    Now remember, the three of you are stuck with your current teams until you become free agents. I'm about to post the first half results for this season, and then i'll leave it until about noon tomorrow for any last trade requests to be made. If you don't make them now, you have to wait until the start of the next season.

    Cool, I got another Rajahite out in Phoenix. It's too bad it isn't a big man, but we still have the makings of a decent team if we can get somebody in the middle.

    Your need for a big man will be fulfilled when Obi Sanctimony is available at the 4 or 5 spot come this spring's draft.

    Standings

    Western Conference

    1. Portland Trail Blazers (37-15)
    2. Utah Jazz (35-16)
    3. New Orleans Pelicans (36-18)
    4. Oklahoma City Thunder (35-19)
    5. Sacramento Kings (33-20)
    6. Golden State Warriors (32-21)
    7. Minnesota Timberwolves (32-23)
    8. Houston Rockets (29-23)

    Dallas Mavericks (27-25)

    Denver Nuggets (25-28)
    Phoenix Suns (16-35)

    San Antonio Spurs (17-37)
    Los Angeles Clippers (17-38)
    Los Angeles Lakers (16-37)
    Memphis Grizzlies (14-30)

    FIVE teams with less than 18 wins. That's fucking unprecedented. The bottom half of the West is a total joke, despite all the talent that can be found there. And the other side, Utah has taken a huge step forward along with the Trail Blazers, putting them both ahead of the usual suspects. Sadly, it's entirely possible that all the Western Rajahites will be shut out of the playoffs, which is a shame. Especially since seeing the Blazers now must piss Mills off just a little bit.

    Eastern Conference

    1. Chicago Bulls (35-17)
    2. Cleveland Cavaliers (33-20)
    3. Washington Wizards (31-20)
    4. Toronto Raptors (32-22)
    5. Charlotte Bobcats (29-23)
    6. Orlando Magic (29-25)
    7. Milwaukee Bucks (27-25)
    8. New York Knicks (28-26)

    Philadelphia 76ers (25-27)
    Brooklyn Nets (24-27)
    Indiana Pacers (24-29)
    Detroit Pistons (23-29)
    Boston Celtics (20-32)
    Miami Heat (18-34)
    Atlanta Hawks (13-40)

    Almost every Rajahite in the East is poised to go to the playoffs this year, which is fantastic. Mike Mills and Grim Ario have both been fantastic for their teams, and are in contention for season ending awards at this point. The exception to all the success is poor John Douglas, who is stuck on the worst team in the league. Meanwhile, Chicago has quietly assumed the top spot, despite going completely unnoticed up to this point.

    Its called tanking to get the number 1 pick in the draft. Just a shame that I prolly wont be there to play with him.

    Well, give me some advice on if I should jump now, or wait till the offseason. I don't mind haning around another half a season.

    What about free agency, which I believe is 2 1/2 years away for me. Do we get to chose our teams or computer does it for us?

    Well you have to wait until the start of your third season, so you're stuck there until the start of next year regardless.

    Free agency is going to work differently depending on which talent tier you fall into. Anyone who has won an NBA Championship or made an All Star team during their last contract will be able to choose from any of the teams that make them an offer. Any starter on their team will be able to choose from 3 teams selected at random from the pool of offers. And everyone else will be signed by the CPU with no input from the player.

    Standings

    Western Conference

    1. Oklahoma City Thunder (54-27)
    2. New Orleans Pelicans (53-28)
    3. Portland Trail Blazers (53-28)
    4. Golden State Warriors (50-31)
    5. Minnesota Timberwolves (51-30)
    6. Utah Jazz (50-31)
    7. Sacramento Kings (46-35)
    8. Dallas Mavericks (44-38)

    Houston Rockets (43-39)
    Denver Nuggets (40-41)
    San Antonio Spurs (28-53)
    Phoenix Suns (27-54)

    Los Angeles Clippers (25-56)
    Los Angeles Lakers (24-57)
    Memphis Grizzlies (21-60)

    The Rajahite heavy Mavericks just baaaaaarely manage to squeak into the playoffs by rattling off a 6 game winning streak to end the year. They'll be going against another superpowered Thunder team, but the Mavericks are basically perfectly built to provide an upset, so anything could happen. Otherwise, the West shook out pretty much the same as it was at midseason, with the Rockets being the only team that qualified then that has been left out in the cold. It should be pointed out that a huge disparity in quality is opening up in recent years between the top 10 teams and the bottom 5. Whether the bottom 5 are all tanking or what is hard to tell, but the LA teams have been hard to watch especially.

    Eastern Conference

    1. Washington Wizards (53-29)
    2. Cleveland Cavaliers (52-30)
    3. Chicago Bulls (50-32)
    4. Toronto Raptors (46-36)
    5. Charlotte Bobcats (45-37)
    6. Orlando Magic (44-38)
    7. Philadelphia 76ers (43-40)
    8. Milwaukee Bucks (43-40)

    New York Knicks (40-42)
    Indiana Pacers (39-44)
    Brooklyn Nets (36-46)
    Detroit Pistons (35-48)
    Boston Celtics (34-49)
    Miami Heat (28-54)
    Atlanta Hawks (24-58)

    It's going to be bedlam in the East, where nearly every Rajahite is still in play. Washington has become the favorite, after basically going insane after trading away Grim. But there's no clear powerhouse favorite in this conference, and any of the 8 teams has a legitimate shot at the Finals. Of course, once they get there, the West has beaten then East 3 years in a row.

    The Memphis Grizzlies, Los Angeles Clippers and Atlanta Hawks have fired their head coaches.

    2018 1st Round Pick and 2018 2nd Round Pick (Bucks) --> Marshon Brooks (SG - 75) (Nuggets)
    (What a strange trade from the Bucks. They gave away their entire 2018 draft for an SG3.)

    Chis Paul and Blake Griffen better figure their shit out. A new head coach will help too, otherwise I'm walking after the following season and I'll be on my 3 rd team already.

    1st Round

    (1) Oklahoma City Thunder > (8) Dallas Mavericks: (4-2)
    (A valiant effort. Izzy averaged 18 PPG for the series, and Grim scored 26 in Game 6, but it wasn't enough.)

    (2) New Orleans Pelicans > (7) Sacramento Kings (4-1)

    (3) Portland Trail Blazers > (6) Utah Jazz: (4-1)

    (5) Minnesota Timberwolves >
    (4) Golden State Warriors: (4-0)
    (Golden State hasn't made it out of the first round in 4 years.)

    -----------------------------------------------

    (8) Milwaukee Bucks > (1) Washington Wizards > (4-3)
    (MAJOR UPSET. Destiny was awful in the first 2 games, but nearly averaged a triple double the rest of the way.)

    (2) Cleveland Cavaliers > (7) Philadelphia 76ers: (4-1)
    (Bell's best game was Game 1 where he had 10 points and 7 rebounds.)

    (6) Orlando Magic > (3) Chicago Bulls: (4-2)
    Owl didn't get many minutes, but he filled up the box score in every category.

    (5) Charlotte Bobcats > (4) Toronto Raptors: (4-3)
    (An epic clash between Rajahite teams. Mills was dominant, nearly averaging a double/double for the series, but Pablo exploded in Game 7 with 27 points and 7 rebounds to clinch it.)

    2nd Round

    (1) Oklahoma City Thunder > (5) Minnesota Timberwolves: (4-0)

    (3) Portland Trail Blazers > (2) New Orleans Pelicans: (4-1)

    -------------------------------------

    (8) Milwaukee Bucks > (5) Charlotte Bobcats: (4-2)
    (Destiny's Cinderella story rolls on, as they put down Pablo's Bobcats in 6. Destiny once again nearly averaged a triple double. Pablo scored 20 and had 9 assists in Game 6, but the Bucks move on.)

    (2) Cleveland Cavaliers> (6) Orlando Magic: (4-1)
    (The Cavs shit Owl down completely. No way the Bucks beat Cleveland.)

    Conference Championships

    (1) Oklahoma City Thunder > (3) Portland Trail Blazers: (4-2)

    -------------------------------------------

    (8) Milwaukee Bucks > (2) Cleveland Cavaliers: (4-2)
    (This run by the Bucks is literally unprecedented in NBA history. They've taken down the 1, 2, and 5 seeds and are now going to go up against the most dominant team in the league. Can they do it one last time? Probably not, since Destiny injured his wrist in Game 2 and will be out for 1-2 weeks. The Bucks have to hold out long enough to get him back.)

    NBA Finals

    (8) Milwaukee Bucks > (1) Oklahoma City Thunder: (4-3)
    (I'm officially calling this the Milwaukee Miracle. The Thunder went up 2-0 to start, but the Bucks managed to fight back to force a Game 7, where Destiny made his dramatic return. In Game 7, Destiny held Kevin Durant to 9 points while earning the first triple double of his career with 21 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. I assume they'll be building a statue to him in Wisconsin.)

    Well, I am not sure if I want to be traded or not. I am always of the mindset that after winning a title it's good to start over, but we were an 8 seed so I don't know.

    9. San Antonio Spurs
    --> Melvin Moran (SG - 61)
    10.

    Philadelphia 76ers --> Gary Pope (PG - 54)
    16. Dallas Mavericks --> Johnny Leonard (PF - 56)
    17. Orlando Magic --> Jay Watson (SF - 58)
    18. Toronto Raptors
    --> Shelden McCloud (SF - 58)
    20. Charlotte Bobcats --> Steve Gentry (PF - 54)
    22. Philadelphia 76ers --> Percy Hardaway (SG - 54)

    (The Suns have to be joking, right? I mean, seriously. The big winners here are the Lakers and John Douglas.)

    Now i'll update you on your ratings, and where you stand on the depth chart for your team. These rankings reflect your roster prior to free agency.

    Starters

    Matt Payton (Suns - 88 - SF1)
    Can you drag the Suns out of the garbage in the last season of your contract?
    Kris Destiny (Bucks - 87 - SF1)
    WEEEEE AREEEEEE THE CHAAAAAMPIONS, MY FRIEEEEEEEEEEEND
    Pablo Diablo (Bobcats - 87 - SG1)
    You're officially the star player of the Bobcats. You, Kemba Walker and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist are all young and great.
    Mister Owl (Magic - 87 - SG1)
    If the Magic don't re-sign Oladipo, this is your team now.
    Grim Ario (Mavericks - 87 - PG1)
    Your first taste of the starting spot was underwhelming, but you're dishing to LeBron. Stats should follow.
    Tyrone Shoelaces (Suns - 87 - PG1)
    You and Payton may form the Rajah dream team, but you're going to have t step your game up.
    Izzy Baldwin (Mavericks - 86 - SG1)

    You have the starting spot definitively. Time to live up to the hype.
    Mike Mills (Raptors - 85 - PF1)
    Nobody was helped more by their trade than you. You're going to be elite.
    Rampage Reveille (Grizzlies - 84 - C1)
    This team is basically just you.

    Sixth Men

    Zach Rodman (Clippers - 87 - PF2)
    You may actually surpass Blake Griffin by next year, but if the Clippers get a Center you'll be stuck as a 6th man again.
    Golden Friend (Mavericks - 81 - SF2)
    LeBron is 32. He won't last forever.
    Shane Blackening (Suns - 76 - SF2)
    At this point, you have to hope Payton leaves in free agency.
    Tyson Bell (76ers - 75 - C2)
    Nerlens Noel is an 87 and still very young. I'd be looking for a trade after next year if I were you.
    John Douglas (Hawks - 73 - C2)
    Limited playing time leads to limited progress. Playing on the league's worst team is hurting you.

    Bench Warmers

    Steve Hithit (Suns - 72 - SF3)
    Sorry, dude. The Suns fucked you over bad.
    Obi Sanctimony (Lakers - 71 - PF3)
    You're stuck on the bench for now, but the guys ahead of you are a 77 who is 32 and a 72 who is 37.

    Hmmm... never really liked the Lakers but this isn't Kobe's team anymore, it's Showtime Sanctimony.

    ANOTHER small forward? Forget drafting, it's time to build through free agency. Come on kdes, you know you want to come to Phoenix and form a big three after next year.

    Hahaha, I thought you were a PF. That's an idea though. We already have Payton, Blackening, and Hithit. If you come and we traded for Golden Friend we could field a starting five of all young talented forwards. We wouldn't win any games, bt we'd be impossible to defend. We could average 120 ppg!

    The way i'll be doing this is i'll detail every transaction made by the teams that have Rajah people, and i'll just list the really big moves for the rest of the league. That way you can really get a sense for your own team more than anything.

    Charlotte Bobcats (Pablo Diablo)
    Re-signed Cody Zeller (PF - 82) (3yrs/$22.58)

    Memphis Grizzlies (Rampage Reveille)
    Re-signs Ed Davis (PF - 79) (5yrs/$22.01)
    Signs DJ Augustin (SG - 76) (4yrs/$21.10)

    Orlando Magic (Mister Owl)
    Re-signed Victor Oladipo (SG - 87) (4yrs/$39.87)

    Los Angeles Lakers (Obi Sanctimony)
    Signs Terrence Williams (SF - 76) (3yrs/$9.71)

    Phoenix Suns (Matt Payton, Tyrone Shoelaces, Shane Blackening and Steve Hithit)
    Re-signed Alex Len, Jordan Crawford, Mario Chalmers and Archie Goodwin, all 4 yrs, combined $25.

    Toronto Raptors (Mike Mills)
    N/A

    Atlanta Hawks (John Douglas)
    N/A

    Los Angeles Clippers (Zach Rodman)
    N/A

    Dallas Mavericks (Izzy Baldwin, Grim Ario and Golden Friend)
    N/A

    Philadelphia 76ers (Tyson Bell)
    N/A

    Milwaukee Bucks (Kris Destiny)
    N/A

    ------------------------------------------------

    The Best of the Rest

    Brooklyn Nets signs Derrick Rose (PG - 94) (4yr/$93.98)
    Chicago Bulls signs Russell Westbrook (PG - 92) (4yrs/$85.40)
    Oklahoma City Thunder signs Ty Lawson (PG - 88) (3yrs/$41.32)
    Golden State Warriors signs JR Smith (SG - 83) (3yrs/$16.08)
    Minnesota Timberwolves signs Gordon Heyward (SF - 81) (4yrs/$30.23)
    Chicago Bulls signs Isiah Thomas (PG - 80) (3yrs/$17.82)

    Tons of turnover in the league, but not much with the Rajah teams. The Bulls, Thunder and Nets played PG swap, and the Magic sealed their fate in alienating Mister Owl by re-signing Oladipo. For the record, The Suns fired their head coach for the 4th consecutive year.

    The rumor mill has gotten word that Mister Owl is unsatisfied in Orlando, and is willing to be traded to any takers. Owl is a 4 star trade prospect out of 5 and should have no trouble finding a taker. As a matter of fact, it is our understanding that...yes, that's correct. We have word that a trade has been finalized. Let's check out the details.

    Mister Owl (SG - 86) (Orlando Magic) --> Raymond Felton (PG - 75) and 2018 1st Round Pick (Los Angeles Clippers)

    Los Angeles Clippers
    PG - Chris Paul (96)
    SG - Mister Owl (86)

    SF - Brevin Osborne (60)
    PF - Blake Griffin (90)
    C - Tyson Chandler (69)
    - Zach Rodman (87)

    (This may put the Clippers back in the playoffs.)

    Rampage Reveille (C - 82) (Memphis Grizzlies) --> 2018 1st Round Pick and 2019 1st Round Pick (San Antonio Spurs)

    (The Spurs were desperate for a new face for their franchise after the end of the Tim Duncan era, and they're gambling that Rampage will want to stay with them long term.)

    You guys basically have 9 hours to talk each other into coming to your teams. I anticipate finishing the season early in the morning.

    For the record, as things stand now, only Matt Payton, Zach Rodman and Kris Destiny will be able to choose where they go freely. People without titles or all star appearances only get a randomized pool of 3 teams to choose from (in edition to your current team). Backups do not get to decide what happens to them.

    I know what you mean. I started this one because Sancty's games always sucked me in beyond reason.
