“Seth is considered good for WrestleMania. So Triple H [vs.] Seth is on, that’s what they’re working towards. Maybe that’s why they didn’t tip their hand [with a Rollins update on Raw], but they are going with the idea that that match is still on, and that he will be ready for WrestleMania.”
If he's gonna be ready then this injury makes the storyline better. Also puts Joe over pretty big as the destroyer, the only thing the injury really robs us of is Joe/Rollins at Fast Lane.

I love me some Rowan. He gets more criticism than he deserves on here, which is such a shame because he's not bad. I still think while he wasn't the best wrestler of the original Wyatt trio, to me he was always the most interesting. Loved his sheep mask and attire... and him being a silent giant w/ the mind of a genius but demeanor of a child was very captivating. I remember the Wyatts first split (it feels like they've split up a million times) and Rowan would always carry around his Rubik's cube and would sometimes finish it when a promo ended. A character like that had legs, and WWE botched it. Classic.I, for one, am going to mark out when Rowan comes back.

I welcome Rowan back, and I for one hope the Harper/Bray thing is a ruse. The Wyatts will always be Bray, Luke, and Erick. Looking back at their debut, it's insane to see what WWE has done w/ them. Their gimmick was perfect.
There's been some talk about this, but here's an update on Nikki's situation. Meltzer said that she's been working hurt (she's been feeling numbness on one side of her body) and that after this Sunday, she'll probably cut down her schedule until 'Mania and then take some time off to see if she'll heal. The feeling is that Nikk's isn't going to retire, but may become a part-timer and just wrestle on the big shows.
Nikki Bella is going to be the Mark Henry of the women's division where she barely works and we're supposed to consider it a big deal when she does only nobody will. But they can keep sending those free shirts to random girls on Instagram. Even my 6 year old daughter can't stand the Bellas. She saw Nikki the other night, maybe a few weeks back, and was upset she was attacking Natayla. Why? Cutest story....
She likes Charlotte. Charlotte calls herself "The Queen". Well she heard Natalya say that she was wrestling "royalty" and my daughter goes "Oh she's like Charlotte, they're both queens!" And she's into the Disney shows and the princesses and shit like that so it's nuts that she's a fan of 2 top heels, she doesn't realize they're heels, but she likes them because they're "royalty" lol. Cute stuff.
Rowan may not be the best wrestler of the group but outside of Bray, to me, he's the best character. I'm also hoping this current thing is a trick on Hraper/Wyatt's part to lure Randy and then Rowan will return at Mania (if he doesn't pop up at the Chamber to help Bray win) to hopefully help Bray retain and have a big significant moment.
Rowan isn't lighting the world on fire in the ring but he's absolutely passable. That combined with having a great look and an interesting character makes him a really good addition when he's around
What exactly is Rowan's character? I remember when he split from the Wyatts for that short time he was like Rainman solving the Rubix in 2 seconds, shit like that. Outside of that I'm not really sure how deep they've gone into his character. Fuck you could say that about every member of the Wyatts whether it's Bray, Rowan, even Braun. What's Braun's story? Did they kidnap him during the costume party where he was dressed up like Wonder Woman and now he's this killer of killers?
Rowan is a genius with the mind of a child. I think Luke is a military vet. I dunno if they've explained Braun.

Roman is a genuis man-child who plays classical guitar and makes wine in his spare time. That brief solo run was great in giving him some depth. Shame they didn't do the same with Harper at the time as I'm not even sure where BC got the Vietnam vet thing from, maybe it was subtle in those promos when they split?
I know in NXT they dabbled way more into Wyatt's history. I mean Braun, one day he just showed up in black lamb mask and started spitting verbals that sounded like they gave him a list of death metal song titles/phrases to throw out. But yeah I don't recall them dabbling into their pasts very much. I do remember the Rowan stuff obviously but yeah, don't recall Luke Harper's history being touched on in depth, at least on the main roster. I mean even Bray is still a mystery. Let's see more of that Wyatt Compound or more about Abigail.

Luke Harper is clearly a former gas station attendant/part time auto mechanic from Perryville, Florida who went missing under weird circumstances in 2005 and wasn't seen again until he was found on Bray Wyatt's compound in 2012. Luke's family has made repeated attempts to contact him, even going so far as to plead with him on social media to return. So far, those cries have gone unanswered...
The Wyatt Family would make for a great WWE Movie project. Never mind the Marine films or See No Evil, THIS is where it's at!
But Jamie Noble is Lukes cousin.

It's funny because a lot of fans beg for subtitly and more adult oriented storylines but when they get that with the Wyatt's they miss it. I'm guilty too here, I watched these when they aired and didn't pick anything up more than Bray rambling like he does. But on further inspection the Bray seems to be extremely subtle and to touch on some rather dark topics, it's just not handed to us in plain english. I know that Bray also has explained his past quite a bit as well but I always forget that and I think it happened on twitter. There is a name of an angel or a demon that he's referenced and seems to believe that's who he actually is. .
When you dive into the stuff with the Wyatt's and pay a little closer attention/research they aren't this rambling nothing that a lot of fans seem to think they are. They have been a bit misused but they have been plagued with injuries too. They also seem to be operating on a different level from most of what we're fed. The Bray face turn was gonna be fucking awesome and the fact that it was going to come from that 3 hour Rock promo at mania was really fucking cool IMO, and would of made them essentially jobbing at mania make sense.
Also someone else on here made me aware of all of the backstory. I really do think it was our resident POTTY Bill Casey but I'm not sure.

Too bad Bray Wyatt is only going to be a belt warmer until Wrestlemania. He seriously needs a run with the belt and a full stable and the ability to take over Smackdown if he wished.

You're making assumptions. I understand your pessimism, though. I'm hoping maybe reunited, stronger than ever Wyatt Family help him win and retain the belt and then he terrorizes the blue brand through the summer.
I really hope I am wrong and Bray Wyatt becomes the top heel of Smackdown with the belt. They keep tearing down his stable, when I wanted it beefed up. He should have underlings to do his bidding, crushing his enemies with sheer brute force. His crazy cult could really set Smackdown down a new path.
But his character never seems to get over the hump. Bray is relatively young and could be a mainstay for many years if they did a better job writing for him. I never feel good with WWE when it comes to pulling the trigger on Bray. This is their best chance to do it though.
I really think Bray needs to build a huge stable, Corporate Ministry size. Like, more than half of the SD roster. He should also rarely fight. Let his men do the fighting for him all of the time then feed on the remains. Title matches on PPV with big help from the family, rarely in action on TV.
I love huge stables. Such an easy way to give people something to do, build heat, create unlikely partnerships etc.
If that was how they handled him from the get go, Andy, he'd probably feel like a much bigger deal and have an actual aura about him. Unfortunately, we've had the last three years or whatever instead and he's just another guy.

When they had the creepy choir and started the "He's got the whole world in his hands" shtick, that looked like whn the aura was coming back. Then Cena won the feud.

I just took it as WWE going with the flow and knowing the fans would be happy to see him after being gone with an injury. And then they used his face pop to try and give Roman some rub. Then the brand split happened and I guess they felt like they needed Bray to revert to full heel again for SD but who knows? They may have never intended for him to stay baby past when his return pop cooled off.

I'm curious what they will do with Lana. She's been wrestling more and more on NXT house shows but I haven't seen a single clip of her wrestling. The only viable argument that really makes sense to me is that it is Mania season and they clearly didn't have anything lined up and not everyone can be in a worthwhile storyline. That's about it that I'll buy though. That doesn't mean I disagree with the notion his stock has fallen. It's been devalued in gradual states after suffering his first real loss. Like others have mentioned, they can't book monsters well after they lose. He had the tank, the grand entrance, and lost to Cena.
He had his feud with Roman which was disjointed (as many feuds with Roman are) because he was standing up and defending his wife, but he was being portrayed as a heel.
He's been fodder multiple legends or part-timers and hit rock bottom, for now, with Jinder.
To be fair, once you come down in a tank, it's pretty much downhill from there for most people.

Lana and Rusev, saying and doing horrible things for a couple years and Lana really getting zero comeuppance, I think that justifies what Roman did to their "wedding". Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Dash Wilder suffered an injury this past weekend and is expected to be out of action for a few months. Their report indicates that he broke his jaw over the weekend and initial estimates put him on the shelf until early July. The Revival faced Itami and Nakamura over the weekend.
Terrible, terrible timing as they were really making a splash on the main roster with going over New Day.
Always hopeful that it's just some bad info or misguided information, but we'll just have to wait and see.

I really rate Dawson so hopefully they find him something to do in the interim if this is true. I honestly think he can talk them into being a top 5 act without getting in the ring. He's class. Maybe do a gimmick where he comes out and antagonises the babyface team, but when they retaliate he backs down because it's not a fair fight being 2 on 1. Instant heat.

It seems more like tonight's match would lead to a questionable finish between Ambrose and Miz, leading to a definitive finale at ER. The plans might not have been definitive for Braun and/or Roman with Lesnar, but they were certainly leaning towards that direction for one of them to face Lesnar at the Raw PPV after ER. As far as I could see, Lesnar has been advertised for Raws leading up to that PPV and shortly thereafter.
Naw they're going to have a streak where Dean doesn't defend the IC title at Raw ppv's. Maybe they're going to just keep having Dean come out talking about how he's a fighting champion who never defends like when he was US champion? That'd be cool.
PW Insider is reporting that Tommaso Ciampa suffered a torn ACL during the Ladder Match at Takeover. No idea of the severity or when he will return. Absolutely GUTTING timing for that potentially hot feud.

Bayley suffered a right shoulder injury in her match Monday night. Some of those bumps looked pretty rough when Nia dropped her so I'm not surprised.

The former Raw Women's Champion was evaluated by medical personnel, but the official diagnosis was inconclusive due to the amount of swelling involved. Have you ever heard certain wrestlers or talent in general, usually the older generations, talk about how the more high flying style tends to lead to more injuries? I hear that more often than I want but it's strange to me because I always seem to notice it's the guys who don't wrestle that high impact, high flying style that wind up getting hurt more often. I will say, in Orton's defense, he does have some type of constant issue with his shoulder(s) that's been an issue probably since he was a kid. Enzo apparently broke his leg reversing a wrist lock. The whole "crash and burn style causes more injuries" is an exaggerated myth. But I respect why they do it, just like me as a parent telling my kids "wear a helmet". It's pretty unlikely they'll land on their head if they fall off their bike because accidents like that are far less common than hand and leg injuries on a bike, but it's a safety precaution. Just in case. How many people have been hurt by the Tombstone or Powerbomb? Very few. But they avoid those moves because they are possible high risk situations even though more people have been hurt by clotheslines than they have power moves.
