I don't really know what Scott Brown offers. As a central midfielder he's not a brilliant tackler, not a brilliant reader of the game, not a brilliant passer, he's not a big goal threat and he's prone to moments of complete stupidity like last night which have plagued his entire career. He doesn't even particularly stand out in the SPL, he's just energetic and aggressive in my view. Nothing player.

Apologies if it sounded like I'm having a dig at Celtic. To get things straight, I'm a Liverpool fan, and my old man is Celtic through and through, so I've grown up supporting both. Very Andy of me.

I love Celtic, but I cannot stand Scott Brown, he has proven himself countless times to be brainless, and every time, Lennon comes out and defends him. Circus was perhaps a bit harsh, but for a manager to come out and defend that sort of behaviour is pathetic, to try and place the blame on the blameless party is even worse. Even Joey Barton's managers know when to distance themselves from his wankery.

I saw the actual kick in real-time, and breathed a sigh of relief when the ref came over with a yellow card in hand, but he was obviously informed by one of his assistants that it was an intentional kick aimed at Neymar, and Brown got what his behaviour deserved. At this point, it would be a lot more acceptable for player and manager to come out and admit fault, instead of claiming that the ref was cheated by the opposition player, because there wasn't MUCH contact..

Not me, When everyone was having a pop at De Gea a year or so ago I said how come the media aren't saying anything about the clangers that Hart drops. Whereas De Gea has improved considerably (not the finished article) Hart has regressed even further. The fact that he is England's number one is worrying.

Looking forward to Arsenal/Dortmund tonight. I still sort of think of Dortmund as perennial outsiders and overachievers despite all their recent success, but looking at their team nowadays they SHOULD be doing as well as they are. Lewandowski, Reus, Kuba, Bender, Sahin, Hummels, Subotic, Weidenfeller...fuck me that is class. Not seen Mikhtaryan or Aubameyang properly before but obviously their pedigree suggests they should do well too.

Hopefully they stick a few past the tramps tonight so the media will stop bumfucking them for beating the same teams they beat last season when people were saying they were finished and Wenger had to go. I think I'm right in saying Arsenal's points tally this season is actually slightly down compared to the games against the same teams last year. Talk about how good Arsenal are when they've played Dortmund twice, United, Chelsea and Liverpool in the next month.

I think stylistically, Arsenal are the most Dortmund-like team we have in the Premier League, so it will be interesting to see how it goes down tonight, could be an absolute goal-fest.

Think I'll probably be watching the Celtic game on the TV, and then switch between Arsenal/Schalke/Porto games on the computer.

Arsenal/Dortmund for me, with an eye on Milan/Barca and possibly Schalke/Chelsea to have a look at Draxler and Meyer, apparently they are brilliant.

Arsenal and Dortmund are playing the best football in Europe at the moment so should be interesting. I love watching Marco Reus, he's an absolutely brilliant player and has scary pace. He'll be the next super big money move when he is ready to move on from Dortmund, I think.

He's great to watch, along with Lewandowski.

If I had to put my money on the next big money mover, I'd probably go with Gündoğan at this point.

this is brilliant from Celtic. Hope Barca maul Milan tonight.

Forrest and Lustig on the same wing is great to watch sometimes. Samaras looks so up for it and Kayal is holding really well in midfield.

Haaaa cry about it. I was honestly about to say there was great atmosphere in the stadium for once but its the.Dortmund fans, fuck me they are loud.

What formation do Arsenal play now, seems like a 4-1-4-1.

Seems like it since we conceded. Usually 4-2-3-1 but Wilshere and Ramsey are both playing further forward at the moment.

Actually I'd put as much blame on Kos as Ramsey for the first goal. Stupidly rushed towards the ball and left Mhkrhuhjddj(sp?) in acres of space.

I've enjoyed this game so far.

Haha, sorry Andy, bad timing there, but no way on Earth that was a read card.

He puts his arms up like any player would to protect himself and block the player coming from behind. No swing of the arm, never a red mate.

Hmm I don't think so. He didn't even make an attempt to jump, just stuck the arm out knowing Koscielny was behind him. Don't think it would've been a surprise to see a red. Who was calling for a red, the itv bellends?

Weird to think after Arsenal's great start to the CL, they could now be outsiders to go through seeing as there are three teams on six points and they have to go away to the other two.

Disappointing loss, we bossed that second half. Dortmund are a good team though and we're still missing Walcott, Flamini, Podolski and Cazorla (from the start anyway).

That'll do. Living dangerously at times, Cech did his thing. Dull in patches, couple of quick breaks which we're great at. Good Torres performance which is a bit of a relief after the sending off/injury just when he was starting to play well again.

That pitch made the game look like it was lagging big time.

Giggs starts for United in midfield. Moyes is getting a lot of unfair criticism from people but to keep picking that old bastard is all on him. At least Ferguson could be accused of being sentimental, Moyes has no excuse.

He'd need to get back into form first to get a move.

Nah, all he needs to do is be fit as often as he has been for Man United and Arsenal will consider it a massive boost over last time he was there.

Well this is easy. Sociedad are terrible at closing down.

Looks like Vela has discovered pies, paella and full fat gazpacho.

Even discounting his current injury situation as I think he's playing through injections at the moment. He was in pretty poor form in the second half of last season that was masked by his form in the first half although that may have may have had more to do with the whole team having nothing to play for as they went out of the champions league early and the league was pretty much over.

1-1 between Juve & Real. Pen to Real right now. Chiellini with a mad high tackle on Ramos.

    Brainless from Chiellini.

Just switched this game on, how is Bale doing? Is he even playing, I see Di Maria is on.

Bale on bench, still coming back from injury innit.

Casual first half hat trick for Zlatan.

Why is a player taking a freekick worth a yellow card? I don't know if I've seen that before.

Also quite why Rafael and Chich get in our "wall" is mental. No point in them standing there.

I'm legitimately upset that either Zlatan or Ronaldo won't be at the World Cup.

Amusing miss from Benzema and then an absolutely amazing trip from Pogba.

I think I'd rather see Ibrahimovic at the World Cup than Ronaldo at this point. Ronaldo has been unbelievably efficient over the past year but Ibra seems to be skilling it up all over the place more than ever. Absolutely obscene goals tonight and last weekend.

Not to take anything away from Zlatan at all, but Jesus Christ, imagine Ronaldo in the french league.

Ashley Young is an embarrassment. Also, Van Persie seems to miss a shitload of really simple chances. Maybe 2-3 open nets in the past few months.

It's pretty obvious too that the main difference between United this season and last is that Van Persie was scoring everything and horsing everybody this time last year and now he's passing up a lot of chances. The performances aren't massively different.

Kagawa has been excellent since playing through the middle. He links the play better and retains the ball better than Rooney, more intelligent in that position. It'd be interesting to see him playing off Rooney maybe.

We should have won that game easily. Chich got a shite bounce, RVP should have scored despite tonking the post and obviously the penalty.

An average performance from United but Sociedad were shit.
