"dingying" means to ignore someone in Scotland.

Javier Hernandez (Manchester United) out, Duvan Zapata (Unattached) in.

    1) Billy McKay (Inverness CT)
    2) Leigh Griffiths (Wolves)
    3) Niall McGinn (Aberdeen)
    4) Milan Lalkovic (Walsall)
    5) Atdhe Nuhiu (Sheffield Wednesday)

    6) Duvan Zapata (Unattached)
    7) Edinson Cavani (PSG)

I would have liked to have given Hernandez longer, but with seven man squads I have no room for someone who's basically an impact player off the bench.

Well, if he was going to go to someone, to the team who I don't have to play again for months is ideal.

Surely you'd want him to go every couple of weeks to someone you're about to play. The guy doesn't start games.

That's all well and good until it hits November and none of them can play for 3 months because their municipal pitches they play on turn into an icy bog

    Early team for week two.

    1. Britt Assombalonga (Peterborough United)
    2. Anthony Stokes (Celtic)
    5. Ryan Donnelly (Brechin City)
    6. Lee Tomlin (Peterborough United)
    8. Olivier Giroud (Arsenal)

    3. Matt Tubbs (Rotherham United)
    4. Robbie Crawford (Rangers)

Pretty pleased with that first five and one of the subs and looking at the fixtures I'm fairly confident of scoring a couple of goals (which is usually where I draw blank). Robbie Crawford was a horrific signing though. Firstly it was utterly impulsive, secondly he's shit, thirdly it cost me a chance on scoring some big goals with Billy Sharp and finally it means that I can't really bring in a player I really want for this week. Can see me making a 3.01pm transfer on Saturday.

    Jordan Rhodes (Blackburn Rovers)
    Clayton Donaldson (Brentford)
    Roberto Soldado (Tottenham)
    Robert Lewandowski (Borussia Dortmund)
    Tyrone Barnett (Peterborough)

    Bjorn Sigurdarson (Wolves)
    Jamie White (Salisbury)

SOLDADS makes his debut. Very pleased with that starting five on paper, so no doubt they will all draw blanks now. Two of my favourite players in Rhodes and Clayton who both bagged 20+ goals last year, two proven goalscorers at the highest level in Soldado and Lewandowski (although Soldado has proven nothing in the Premiership just yet of course), and in-form Fiorentorna legend Tyrone Barnett. Was disappointed to see Sigurdarson on the bench for stupid Kevin Doyle at the weekend but I still believe in him for now.

I might as well put one in too in case I forget and leave Messi on the bench:

    1. FC Collserslautern

    1 Anthony Malbon (Kidderminster Harriers)
    2 Lionel Messi (Barcelona)
    4 Craig Gunn (Elgin City)
    9 Derek Lyle (QoTS)
    10 Andy Johnson (QPR)

    7 Tom Ince (Blackpool)
    8 Jordan Brown (Peterhead)

Huge match against Torn obviously, I can't wait for Saturday.

    Neymar (FC Barcelona)
    Kris Boyd (Kilmarnock)
    Rory McAllister (Peterhead)
    John Gemmell (Stenhousemuir)
Iain Russell (Queen of the South)

    Romelu Lukaku (Chelsea)
    Farid El Alagui (Brentford)

    Tents for the weekend:

    Radamel Falcao (Monaco)
    Kevin Lisbie (Leyton Orient)
    James Vaughan (Huddersfield)
    Iago Aspas (Liverpool)
    Christian Benteke (Aston Villa)

    Jay Emmanuel Thomas (Bristol City)
    Sergio Aguero (Man City)

Got to have faith in Benteke at the Emirates. May put JET in there last minute. On fire pre-season, we're going to win 14-0.

Aren't United playing Swansea away? I'd have that as one of their ten most difficult games of the season.

I'm expecting them to roll them over quite easily to be honest, by two or three goals.

I'm hoping Cavani can get off the mark with a goal or two this weekend. He should do considering PSG are at home to AC Ajaccio, who narrowly avoided relegation last season, but we'll see. I quite fancy Griffiths and Lalkovic as well, who are both playing teams that have been leaking a lot of goals recently.

It's always a tough, close game with Dave though, who had a massive win last weekend against Torn.

I had Campbell on my list after I think it was you posting in the footy thread about how good he was. There was some rumours of going to St Mirren I think but in the end I decided against it.

Pretty easy games for Man U and Chelsea so hoping for a few from my big names.

So, Redknapp has decided not to go with Zapata, which is disappointing, and is more annoying than usual as we now have one less spot in our squads, but it was worth a gamble. It's not as if Hernandez will be playing any time soon with his hamstring.

Wasn't worth a gamble at all considering West Ham failed to get a work permit for him there was never any chance of qpr getting clearance for him.

West Ham didn't fail to get a work permit, as they never applied for one. They looked at doing so, and felt there was a small chance of obtaining one, but they never got that far and decided to look elsewhere. QPR wouldn't have bothered bringing Zapata over if he'd already failed to gain a work permit.

Yeah, I'm not getting Rosk's talk of it's my title to lose. I think Torn's got a better starting five, for starters.

I have a strong foundation of four players in Cavani, McKay, Griffiths and McGinn - if they all stay fit they're more than capable of twenty goals plus each, but my other three slots aren't that strong. Lalkovic has a lot of potential, but we'll see.

Ah, the dreaded Friday night game for Rhodes. Can be a glorious start to the weekend when one of your star players bags a few Friday night goals, but somehow feels worse going goalless on a Friday than on a normal Saturday.

Well they hired Maurice Watkins to represent them at an appeals hearing regarding Zapata because as you say they knew they would be little chance. Once they had given up it was obvious no-one in England would be able to get him otherwise he'd be a West Ham.

More fool Redknapp and Qpr and Jayventus.

I'll finish fourth. I always finish fourth.

Given the goals my team scored last year, I should have won or at least come second, but it just doesn't always work out like that with this game.

Some big games today. Happy Liverpool are playing early so I can see well in advance if Aspas is starting and up front against a gash Stoke side. Andy has eighty Scottish players so hoping there's a sudden freeze up there or they are still drunk from the celebrations of almost drawing with England.

He's an absolute gem mate, he seems to have that ability to just be in the right place, but as he started out as a winger he can go past people and has pace to burn off defenders.

He'll end up at St. Mirren after Carlisle probably, he's gone for a month in case we don't get another striker in but as long as we do they'll ship him out for the season to get experience and St. Mirren seem to be our side of choice after they handled the loan lads so well last year.

Tough choice to make. RVP in the late game, all of my conference players at home and starting, Deeney and Lambert away in their respective fixtures. Despite scoring midweek, I have dropped brown to the bench because after the grand sum of TWO GAMES, Nuneaton are playing the league leaders.

Complete and utter panic signing. I didn't check my players until 2:55pm, thinking everything would be alright. I wanted to sign David Ball, he was the one player to spring to mind, but I didn't realise he was signed last weekend. The only other player I could think of at the last minute was Westcarr. Let's see what happens.

Just for once it would be nice to go ten minutes before conceding a goal. Same shit as last season.

I don't know if I can another season where I'm bitching and moaning lads, this is truly fucking shit. Hey new lads how about you actually do YOUR jobs and score some goals rather than set them up, arseholes.
