if shit happens with gronk, i wanna replace him with fells.
and for bench ranking in case of replacement needs, I'd go cooks, gore and cook.
Dick City ay @Matthew

Rebranding pays immediate dividends.
i give wins to the extremely needy like a good person
Dick City again hey @Matthew

dick city will rise again...
4-4. My team stinks but if I can make the playoffs, and if Michael Thomas comes off IR, I am hopeful I could make a run on the strength of Henry/Thomas/Watson.
BREAKING NEWS:
Bench porn running rampant.
Zack Moss on the trading block for any interested?
@Matthew I know you don't trade often, but seems like Moss has taken over that prime opportunities from Singletary. I'm looking for some WR depth if you're interested.

For the record: the trade that was vetoed this weekend (Mahomes and Conner for Evans and CMac) was requested to be cancelled by the trading parties. One of them thought it would be pushed through this week before the games, the other thought it would go through after this week. Both of them agreed to cancel it and it was cancelled using veto voting (not a commissioner's override, although I would have used a commissioner veto if needed).
I am voting to veto the newest trade which is Russell Wilson for Gaskin and Tannehill, primary due to the player Chris Scott is dropping as part of this trade. If the trade goes through, he is dropping Cooper Kupp who will hit the waiver wire. The trade itself is moderately suspect, but dropping Kupp is wild. Kupp is 99% owned and easily a top 20 WR.
I will not be placing a commissioner veto on this, and most people in the chat say it's fine, but I am in favor of vetoing it.
I have spoken. Vote as you see fit. And if Kupp hits the waiver wire, may the person with the most dollars left win his service.
well now the above trade was vetoed (by request of the trading teams) and they re-did it to include Kupp and Jamaal Williams and Moss. So disregard what I said above, and vote on the new trade as you see fit.
Glad you understand Fro
28th in pos rank and points according to our own scoring
there was never a reason to bully them into vetoing the first trade, and vetoing the second trade was inane. At least they eventually got something down ppl didn’t cry over. It’s why we should look at the veto numbers in the offseason.
Also, I want my fucking kickers back next year.
Vetoing a trade cos of someone being dropped is stupid as fuck
As are kickers.
commissioner veto only. I know what's best for the health of the league. many of you use your veto votes wildly, one way or the other.
I respect the viewpoint of never vetoing unless there's collusion, but if someone trades patrick mahomes for n'keal harry then you need to veto it, despite the trader's best intentions.
LOL
Nah I'm just kidding though. Commish veto only would cause a revolt. I personally think the veto voting system is working fairly well. We can talk about moving it back to where we had it before (5 votes needed instead of 4), and generally have a talk about what is the criteria people use for it (though we will likely always have differing viewpoints). This season has been WILD for us in terms of trades, and there have been a few vetoes. The anti-veto crowd is not liking that, and Beefy went full grudge and started voting veto on every trade out of spite. That is not ideal when it only takes 4. We voted to move to threshold to 4 votes a few years back when we had a dispute over a trade that wasn't vetoed.
What can ya do.
I would say 4 is a good number, as long as people aren't abusing it by voting veto on almost all trades (not just referring to Beefy here, I think I've seen some other veto votes placed on very reasonable trades and I don't know why). But if the majority wants it back up to 5, well, I am a commissioner of the people as you know.
It's been a fucking disaster mate. Explain to anyone in any other Fantasy League you want to find about the use of vetoes in this league and they'd think it's absolutely outrageous.
Increase the number of votes to something like eight to catch the obvious cases of collusion or cheating or do Commissioner only under strict guidance set down by the League. It can't carry it the way it has been this year which has been absolutely ridiculous.
I hear you. Of the 3 trades vetoed this year, there is one that I felt was really unnecessary. The other two I was okay with but I understand your sentiment.
The other side of the coin to your position, in my view, is that if someone makes a trade that is clearly lopsided, let's say because one of the teams likes to roster the players from his favorite team, and the benefactor of that trade gets 2 starting caliber players for 2 bench players, then that also makes people feel ridiculous. Ridiculous that you can pay your money and scratch and claw to have a good roster, and then that other team becomes a championship contender and defeats you in the playoffs because of that lopsided trade. That's not fun either.
Also, while I know you weren't happy that Evans/Montgomery for Watkins/Howard got vetoed, that was a pretty reasonable veto given the current rules of the league, and you vetoing every trade for the rest of the year didn't help. I wonder if the Rojo/Lazard for Diggs trade would have reached 4 votes without yours.
These are just my thoughts. I'm not opposed to a policy change if the majority want an anything-goes policy.
What’s been the trades that have been vetoed so far this season?
Was that 2nd one mine too?
1st I know was terrible, I was going along really that JH was having a big year for us. Absolutely nothing wrong with that 3rd one.
how many have i voted veto on? pretty sure im the one who started all the shit trade and veto drama, so considering that, i dont think ive vetoed nearly anything this year, even with all this insane movement.
