Sorry I may have already had taken my ambien when I posted that and have little recollection of posting it (pulled a Roseanne). Anyway venmo is similar service to PayPal which became very popular and then was in fact purchased by PayPal. It basically functions the same but many people prefer it for some reason.

I have now learned that the reason mine comes through as a pledge is becsuse you can't contribute to your own money pool. I guess that makes sense since I would just be collecting money from myself. Therefore when people pay me via venmo I can't add it to the pool, but I will track it on here so you guys know who paid.
One last thing I know I said PayPal/venmo have no fees but I can't say that with 100% certainty when it comes to international payments and conversion of currency type. There might be a fee. Check that out for yourself when you go to pay, and pay me in another way if you prefer.

Proposal: Missed XP = -10 for kickers. One of the leagues I am in has a few rules like this that can really fuck up your weekend and make you miserable. And I think increasing the misery for some teams only increases the enjoyment of the others.
11 times out of 12, you are the hammer, laughing at another member of your league for losing by only 6 pts after his kicker missed an XP. But in another instance, you may be the nail. Up by 7 during a mnf game and your opponent has 0 players left. You have the matchup secured. But then your kicker misses an xp in the 4th quarter and you feel so sick to your stomach you call out sick from work the next morning.
10 seems a bit OP. Five might be fun
I'm not in favor of something so extreme especially since XPs are now a 32 yard attempt or whatever, and a good number of misses happen. I would be in favor of subtracting 1 point for missed XP, and also removing the -1 if it's a 50+ yard attempt.

Good to know. If there is a better way for the international folks to get money to me, let me know (for next year, or for the folks who haven't paid yet this year). And we can go back to LeagueSafe next year if that is preferable.
LeagueSafe's fee, at least for me (again maybe different for international), was 4% which was $2 on a $50 payment, and then I think another small fee when getting paid out at the end.
US folks should be able to transfer money to me via paypal or venmo with no fees if you have an account linked to your bank account (I believe).

I do think there should be a penalty for a miss, just not for 50 yard attempts. It bugs me if your guy attempts a 60 yarder before halftime and you get -1 just because they took a shot at it.

I kinda hate kickers so anything to make them less annoying is good.
Not overly sure how to change my valuation of players in 0.5 PPR. Never done it before.
yea it helps that the stats on our league site get updated to the current rule settings so the players tab and each player's game-by-game scoring all adjust to the tweaked rules. overall though I don't think it changes a ton when it comes to WR vs RB, I think it just slightly devalues QBs and RBs who don't catch.

I just did my first mock @ #2 and I was relatively happy with the outcome. While I get shafted on the 1-2 swing, the 2-3 swing yields some decent options. I want to do a couple more. But I think I may stick with the spot.
I'll do some mocks at #11 too. For drafting that late in the 1st, I just really like the idea of potentially getting one of OBJ/Julio/Hopkins *and* one of Gordon/Fournette/Barkley/etc. Or maybe even doubling up on WR too. Some big play options there.
I think that sounds like an excellent result for a superb pick at 11 and highly encourage you to try it for real in our live draft
