Just based on the initial feedback and quick responses, it’s fair to assume we probably could do away with kickers next season and everyone would be happier.
As for replacing the spot, if we have to, if love to see a 2nd flex or a 3rd WR. Since we moved to half PPR, a 3rd WR could be fun and make them a little more even in value with RB’s. In a 3 WR league guys like Hopkins, Thomas, Evans, etc. tend to knock some of the RB’s out of the first round. It’s fun.

I’m happy for kickers to be taken out.

Removing kickers and adding another flex spot are completely unrelated issues. No need to conjoin them as if we need to "replace" the kicker.

I'm okay with adding another flex spot if the majority wants it. The downside, in my opinion, is that extra spot weakens the waiver/free agent pool by 12 players. Waiver pickups will get scarcer because 12 more flex players will be on rosters. And we wouldn't want to remove a bench spot to counteract it, I don't think, or else it becomes tricky to fill your roster when bye weeks are in full flex. (Although that's something to consider).
But the upside is we often have good players sitting on our bench and we can get them in action. It rewards teams with a depth of good players.

I'm all for an extra flex player in a 10 team league where there is a wealth of players to go around (VIP league take note). In a 12 team league, I'm on the fence about it.

It would definitely make things trickier from a wire perspective.
I'd rank my preference for the extra spot to be:
- extra bench spot
- superflex (anyone in the flex - including QBs. There's enough and then strategy really comes into play.)
- get rid of the spot all together
- extra flex
