Not sure if anyone watches DC's Legends of Tomorrow but the latest episode (s06e12) featured most of the crew playing a live action mafia game that with a little bit of magic became real.
Pretty fun episode. It's got a bit of storyline in it from previous episodes but nothing big that you need to really know to enjoy the episode.
I'm a few episodes behind on Legends. Now, I'm going to have to hurry to catch up.

I watched some Halloween for fiction fight and that turned into Friday the 13th which in turn led to Nightmare On Elm St. viewing.
No one's said much about running one so I think that's what I'll do next since it's that time of year.
Going to pick up after the original Halloween, original Nightmare and after Friday Part III I think. I want Jason in a hockey mask so at least by then but could change.

Yes. Well not to dive into it too much was going to involve Laurie Strode but still wanted her semi young. The first Nightmare's story took place in 81 with the 2nd taking place 5 years later in 86. I wanted my story to take place after Jason gets his hockey mask which is in early 80s so going with 1986 which is a few years after Friday Part III.
So Dream Warriors technically will not have happened and I'm giving Nancy Thompson a slight story redo. Was still thinking of including Dream Warrior Kristen Parker but the last few days I've been mostly hammering out a story that will coincide with some of the original movies. If Parker makes it in it'll be a clean slate type of thing for her story.
There is a lot of interesting dynamics when you got Freddy's dream world to tap into. I look forward to you reeking havoc on everyone's mind.

And then Cobra Kai, which will have a heavy recruiting mechanic between two factions (Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai).
I remember as a kid we'd always go to my grandparents house every Sunday. My grandpa, who never read the comics, would not allow anyone to read any part of the paper until he was done. He'd read that sumbitch for hours and if you didn't stick around until he was done he always trashed it knowing full well there was a few of us wanting to read the comics. It was hard to get comics back then. You'd even get excited when Highlights came out, so you could read the adventures of Goofus and Gallant.
Calvin and Hobbs was good but Garfield was my main cat. Beetle Bailey, Hagar the Horrible, Mother Goose and Grimm and one more than was always under Grimm but can't remember the title.
Definitely liked Far Side and Peanuts but those were always after the other strips.

Had also thought about a basic combat system for night kills in Cobra Kai. Basically you have defense and offense points, everyone recruited can apply offensive or defensive points. Night write-ups would be a little non-standard

I think Garfield over Calvin for me. Mainly because Calvin came a lot later in the paper and Garfield had years over him. I owned several graphic novels of both though. It's a shame we will never get a Calvin and hobbes movie of any sort.

Nah, as a kid I just had years of Garfield before I was introduced to C&H. Garfield was just ingrained as my go to at that point. I mean sometimes, very rarely, once in a blue moon, when hell froze over, the cardinals are better than the Cubs but that doesn't mean I should like them more because they stink and are from the city of skank.
