that mania crowd were mostly smarks from twitter. Once normal fans are back, he'll be cheered again. Hogan got a huge pop at the mania in new york and I was in that crowd.
Never got to see Hogan live in any capacity. I went to WrestleMania 11 but he was in WCW by that point. Late 90s house shows and RAWs/Smackdowns he was also in WCW. I went to WrestleMania 20 but sadly no Hogan, but he was at 19 and 21. So irked by that. Last mania I went to was 29 in NY. I've been going to every 9th WrestleMania apparently, so means I will have to go next year!

I disagree with that. Hogan never sold. His promos were only in his style, and we need wrestlers not try to be copies of him. I agree that he did help establish a character, both heel and face, but it's easy to be successful when you've got the biggest undeserved push in the history of the business.

I'm watching the original ECW and I keep thinking damn, imagine if they had today's technology. Imagine if they didn't have to rely on working within the same system as WCW and WWF back in the 90's and how hard that was for them financially.
The level he has gone to shaking his fist at Hulk Hogan and the WWE over the guy using the N word while being secretly filmed should be applauded. To me it feels like he's trying to constantly shift focus from his own personal guilt. Hulk Hogan was a hero to most.

CazXL (aka Big Cass) was on with Chris Van Vliet, and talked about a lot including his alcohol addiction and his road to recovery. He sounded clean and focussed, and not at all bitter about why he deserved to get fired from WWE, and his alcohol withdrawal seizures. Maybe he's actually growing the hell up. The one big concern I had was that he still was putting his friend nZo (aka Enzo Amore) over.
If he is in fact cleaned up, I wish him well. CVV thinks we may see him back on TV before the end of the year.

They should have never split them up. It wasn't the time. Rushing shit because the writers weren't talented enough to come up with something better.
Yeah, that immediately killed all the momentum they had. They were among the most over people at the time when there wasn't much to be over about and... why, they thought splitting them up was a good idea we'll never know. But I mean, the two didn't really like each other which may have been a factor? It's just a shame Cass had issues going on up top and Enzo was such a nuisance backstage.
They’re both sounding way more leve-headed these days. Would love to see them get another shot in the WWE. They were fucking over and Enzo turned everything to gold. I still laugh at “Gabagulak””
Like @Donald said, Enzo is guilty of being annoying as hell. He was nothing without Big Cass, other than he had terrific mic skills. I will concede one skill he had in the ring was his selling ability, but his offense always looked like shit. He could come in and play the face-in-peril until the hot tag, but it made Big Cass look SAWFT as in "why is he hanging around this guy?" He gave off that x-pac vibe of someone who's mouth would write checks their ass couldn't cash.
Kudos to DDP for his aid, helping to get Big Cass clean, sober, and motivated for this next step in his life.
I'd welcome back Big Cass, didn't love him or anything, but I remember getting excited when they inserted him into the match for the Universal Title a few years back. Plus I love a good redemption story.
Enzo though, hope he never returns. One of two wrestlers I really despised watching, but at least HHH had cool entrance music.

I watched the first episode after the Stone Cold biography on Sunday. It's pretty good. A little spoiler but one guy gets a tour of the warehouse in order to give something up so it was nice that we also got to see at least a little bit of the warehouse. I think it's about an hour and there's worse things to watch for an hour. I plan to watch episode 2 this Sunday and the biography about Rowdy Roddy Piper before it. The Stone Cold bio was good but I feel like I knew a lot of it already, I don't know much about Piper.
