This is right, though surely he must have still had some of his old tights about unless they didn't fit anymore. He didn't really look any different in size though.
He was easily 20-30lbs lighter than the last time we saw him. Remember...It had been about 4 1/2 years since Mania 14. He was about 230-235lbs at the time. So he's not working out the same, not eating the same, he was probably 215 if that when he returned. So yeah I don't think he just had a bunch of old tights he could throw on.
He wanted to change up his look and was having the new tights made but they weren't ready in time. They would've had more hearts on the legs apparently. Anyway I guess they'd still have been brown so idk
Shawn was way smaller upon return for sure. I don't remember if it was in an interview or in his book, he talks about not wanting to put muscle back on because he was getting older and he preferred how much more easily he could move around at that size.
I always liked the smaller Shawn because it made Hunter look bigger, so when they had their feud, Triple H was just this roidy magoo and Shawn had to work more like a wily veteran. Made for some great psychology in those matches.
Shawn also said how he didn't feel like HBK and so he didn't want to wear his old gear right off the bat. Don't know if it was a interview or maybe his book.
I did not mind the brown pants that Shawn wore.

I think Cameo has maybe all but killed the autograph signing industry. Why bother travelling miles and miles to get a photo or piece of paper signed when you can just pay and get a virtual personalised message with celebs these days.
Well autograph signings are probably cheaper than most Cameos since the in person ones are usually at conventions with lots of people already there. That could vary depending what someone charges though.
I do mine through the mail. It’s pretty cool and it only costs me a couple of stamps and a trading card or two. It makes going to the mailbox a little less of a chore.
In non-Covid times there are a few conventions near me. Some of the old baseball players, guys who weren’t ever superstars, they charge a shit ton for a signed card - never mind a bat or jersey or something.
