I mean right now the main 3 matches have some depth. Cain/Brock is a 10 year story. Fiend v. Rollins has been going on for a little over a month or two. Fury-Strowman yeah we've only had a few weeks of them but shit that's longer than most WM matches have to build up.
Now when we start looking at stuff from the past like Taker v. Goldberg or DX v. Bro of Destruction, the builds are a little spread out.

Ideally they would like change like most other people so they can make even more money by showing off their female performers and also pay and keep these performers happy. If they could they would. However the main reason they are in it is for the money which is why they are in the agreement so they go along with it in order to expand their brand and make more money. Realistically, they can’t turn back years-old politics or change laws in the country with these shows by themselves.

How many times do champions lose on WWE TV? Was spinning through Smackdown last night and both The Revival and Shinsuke taking pins. Titles have never seemed weaker and that's really, really saying something.

Was watching a DVD of Samoa Joe's first ROH World Title reign last night and I had forgotten just how good he was. And so very agile! Not to say he isn't good now, but he really was in his prime from 2002 to about 2007. Maybe later. I think he lost his passion soon after that in TNA for a bit and I stopped watching.
I always loved his first year in TNA against Styles, Daniels and then later Angle. But he had great matches in ROH in that run against Styles, Daniels, Homicide, Dan Maff, BJ Whitmer, both Briscoes and others. I finished the first DVD last night, which takes you to the end the 2003 and Final Battle against Mark Briscoe. When Spurs go behind tonight after about 40 seconds, I may well put on part 2 and see what 2004 was like. Guessing the DVD runs up to Final Battle, where he finally lost the belt to Austin Aries. Though I assume that match isn't on there, I do have Final Battle 2004, so.
Reason I was doing this was because I was going to try and shift some of my rare ROH titles to raise some much needed Christmas funds. Didn't expect to enjoy that DVD as much as I did though and said DVDs won't raise much anyway, I imagine...

You're not wrong about the smile. I totally get why they would want to market that. That's something that stood out to me since way back when he made his first ROH debut. It's the fact they had to go with the red lips that kills it for me.
I'm not even arguing for who's in the right for how this all went down. Just the general fact that WWE corporate either A) Didn't realize the problem with the design or B) Intentionally went with a sambo styling of lips is awful. Even if it was just an ignorant attempt to capitalize on his smile and make something similar to the Rolling Stones logo, it's pretty bad that the idea was ever approved in any capacity.
It's coming across as a major series of miscommunications and he's not doing himself any favors along the way.

If he felt it was a legitimate injustice, it's better to make these things known than effectively sweep it under the rug.
Again, though, that implies that it was a deliberate attempt to sambo-ize. If it wasn't, I think it's a moment of education that is better served behind closed doors, unless he's been experiencing consistently blatant racism in the company.
once i first heard there was some controversy and saw the shirt, i knew what the 'problem' is without having to read his complaints, but if i didn't know someone was upset about it beforehand and saw the shirt, i don't think the association with 'blackface' would have crossed my mind. once your mind is primed for it it's easy to see.
It's a bit surprising because wrestlers in WWE are rarely vocal about this sort of thing. They post on social media in character all the time and pick fights, but this is something different. People tend to be quiet about anything that's bothering them until they leave the company, then they let loose.
His twitter account looks like an attempt to burn down every professional relationship the man has made in the business, but I really wish this wasn't the case. Open dialogue from people of different backgrounds could lead to some seriously good change for wrestling as a whole. I think he went too far off the deep end, but I think having a pro wrestling union would help to have more frank discussions between the management and their "independent contractors".
My reaction to this isn't what I'd have expected it to be. From the conflicting timelines, some of Jordan's statements lacking accuracy or omitting important information, his offering of the email which didn't actually prove anything and use of language (especially on the first day) really don't lead me to believe this is on the up and up.
It’s weird, because Myles has every good reason to be pissed about that shirt. But he’s so inconsistent in who, what, when, and how the whole thing came together, that it’s hurting his legitimacy a little bit. It’s hard to get that outraged when the source of the outrage keeps getting confused about why he’s angry.

We normally don't get a lot of trick-or-treaters in our area, and with the rain/wind last night, coupled with a couple houses in the street being vacant as folks have moved, I didn't expect many.

Then as I told them to take two treats each, since I loved wrestling, the little brother said "Daddy is dressed up too" so I looked at the heavy set guy waiting with their dog, in the back close to our driveway - he had on a faux tuxedo tee shirt, and the little girl says "He's MISTER BOOTYWORTH!"
