I'd like to throw early on Sunday the 22nd out there as a draft time. I go into work late that day (1:00 pm PST) and having it a few hours before that could be easier on all the different time zones we have.
Good for me, usually, I'm fine for these things but towards the end of March and beginning of April I've got a few things on. So this date would be pretty handy.
weekends are all free for me now, so anytime from friday nght through sunday night is fine with me.

considering neither have chimed in and neither have been particularly active in this thread anyway, i'd go ahead and say they aren't in. if they wish to dispute that, wonderful, but just like with the football league, i'm over chasing people down to ask if they're still in, etc. if they were active and cared to be in, they would've found their way to this thread to say SOMETHING by now. going and asking them if they want in, they could end up just agreeing to it out of habit or something as opposed to an actual desire to participate.

Shoot. My schedule is FUBAR on that Sunday (I work 1:00 PST until god knows when) as I have to stay with the floor crew. I would say we could draft sometime during that as I'll just be sort of wandering around at work alone after 5:00 PST, but I'll need to be moving around and would be in and out of the draft.

Nothing happened to it on my end. Time just didn't work for Hitty. If we're a couple hours before that 1:00 time, it seems to work for everyone else but I'd hate to have one of our most active players on auto-draft.
Really, I could go as early as everyone needed that day. It would give us plenty of time that day so we can look at teams and think about trades. I may trade my waiver claim for Justin. Not sure yet.

Someone is missing the draft regardless of what we do here lets be honest. Mania and then the next sunday being opening day has kind of made it awkward.

you can't manage to show up to the forums every so often to make a pick over the course of 2 weeks? at least this gives everybody a fair shot to 'make' the draft. cramming it into a specific hour or two on a specific day is apparently going to alienate at least one, likely more, person from participating at all in the draft.
as for people flaking or holding up the picks, we could choose/agree upon a rankings list(whether that be ESPN, yahoo, what the fuck ever) and set some kind of extended clock, and if someone misses their pick we just autodraft the highest available player from the list we've chosen. obviously there is some kinks that need working out, though.
I can't guarantee that I can. I have a sick kid and a pregnant wife, so my time isn't necessarily mine right now. I usually manage to get on here after work, but if my pick isn't up by 5 or 6 I can't guarantee that I'm gonna see it that day.
I can set my draft for auto draft, really isn't a problem for me.

As far as I know, the ESPN app doesn't have draft capability....but I am running a mock draft with the Android Flash Player and Firefox app.
the fantasy football app had draft capability, as that's how i ended up doing that draft this past year. don't see why the baseball app would be different.

Same, just about to do my 3rd mock draft and still can't get a feel for anything. All I know is no closers until at least after the 10th round, which I do every single year, so yeah, I've not got a clue this year. I think I would like to be at the bottom of the draft though.
