harper isn't going to miss an additional month on an under-performing season where the MLB has thought about suspending him. he's on pace for career lows in homers and steals and is hitting the DL for the first time ever. and a notch or two below kershaw? the only stat they're even close in is wins and losses, otherwise kershaw is blowing grienke out of the water. lowest ERA in the NL and cy young candidate.

It is killing me how my team has choked on 3 Sundays in a row. I was up 8-2 coming into Sunday and wound up 5-5. Impossible to pull away from Atty and hitty with everyone taking the last day off.

This. In a lot of ways this was more fun than the past couple years where I plowed into the playoffs and there was no real doubt. It was helped by having a couple teams with ridiculous records, but having a situation where 3-4 teams are RIGHT THERE for the final spot was so much fun. Kind of hate getting in while tied with Fro. I mean, I love it, but I kind of feel like it was a Private Ryan "EARN THIS!" moment and that I have to win now.
Yeah, last year I couldn't have cared less about who won while I stewed in last, but now I'm actively rooting for Atty as the winner of the the race for the last spot.
