You couldn't invite me to the club (I've been a member before but I play for a few teams) presumably because you aren't very clever.
You couldn't seemingly make a new club either, so I was online ready to play having made a new club within 6 minutes of you asking to play. You then vanished.

I qualified for the Ultimate Team weekend league for the first time. It took me a few attempts but I was determined to do it. Now I have to sweat the game for the next 3 days in order to get my 40 games in. It feels like a full-time job.
what's the benefit?
You have 40 games and you move up a rank each time you hit a certain number of wins. Each rank gets a prize at the end of it. So someone who wins like 15 games will get 30,000 coins and a couple of packs or something like that. It's quite lucrative.
There's a leaderboard of where you are in the World as well. SheltonLondon is quite good at it.
I still cannot get into FUT. I tried for the second year, it feels like a chore.
I quite like building up my initial team which is easy because they give you bonuses early on for each match you play. Once you have a passable team and the bonuses run out then it can be quite difficult to upgrade your team to the next level. This Weekend League should help that but you're right that it feels like a chore and you're coming up against the same cheat players time and time again or players like Aguero who are seriously overpowered and you never have a chance of being able to afford.
My game was against a 0.5/5 star CPU team and it was a cakewalk. Didn't see the appeal in another 10 of those.
Noone plays single player. Just play it online.
I'll be up for any sort of game from about 5 onwards. Won't have a mic yet though unlucky ladies.

Just played my first ever game of clubs. Absolute torture with everybody in the team having a ping every time they get the ball. Hope the rajah boys have a bit more discipline and team spirit.

Lads is there a community mode this year? I know there was one a few games back but I can't find it.
You can track results against other players in online friendlies but I don't know if there's one for offline games.
