And also there are ways to easily ensure the system isn't abused by people who aren't committed to the game. Doing the result on the Sunday, having to post the instructions on the Friday for example. If everyone hates the idea, fine. It would just make my life a lot easier over the next month or so.

He scored again tonight, if he is going to be stealing Longworth's goals then it may as well be for 1. FC

Do you work in a prison or something? If not I see no reason why it should be an issue. Just say you are going for a really big shit at 10 to 3, hop on the sporting life website, check who is playing and post your team. And then make sure to say "I wouldnt go in there for a while if i was you" to whoever you are working with to keep the charade up.

Quite simply we will never ever have auto subs. It ruins the whole premise of the game and if we were to start it we may as well just play newspaper fantasy football games where we all pick the same teams.

Ok no problem. I will likely either be in the car or in a meeting at that time in the afternoon, that's the problem.

I suppose Messi and Aguero will rarely have Saturday 3pm games so hopefully I can get away with checking three or four players.

Another two goals for Stuart Fleetwood tonight. How did he not get picked during the draft? I reckon he'll outscore BCWROGS number one domestic player Jon Shaw.

Once things settle down he'll be fourth choice striker there. He'll barely get a game.

That's partly why I wanted him; to fill the void Jamie Longworth has left in my heart.

Nah. They need someone who will score goals. Shaw is merely a lower league journeyman and Rendell has never been prolific, whereas Fleetwood won the BSP Golden Boot in half a season a couple of years back.

He needed a good start to the season to justify being given a run, and three goals in the first two games will ensure that.

    Exciting times.

I fucked up and thought he had been drafted. Then I seen him get picked up after the draft and nearly had a shit on my chair.

It might be only a minute or two extra but I don't think anyone has ever managed to get the results done in under an hour before and that's already much too long.

I'd go easy on the talking smack. I spent at least 3 seasons doing the great escape in the final ten games of the year before last year when I did alright and now Beefy is rating my chances the same as him. One year I drafted Justin Richards first and promised he'd score 20...I had 9 points at the halfway stage. What's worse is da_man made similar assertions about doing well and only had 6 points.

    24 - Liam Hearn

I had Aguero higher than Rooney, Rhodes not on the list and someone with the surname Gray in my top 10. I think.

    Can't find my sheet anymore.

Shaw will be their main striker and will score their most goals. Rendell is playing as a link man between Shaw and the midfield. It's Fleetwood or Andre Gray for the final spot.

If you're so sure he's going to bang in the goals why change him? Im really annoyed with his treatment and now he's ended up with mentally unstable BBF. Who I hear watched him in the showers yesterday. He's unsettled and wants back to the one manager in this game who loved him #headsgone

Calling someone Carl Cort is a compliment.

I remember that deal happened and I was on XBOX LIVE FIFA CLUBS with Alex and he was all like "shhhh keep quiet" because we both thought swapping Shaw for Holt was insane.

That didn't work out as expected.

In news that will shock absolutely no one because it's news that fucks me over, Martin Boyle has signed with Dundee. Forgetting the fact it's a jump from the 3rd division to the SPL I particularly like that fact this transfer is done after the swap draft, good stuff.

The bookies knew about this move a couple of days ago hence your 50/1 title odds.

    Somehow the Bookies always knows

I'm not entirely sure if it was last year or the year before that but I'm sure this is second time (might even be third) that my first round pick is fucked before the season even starts.

    Tentative:

    Jermaine Beckford (Leicester)
    Jon Daly (Dundee United)
    Andy Keogh (Millwall)
    Mathias Pogba (Crewe)
    Lee Miller (Carlisle)

    Ryan Donnelly (Airdrie)

    Fernando Llorente (Unattached)

    In other news...

Crewe Alexandra summer signing Mathias Pogba is confident he will be able to maintain his scoring form throughout the new season.

Striker Pogba, 21, joined the Alex from Wrexham in July and has since found the net 10 times in 11 games, including twice against Hartlepool on Saturday.

"Since I was young, I was always hungry to score goals," Pogba told BBC Radio Stoke.

"I'm hungry to do well for the team. So I will be like this all season."

    GO ON POGBA YOU BASTARD.

Sunderland have signed Saha, does that mean Fletcher is staying at Wolves? That's highly gay if that's the case. Turning down £13m for him is mental.

You must have put a lot on for the odds to drop like that.

I doubt he'll hit double-figures in the league. tbh.

Pfft, he'll be in double figures by the end of September.

I wouldn't bet on him at 7/1 though, that's a ridiculously low price. As is Shaw at 8/1 and Rendell at 22/1 (Skybet)

50/1 seems fair enough. You didn't win.

Alex had a shocker. He had a genuinely decent starting squad.
