I plan on saving some money and just buying the tapes in TNA's library that have Scott Steiner promos on them.

So they're $3.4 million in debt to just about everybody.

I honestly thought it would be more.

Yeah I was hoping for a way larger number. Apparently Vince could payoff TNA with what could be found in his couch cushions.

On the other hand, the fact that it is a relatively (3.4 million still isn't exactly chump-change) low amount just shows how utterly incompetent Dixie is.

I feel pretty confident that if you bought the TNA library for 3 millon, you could profit that back in a few years just from the dvd sales.

I wonder how much money Vince has made off of the old WCW stuff. For 10 million, he clearly got a good return for it.

I disagree. They really don't have enough true stars to get much. Sting, AJ, Joe and definitely Angle.

It seems like a WWE executive was quoted about a year or two after the acquisition that WWE had already more than made back what they spent for WCW.

The longer this goes on, the more I'm convinced that TNA's not going anywhere. This company is the cockroach of the pro wrestling industry: while not thriving by any means, they've managed to survive crap that would've killed almost any other company.

All those people that might become free agents.

I can't imagine the interest will be mutual with a great lot of them. The Hardys work a limited schedule and basically are the show in TNA. Will they get that in WWE? Seems unlikely. Maria and the Bellas have heat, but has there ever been any reasoning behind it? Legit reason? Did Maria mess around with Danny or John? Was she shit talking? Would they bring her in to replace or join up with Eva Marie? Lashley? He was basically a failed project in the WWE the first time around. Is there any interest with Lashley/Lesnar? Lashley/Goldberg? Lashley/Reigns? Lashley/Cena? I can't imagine.

Lashley won't go to WWE because I imagine WWE wouldn't let him do MMA on the side.

DJZ and The Miracle came out with no music. Everyone else had music. How you don't have the proper licensing for the music is mind baffling.

Considering Lashley thinks he vs. Lesnar would draw crazy money, yes I do think he think's he's Brock Lesnar.

So according to the Dave (yadda-yadda grain of salt) if TNA can make it to January, then their India TV deal will be able to pay off the vast majority of their debts. However, that will leave them without a budget for 2017.

The WWE are all about content for their channel and possibly DVDs, They would get a load of content if they brought all the TNA library and they would obviously use Aries, Joe, AJ, Roode stuff plus Sting and Angle stuff would interest them. Vince would own virtually all Angle's matches so would be in a very strong position to negotiate any DVD release deal.

I'm sure the WWE are playing a watching brief and are looking to get best deal possible if they do pounce as they could buy TNA at an instant if they wanted. I almost wonder if WWE would ideally like to get the video library but someone else buys the company and keeps it running, if nothing else it would give the WWE a continuing talent pool they could sign people from if needed and it puts guys on TV.

They could literally do a 3-disc of just Kurt Angle v. Samoa Joe and AJ Styles and I'd be content with that lol. I guess you could throw in the Shawn Michaels matches and the Brock match from WM 19. But seriously, I think Angle might have had his best matches in TNA. I don't know though, what do people consider Angle's best match? My favorite of his will always be the Lockdown match with Samoa Joe but was it his best?

Maybe interesting: Aron Rex has changed his twitter handle from AronRexTNA to AronThoughts.

Could he already be on the outs with TNA? Tsk tsk

Anthem Statement on Investment in TNA Impact Wrestling

    Toronto –

Anthem Sports & Entertainment Corp. ("Anthem"), the parent company of Fight Network, today confirmed that it recently made a working capital loan to fund the operations of TNA Impact Wrestling. Fight Network is a licensee of TNA programming for broadcast in the U.S., Canada and other international markets, and is also the exclusive licensee of TNA for streaming Internet-delivered TV.

Fight Network has also offered to provide TNA Impact Wrestling with funding to repay the loans made by Mr. Billy Corgan and is positioned to provide additional transitional assistance to the company.

"TNA is a strong property for Fight Network and as a licensee and global distribution partner we have a keen interest in seeing the company not only survive but continue to grow and thrive, alongside our own growth," said Leonard Asper, CEO of Anthem. "We are hopeful that the company can soon get back to doing what it does best, which is to produce great wrestling content."

Looks like there is at least one party still interested in keeping TNA afloat.

    Of course there is.

    Why the fuck not?

I think everyone involved wants TNA, in whatever form and/or name, to stay alive

I think almost everyone involved wants to get rid of Dixie.

I want them to stay alive because I like having all these options available to wet my palette. Plus, I'm pretty sure as talented as some of the roster is, they'd get lost in the shuffle anywhere they go, aside from the Hardys, who I'm sure may not actually be allowed to be the Broken and Obsolete if they went back to the WWE.

Why? Why won't it just die? Why will it live forever? What have we done to deserve this?

Dixie will be 95 but with enough plastic surgery to still look 60 coming to the ring as the head honcho to main event storylines. Most of rajah posters say they would still hit it.

    Court documents have been unsealed.

Court documents in Billy Corgan's lawsuit against TNA and others were unsealed today. One such document, a temporary restraining order against the defendants (TNA, TNA's parent company Impact Ventures LLC, Dixie Carter, her husband Serg Salinas, and TNA Chief Financial Officer Dean Broadhead), revealed that Corgan claims that Impact Ventures is "insolvent."

In part, the order provides that Corgan "is likely to prevail on the merits of its claims because Impact Ventures LLC is insolvent, and, as a result, plaintiff is entitled to exercise controlling voting rights in the company."
Also, the order dictates that TNA and Impact Ventures are prohibited from taking any action without Corgan's consent. Essentially, this means that TNA cannot enter into any new business deals without Corgan's approval.

Additionally, neither side of the litigation may sell TNA or its tape library until ordered by the Court. This development may put TNA in a difficult position; however, it also prevents Corgan from selling his claim to TNA to a third party.
Looks like Billy is definitely going for more than just his money. He's going to try and force Dixie out if she won't part ways on her own.

Bruce Prichard's podcast this week was about his time in TNA. Crazy shit in there. Most of it's probably old news to people who followed TNA more closely, but the backstage dysfunction is really something. Probably the craziest was that they didn't pay the federal government the witholdings from his check, so he was behind on his taxes and had no idea. So he had to pay that back, with interest and penalties, and TNA had effectively stolen money from him.

The way TNA has treated their employees and contractors is just fucking shameful.

You know, these stories have been around for awhile in terms of money issues and it still boggles my mind to a certain extent that people would still want to work for them and sign exclusive contracts. I get it, t.v. exposure is almost a must but at what expense?

Another TNA lawsuit has been revealed as BankDirect Capital Finance, LLC filed a lawsuit on September 29th in Cook County, Illinois asking for $207,612.29 plus legal fees, interest and late charges.

Back on November 30th, 2015, BankDirect entered into an*agreement*with TNA Entertainment, LLC, to pay TNA $400,146.00 so TNA could pay*certain*insurance premiums. TNA agreed to make 10*monthly*payments of $41,032.45 with the first payment coming on November 13th, 2015. As of September 29th, TNA had paid almost half of the suit but was still $207,612.29 behind.

Isn't it great how people with shit tons of money always owe shit tons of money?

Can you imagine if you owed someone hundreds of thousands of dollars right now? You'd be in fucking jail.

    Fuck all this negative noise

TNA has seen some of the most beautiful women to ever grace a pro wrestling platform. Everyone from Karen Angle to Velvet Sky to Daffney to Gail Kim. But who would you say is the most beautiful/hottest/sexiest whichever word you want to use, who's at the top?

I'm going to have to say Karen Angle.

I didn't think someone could be put in jail for owing money? Or is it different when a business owes employees money? You can't be thrown in jail for owing someone, say $5,000, on a personal matter or owing a credit card company that money.

I follow Brooke Adams on Instagram, even when she was pregnant she was hot as hell.

How about Maria? I keep forgetting she's in TNA but I think Maria is, imo, the hottest woman in all of wrestling so I'm changing my opinion on the fly:

This thread needed a more positive conversation. You can only read so many internet lawyers and just negative shit (from myself included) about TNA before it gets super old really fucking quick. There's just not enough sex going on in the wrestling forums here at Rajah.com so with that, I say you're welcome.

There's a report that Corgan is probably going to lose his case. It's sad really. IMO, Impact is in a bad limbo state. You have Corgan willing to buy who would be a true breath of fresh air if he took over completely and Dixie left, but may end up going through all of this for naught. And you have Dixie still in charge, but arguably the damage is done and could be the final blow to the death of the company.

Grado vs. Matt should be their main event centerpiece feud. I've never seen this Grado before, but he's clearly the future of the company.

Promo question to Lashley from someone who hasn't watched:

If the same thing happens everytime you face him, why does he have the title?

Meanwhile, on the boring, boobless front (not counting the defendants) a lawyer wrote a piece to make sense of the Corgan/TNA lawsuit, and offers predictions on how it will probably go.

I think everyone can agree it's not Hogan, it's not Bischoff, it's not Jeff Jarrett, it's Dixie fucking Carter. You could probably pin point the moment TNA took a turn for the worse when she started to get more and more involved. Don't get me wrong, I loved seeing her get a powerbomb off the top through a table, that was one of the greatest moments in TNA history...I actually think it made their top 5 on that countdown show they did awhile ago lol. But she's a mark, and the fucked up thing is she's been able to play house with this company for so many years and all these people kiss her fucking ass instead of calling her out on her bullshit. They just leave. When have you ever heard a wrestler or someone involved in booking TNA do an interview where they told Dixie she was wrong? I listen to a shit ton of interviews with wrestlers who were in TNA and they all say "She's so nice blah blah blah but she's a mark...." Nobody ever says I told Dixie this, I told her she was wrong, she wouldn't budge so I left and fucked her in the ass after the tapings. None of that to my knowledge. Maybe if she had less tongues in her snatch and more dicks up her ass she'd respect the business more.

But I have to say, she is/was pretty damn fine:

    Not Dixie but who cares

Who's brain did the name TNA come from. Sounds like a Vince Russo idea.

The below passage relates to a Facebook posting from a UK based promotion which had booked EC3 but as he is injured have replaced him with Eddie Edwards for a show this weekend. If TNA cannot pay staff wages - why are they paying for transatlantic flights!

"The full story is, EC3 is legitimately injured and can't travel to the UK next weekend. From our dealings with the agent and the responses from TNA, we would like to go on record and commend TNA for how they have dealt with the situation. They sorted out a replacement and booked a flight themselves, which they paid for. Which is a very classy move by them. These shows don't make a fortune and having to pay for a replacement flight with less than a weeks notice would have been a disaster.
