The Official WrestleMania sign pointing sweepstake

The game is simple.

Who will point to the Wrestlemania 28 sign the most between now and the show.

It's a shame that Rey Rey is injured, as he was a great pointer, and really knew how to get the sign over.

Taker would be a contender too, IF he wrestles at WM. After 20 years or so, he has really mastered the art of pointing.

HHH while not having the best record at WM, sure knows how to point at the fucking sign. If he is brought back, you can bet he'll put that sign over like a mother fucker.

Outsiders for the most points must be Truth and Morrsion. While they are eager to point, they're not very good at it.

I'm hoping there will be a few 3 hour Raws in the new year that will have 12 segments of pure pointing, and there are rumours of a mini-game in WWE 12 where you have to repeatedly press the buttons to see who can keep their mans arm pointing the longest.

So year. This will be the official thread to keep an eye on all the pointing that goes on, usually the highlight on the road to Wrestlemania....

I think pointing is an ability you can't teach. Can you imagine the Uso's pointing at the WrestleMania sign? No, they wouldn't have the first clue how to do it and that's why nobody cares about them.

I reckon that could be his new gimmick. Have him be like Eugene in that he's a bit special, and that he believes it's WM every month, starting just after WM. He can bug The Authority on a regular basis asking if he's going to Wrestlemania, and after months of trying, the crowd will go apeshit when he wins a 6-man tag pre-show match at Battleground.

I was. I spent last year watching Wrestlemania in The City Arms in Oxford, and every time we saw the sign on the screen we had to point.

Last person to point, did a shot. Pointing season is probably my favourite time of the year.

Think it was the first year they did it. There was a good atmosphere. Don't know if I'll do it again this year - it was a bit weird being in that kind of social situation. Everyone took it so seriously.

Me and my mate watched it in a bar this year gone and I'm not sure anyone took it seriously... But I was so hoarse the next day from shouting/chanting. Maybe I did! I was hammered and fell asleep for 10 minutes in the loo.

By seriously I mean that all of the chat was said with such genuine conviction.

We ended up getting hammered, and had an idea to open up a wrestling theme bar in London, called "The Spanish Announcers Table" or something. We'd show all the PPVs, have wrestling on from around the world and have wrestling themed cocktails/shooters as well as fully stocked fridges of budweiser. The jukebox would only have entrance music available to play, and instead of a fruit machine we'd have No Mercy on N64. We'd have an APA lounge out back where you could smoke cigars and play poker. Have a giant Wrestlemania sign in the corner of the bar, so you could take a picture pointing at it too.

It would probably stay open for about a month, if that. If WWE New York couldn't stay open, we'd have no chance.
