I just had my N64 out, playing WCW/NWO Revenge. I took a couple friends of mine down to Larryland.

I got way into StarFox 64 a few weeks ago. God I love that game and hate the fact that it never got a direct sequel.

One of the only games I ever (legit) 100%-ed. Fucking all-time classic.

Got Fox's shades, completed every path, every "Mission Accomplished", even grinded out all the training mode stuff.

I'm not gonna lie, Fox's dad's ghost coming to save him, even though it screams "Star Wars", used to make me tear up a little.

Now, anytime I feel like firing up a 64 emulator, I fire this beast up with all the Game Shark cheats and sheer off a piece of big, Andross monkey ass just for fun. I've got nothing left to "prove".

Yeah I 100 percented that one back in the 90s. I'd like to do it again but like you, I've nothing left to prove. I own Lylat and Andross knows it.

Speaking of 100 percenting though, I recently committed to 100 percenting GTA 4, Gay Tony, Lost and the Damned and then GTA 5.

Well I've been stuck on 97 percent on GTA4 for a good week or more. Killed every last stupid fucking pigeon, did all the stunt jumps, figured I mustve left off an acitivty or two with my friends so I redid all those and still nothing.

Then I figured it out. I didn't realize all three main islands have their own individual most wanted lists. So now I can finally complete it tonight.

CD Projekt Red delays next-gen Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher 3 to 2022
Cyberpunk q1, Witcher 3 is q2. This sucks I was looking forward to playing Witcher 3 on PS5.

I'd say GTA III has aged the worst, VC is still the greatest of the series for me with great music and the Scarface story. SA is quite good in terms of areas to explore and has extras that VC doesn't, but the basic control schemes are nearly the same. But I can easily pick up any of these games and replay them. A while ago I played a half-finished mod that allowed me to play III using the VC engine, and it was super sweet riding around III's environments on a motorcycle.

I played this so much on my PS2 back when I was 13 I broke the disc. It was the dream game in my eyes the one where we could have all this freedom, but now where we could be a part of a real story with actual characters that just screamed possibilities. When I finally got my hands on it, it blew away every expectation I had. I remember talking to my brother about how amazing this series would be if it went full 3D. All the mainline series will be etched forever into my brain. Granted, I found part 4 to be a bit of a disappointment, but whatever. I remember standing on street corners and watching the world go by, amazed by it all. What a game.

I don't know that I could go back and play III and VC, I didn't get a PS2 until pretty late in game. I played bits and pieces over friends houses/barracks (I joined the Marines 9/11/01) but the first one I really played was San Andreas. Growing up in LA I loved the music. It might not be LA Noire but trust me if you grew up here there are lots places that look familiar. I'm gonna give these a shot but I feel like these MIGHT be like Megaman games where I have a REAL hard time with the first three, also nine. I got so used to certain mechanics that losing them hurts.

Okay Rockstar, I'm more than sold! Hats off to them! I'm a complete sucker when it comes to them and their games. I'd love a Max Payne series and Red Dead Redemption remaster as well.

I really hope that works out for you, make sure you post your opinion when you get around to this bad boy. Currently my plan is to hold out for 2.0 but I can be swayed.

I will try to clear some time if my neices and nephews don't come over. I made the grave mistake of letting them play a game where a goose is an absolute prick for no readily obvious reason. I think he's a founding member of team "F*ck you, that's why I threw your lunch in the lake!"

The Oculus fucking rocks. I'm totally new to vr so it took me a while to adjust the settings so I was comfortable and not feeling pukey every 10 minutes but once I got it going oh boy.

Resident Evil 4 is mind blowing fun. I cant get over how they truly remade it for vr. If you're standing on one of those rooftops in the village Pueblo you can walk over to the chimney and look down inside it. When a chainsaw guy is running at you it's intense. I mean this shit is FUN.

I did have an issue setting my son's though. It simply would not download anything. Had to do a factory reset and start all over which seems to have fixed it.

Got the fancy headstrap for the Oculus and it pretty much fixed the issues with feeling sick and pukey after playing. Back into RE4

The multi-player was so fun on those games. As a kid I used to love to go rent one and invite a friend over and try to best the whole thing over the weekend.

The other games of this ilk (Predator, Alien Isolation) are fun. I expect this to be the same, though I've never seen the movie.

from what I'm reading, it's more like dead by daylight and the friday the 13th game, with killers vs survivors in multiplayer matches.

Gotta be in the running for most random movies to get a game. Fucking love this movie. My oldest daughter has a bunch of merch of this and Child's Play as those were the first horror movies she remembers seeing when she was very little lol.

I'm all about it and can't wait. I'm not a big online player so that's really the only negative aspect just like with Friday the 13th. I don't really play online and would rather just bang out a story mode over and over.

Just got Cowabunga collection. There is a filter for the first TMNT game for consoles (remember the Dam?) that tototally fixes the janky, blinking sprites. It makes everything so smooth. This is how this game must've been meant to be played.
