Agree 100%. Once she had her addiction problems I was done with her. She just got so whiney and was always playing the victim. Boo boo. Liam is great now! He’s hilarious. Big fan of Lip. That scene where he showed up to his sponsor’s house was great. It’s hard not to root for him.

Watching outcry regarding Greg Kelley. 2 eps in, And I already know where this is going, The state, the attorneys of the time, the cops. They are so concerned in convicting the guy they lead the poor kid in questioning and are outright incompetent and corrupt in the whole investigation. Conviction over truth. If you like to get enraged watch this and marvel at the justice system wanting to make themselves look good over wanting to truth and justice for a 4 year old victim.

Loved this series. I really enjoyed the episode where they dug into Sega taking on Nintendo.

Is S&M2 a new recording or a remaster of the original?

I enjoyed it. I won't go too into it for now but my only regret was not getting it in the theater but I'll live.

New recording. I haven't got it yet but planning on it soon. Metallica is doing this drive in concert in some areas with Three Days Grace opening for them. It's playing a bunch of different places in upstate NY but I'm not able to go. Interesting concept though.

Cool. The version of “One” on S&M1 is possibly my favorite Metallica recording. An unbelievable version of a great song. The drive in concert is a cool idea. I’d see it if I was closer to upstate NY.

Binged hard with Kingdom, now in the early episodes of Season 3 which I was informed is back to only 10 episodes as opposed to season 2's 20. One of my favorite shows in the last decade that's for sure.

Almost caught up on Cobra Kai. I loved the first 3 Karate Kid movies, they were essential to my childhood especially the first 2. Very much loving this. Always been a fan of William Zabka.

Last but not least, season 2 of the Boys. Only a couple episodes available so far, which I like because it'll keep me from stressing over not watching them all while dodging spoilers lol. If you're not a fan of The Boys I get it, but holy fuck it's entertaining.

I tried to get an idea of the movie by the previews and summary but it definitely screams like one of those movies where even after the 5th watch you'll still be like, what the fuck? So I'll be checking it out lol.

Been watching "The Boys" on Amazon Prime.

Its kind of amazing how a show where, if literally every character featured just dropped dead the world would be a better place over night, they still manage to make us root for the "good" guys. Well, Billy Butcher and his "The Boys" aren't good. But compared to the "heroes" they're trying to expose/kill, they're saints. Siding with the heroes is like choosing a stabbing in the liver over a shotgun blast to the face. Still bad, but you might survive the encounter.

Anyway, don't want to give too much away. Suffice to say, all saints are sinners but some sinners are saints. Don't trust anybody in tights and don't drink a glass of milk while you're watching this one. You'll never think of a gallon of milk quite the same way after you see how Homelander gets his kicks.

Season 3 I think. Maybe 4. It really hits its stride at the end of 4 and all of 5.

Started Schitt's Creek last night. Episode one was good, it has me intrigued. Has real potential. Really late to the party here, as I think I saw there are 5 seasons.

Planning on starting The Boys soon, now that we have Amazon.

I Hate Suzie is also on the list of things to watch.

Currently loving, but way behind on Line Of Duty. Nearing the end of series 3...

My wife and I binged the first 4 episodes of The Boys Season 2 last night. They put the first 3 out a week ago and now they're doing weekly for the other 8 episodes. From a business perspective I totally understand doing a weekly model for more social media engagement but from a personal perspective I want to see what happens.

Actually think it was Season 1 , or early Season 2 that happened. I just finished the episode Chicago, with Elvis at the funeral of Nick's father, and that's episode 20 of season 2.

Yeah I wish all the episodes were out, but I get it. The binge nature of recent streaming has spoiled us.

Finished Kingdom (MMA not weird zombie). I'm hearing a possible 4th season may be in the works. I guess ever since it debuted on Netflix back in June-July it's been one of the most watched new shows. If this show was on Netflix from the start or HBO/Showtime, we'd be into Season 5-6 by now. But it lacked an audience and funding.

Dexter is up next. 2 episodes in and it doesn't suck. I do like these crime solving shows but this is a nice spin where he's doing some vigilante work on the side.

It really has. It's almost like a race to see who can finish the first 9 seasons of the Walking Dead the fastest. And this was way the fuck before any coronavirus lol.

I'm currently watching Eastbound and Down. Such a funny show. Danny McBride is so good. It's too bad there are only 29 episodes. I am going to get this done in about a week.

Yeah Eastbound is great. I think Vice Principals might be even better but there are even fewer episodes of that.

God I love Danny McBride. Can't wait for season 2 of Gemstones.

I Hate Suzie. Watched episode one last night. FUCKING HELL, THIS WAS SO BAD! Like I have no idea how this was even made. It make me want to peel my own skin off. 30 minutes felt like 3 days.

Why I left it on, I have no clue. I was just watching open mouthed and in befuddlement the whole time.

Pretty sure this shit is being raved about.

Also watched Two Weeks To Live episode 1. Not great at all, but a million time better than that Billie Piper shit.

I really enjoyed two weeks to live, It won't win any awards but for a three hour watch it's good enough.

Only one episode in and will persevere with that one.

I Hate Suzie though, I'm massively intrigued to see if it can remain so bloody fucking atrocious.

I only know Jamie Foxx and James Fox, I shall investigate who Laurence Fox is.

Edit: Haha he is James Fox's son.

I caught "Dead Set" last night on Netflix. By the "Black Mirror" dude. Its a zombie/horror/dark comedy/parody of reality TV, set on the... well... set of "U.K. Big Brother", during a massive zombie outbreak. Its perfectly fine for what it is and its only 5 episodes long (first episode is 45 minutes, and the rest all run around 25-ish), but its not great. It seems like Charlie Brooker wants to say "something" about reality TV, but instead all he manages to do is create a cast of characters that are all almost unlikable to a fault.

The "Big Brother" cast of idiots play their roles well, as the almost-retardedly vapid cunts who wind up embodying their "roles" from the show, even once the zombies start massacring everyone in the studio and the cameras and TV feeds die. We've got exactly one likable character, and she's a bitch who fooled around on her boyfriend with another guy. We then get to watch her boyfriend fight his way back from the middle of the English countryside to be with her. There's the asshole producer, who's going through nicotine withdrawals, and gets trapped in a room by his zombie assistant and has to shit in a bucket and pee in the corner, while a bleating goat of a Scottish bitch (and the most recent contestant voted out), is stuck in there with him. Miss Voted Off has a voice like nails on a chalkboard and her only lines in the whole series come down to either "I don't like that" or "I don't think that's a good idea". I think we're meant to dislike the producer and like her, but I couldn't wait for some zombies to rip her throat out.

Really, its a messy, messy show. But they get a lot out of a little. Its mostly one location, a few characters, and enough characters that we're not meant to like, that we enjoy the carnage when it happens. I couldn't wait to see these vapid reality TV "stars" and star fuckers get torn to bits and pieces, and I got that.

By the end of things, well I don't want to give the whole game away, but it doesn't end well for anybody. Its a fun enough watch to binge in a couple hours, but it won't replace "The Walking Dead".

And you have to have a strong stomach. Not for gore. But for dealing with assholes and idiots.

I just finished You Cannot Kill David Arquette. It's pretty good. There's some scary moments for sure. I'm not a fan of death match wrestling with no athleticism or story behind it for instance.

There's a bit of a push to close out it with a movie. Maybe we'll get lucky.

Yeah. You know they'll start the season with a conversation that has nothing to do with it. Don't get me wrong, I'll enjoy that scene. But the whole time, I'll be wanting to see the beating.

Not that I’m aware of, so far; the newest season is over three months late, which is disappointing. You don’t fuck with tradition...

And yes, Dierks is due a massive asswhooping. That final scene of season eight is nothing short of a masterpiece: music without dialogue, only action.

The fact that Wayne pulls up at the exact second Katy sees Dierks has been cheating on her was the best thing I've ever seen.

Rewatched Chuck since the 1st time it aired. This show had so much potential and probably would have been a bigger deal had it came on tv 4 to 5 years later. Definitely a nerd show centering on spy shenanigans. Hell, they even talk about the rise of the Nerds and how it was thier time.

Anywho, lots of great cameos from the comic book world and the sci fi world. It was also a neat concept with the whole intersect thing. Now certain elements of the show probably wouldnt exist in this day and age (definitely the whole showcasing super sexy slo mo women) but like I said, it probably would have fared better now vs when it aired og. If your a super comic nerd you can kinda sorta see a live action show down of shazam vs superman.

Overall, I enjoyed it greatly. Adam Baldwin is always a treat and it made me a Zachary Levi fan. You would also never believe Yvonne Strahovski is Australian with her perfect American accent.

    Now on to 30 Rock.

I was streaming some random shit on Hulu last night. First I picked a random episode of X-Files (it was from season 5 where they're driving to some seminar and randomly get stopped by local police at a roadblock working on a missing person case in Florida and it turns out to be crazy mothman-esque forrest monsters killing people). Good episode. I think I will keep doing some random X-Files eps like that.

Then I watched the pilot episode of Boston Legal. I may continue with that show, it's pretty solid.

I watched the pilot of Golden Girls. Estelle remains the best part of that series. I don't know if I'll watch more though.

Wrapped up The Good Place, I cried at the end.

Currently on season 1 of Fleabag and I love it.

Made it through four or five episodes of The Good Place before we tapped out. Couldn’t get into it. Didn’t like Kristen Bell that much in it. Not sure what we’re going to watch next. Someone told us they really enjoyed Easy on Netflix so maybe that.

Kristen Bell and that Chidi guy were just the worst. Also hated Shawn and Janet. Jason and Michael were the only two I really liked though.

Hill House was just the family arguing all the time and being assholes to each other and it didn't make me want to spend time with them. This one, I actually like most of the characters, it's a much more welcoming group dynamic, and there's several mysteries to unravel, so it's keeping me invested.

They definitely have more personality in this one.

I thought there were some very intriguing characters in the 1st season and good stories to support the characters. I watched the 1st season a second time with my wife, on her first viewing, and there were so many little details that were missed, or didn't fit the first time, that I picked up on the 2nd time around. It made the entire season better. The children were the show stealers, no doubt, and Theo was by far the most interesting adult character.

The humor doesn't change so I cant talk you into watching more that way.

But at 5 or 6 episodes in, the viewer doesn't even know what the show is about yet. You think you do but you don't and then season two happens and the show goes from average to one of the most unique things I've ever seen.

Other people have said similar things to us and here’s the thing...I don’t want to “work” to get to the of parts of a show, know what I mean? I can understand people praising the show and I’m happy people enjoyed it, but the thought of having to watch a few hours of TV in order to get to a part of the show I may or may enjoy more isn’t quite my idea of fun.

At least New Girl had Cece on the show. She’s my get out of jail free card.

    Nah i gotcha.

See how I wound up watching the show was with my lady and she loved it. I just thought it was okay but I watched it with her looking at my phone the whole time. If I didn't like Ted Danson so much I never would've tried.

Then the last ep of season one happened, I spent all summer wondering what in the FUCK was going to happen next and then episode 1 season 2 happened which became basically the greatest 30 minutute episode of tv I've ever seen. So I got hooked.

To be faiiiiir though, the last season or two has not had that same magic as the middle seasons did for me.

This one had a lot more personality from the characters, but was a bit lighter on scares in my opinion. Was still spooky, but not like Hill House.

Yeah, we just finished it last night. Really good stuff and far more satisfying a story than Hill House but I definitely wouldn't call it very scary.

You know, when I was a kid, I just always assumed it was Blanche singing the opening song. I don't know why. I just did.

Just started the Boys. Fun show. I went in not knowing much about the comic/graphic novel so I had no clue the Super heros are the "bad guys." Not a spoiler for those that haven't watched lol. Good stuff so far.

My sister told me Jensen Ackles is joining the Boys Season 3 I think, so I should start watching it as I love Jensen Ackles.

My wife and I started watching the Haunting of Bly Manor and my interest kept waning on it until we're now at episode 7 and I finally feel like I want to stick with it and make sense of everything. Very weird pacing to this show, I think. We haven't watched Hill House, decided to just jump into the new one since it's an anthology, is it similar in that way?

I'm about 3/4 of the way through Bly so I'm sure there's something I haven't seen coming to distinguish the two, hey have similarities to them and the pacing can be kind of the same for Hill. Episode six from Hill was one of my favorite episodes of anything I saw on TV in 2018.

I've recently fallen in love with Aussie horror. Greg McLean in particular. The Wolf Creek movies are badass for certain but what I didn't know was that there was a Wolf Creek series as well.

Seasons 1 and 2 on Shudder. Awesome shit.

Oooh Shudder sounds good, but we cannot afford more subscriptions.

I have been binge watching Hoarders. It makes me sad and also motivates me to clean.

In the past I've had it for a month or two, watched everything I was interested in and then dropped it for a long time before getting it again.

But they have really added a ton of shit in the last year. Shows and movies and orginals. All kinds of shit. And I think they do a free trial month.

May try a free trial at some point. We dropped Crave, now we are enjoying a month free trial of Amazon Prime. We love horror so Shudder would be amazing.
