Over the past year plus I’ve done serious damage on this franchise: the final three seasons of the original series, season one of “Force”, all three seasons of “Ghost”. I find it entertaining and compelling TV, these ten episode seasons are so easy to polish off.

On deck, in order, over the next calendar year: season two of “Force” and seasons 1-3 of “Raising Kanan”. We probably don’t see network TV return until January at the earliest (for a shortened run to return to a normal production schedule), so I have some time still.
Completely up to date, including tonight’s series finale of the “Ghost” spinoff. Highly recommend this franchise, some quality entertainment. Over 150 episodes between the original series and three spinoffs, it’s a definite commitment but highly worth it.

Next to be released is “Raising Kanaan”, sometime this Winter. After that, “Force” has one more season, to be followed by the final season of “Kanaan”.

The Penguin......I have no problem saying if this isn't the best DC show of all time it's top 3. I want to tell people if you're a fan of Breaking Bad, Dexter, Shield, whatever awesome show someone told you to check out, this is one of those shows. Not saying it's as good as them, but don't let the whole "It's a Batman villain!" turn you away. If you watched this you would have absolutely no idea it was comic book related. This was for the fans of mobster movies/shows. Top tier cast. Colin Farrell, Christin Milioti....Christin deserves some kind of award idk what you give her just something. Wow. 10/10. If you have Max, again, even if you don't like Batman, comics, etc this is not Burgess Meredith or Danny Devito Penguin.

Everyone should be watching From. Harold Perrineau from LOST is the main character, it's on season 3 and so good. Hopefully it doesn't get canceled before mysteries get answered. It's on MGM+, I think you can get a 7 day trial for free. November 24th is the season 3 finale.

Great show, the reason I ended up getting MGM+ and luckily for me they had a deal to get MGM and AMC+ for like $8 a month.

What's your theory on what's going on and what was your opinion of the last episode? Doesn't seem worth making a thread when this forum is so dead.

It's going to suck waiting another year for season 4. Apparently the plan is for 5 seasons.

Great finale. Reddit was pretty much right about everything. There's some more theories going on now that seems plausible. One is mentioned in this video which is a good watch.

    I don't think we're getting From season 4 until early 2026 though.

Double spoiler. If you haven't seen the first 3-4 seasons of Walking Dead don't read the 2nd part.

The thing about FROM is that you can't really explain it's appeal until you watch it. It's like the Walking Dead or even Penguin where you want people to see beyond the surface. I went into From based on the fact that I love Harold Perrineau (shout out to Oz) and MGM+ came bundled with AMC+ so I needed a couple shows to watch. I went into this knowing almost nothing other than they were trapped in a small town/village. I didn't even know LOST had anything to do with it's creation so it does make a little since all things considered. It's very unique so if anyone wants to check it out you need to commit to it because it starts out wild and by the end of the first season you will know if it's for you or not.

My wife and I started watching Silo, a show from Apple TV+.

It started out really interesting but we're around episode 4 or 5 now and it's gotten a little slow. I'm hoping it picks back up, I've heard it was really good from people who liked From.

I still need to watch the latest 2 half season but I haven't been super interested after hearing Kevin Costner was leaving the show.

A satisfying series finale for “Yellowstone”: resolution for most storylines/characters, left enough open ended material should Sheridan opt to continue the Yellowverse. Might have to start up the prequels.

“Blue Bloods” had its series finale this past weekend after 14 seasons and almost 300 episodes; I was a dedicated fan but the show had definitely run its course.

Just finished The Day of the Jackal on Peacock. Fucking incredible. Eddie Redmayne is nothing short of brilliant. It’s such a cool story and I’m glad it was infinitely better than the Bruce Willis remake from the 90s.

There was one scene which was a shot for shot remake from the original movie so I nerded out over that. Won’t give away any spoilers but I highly recommend watching.

I hated the last half of the last season of Yellowstone. It seemed like it was all just one big fuck you to Kevin Costner when he made the show what it was. It also just seemed like they were rushing to tie up loose ends to wrap up the show. The stuff with Kayce was the only good parts.

We just finished Silo season 2, it was really good, better than the first season even, I think.

We watched the first episode of Season 2 of Severance and it was good but I was a little distracted so I might have to watch it again. It just kind of seemed like there's not a lot of conflict right now which is a weird place for that show to be.

Watching the second season of Squid Game. Not enjoying it nearly as much as the first season. Same thing with season 2 of Based on a true story, I think I have second season syndrome.

I need to pop on Cobra Kai. Yellowjackets season 3 just started. There's so much out there right now that I'm trying to keep up with. Almost finished Landman (one of the best new shows out there), Dexter is going strong.

Is anyone watching The Pitt on Max? My gf and I have been watching it and it's wild. We joke it's a spinoff of ER.

Turns out I must of been looking at my phone right at the end of the penultimate episode because something I was waiting for in the final ep didn't happen and it was very obvious why once I saw the actual end of the previous ep

The Pitt is terrific, just bloody terrific.

Far and away the most technically accurate medical drama to date. It's like a documentary of an explosively overworked ER with talented actors/actresses running super engaging narratives in the meantime.

    Can't recommend enough.

It's phenomenal. I was never super big into the whole hospital drama craze but ER definitely was on the tv more often than not when I was married years ago. Love the cast of this show, I wish my ex-wife watched it because she was an ER admin for years so it would've been cool to know if this reminds her of working at the hospital.

It's a show that I didn't expect to be so invested in.

My wife and I enjoyed Robert DeNiro's "Day Zero" limited series. DeNiro is still a heck of an actor, even if he can come off as a pompous prick when it comes to his personal politics.

I'm on episode 3 and I'm loving it especially when you know that it must bother people like you because of his personal politics.

I watched SNL this weekend, with Shane Gillis and Tate McRae. I regret this decision. Shane Gillis might be the least funniest person to ever walk the earth. Tate McRae is nice to look at but I want to have my ears surgically removed. Also, the show was garbage, except for the opening which had it's moments, and the Weekend Update was mostly ok.

Paramount+ uploaded a ton of Unplugged. I used to love watching these. There are some really obscure ones I had no idea that even had an Unplugged or I just forgot since most of these are 25-30 years old.

I threw on a random one. Duran Duran. Always liked what I heard of them over the years.
