Watching the Bundesliga relegation/promotion play-off between Hertha Berlin and Fortuna Dusseldorf. Crazy game. Berlin need 1 goal to stay up. Otto Rehhagel's last game in management, the story of Dusseldorf potentially getting promoted 3 times in 10 years which would be a record for their captain, red cards, goals, unbelievable misses, flares on the pitch, a player trying to attack fans, and a premature pitch invasion with 1 minute of the 7 minute injury time left. They've got everyone off the pitch now and are going to play the final minute.

Montpellier won the french league. Mental game too. They only needed a draw but it was hard work for them, and PSG elements infiltrated the crowd and did their best to stall the game.

AC Milan seemed to go about 5 years unbeaten in the early 90s. Also their ridiculous defence went about a year without conceding.
58 games and almost 2 years unbeaten apparently. Seemed a lot longer when I was a nipper. Although Marco Van Basten also seemed to score an overhead kick every week too, he probably only scored 2 or 3 massive ones.

It was only a friendly but AC Milan walked off due to racist chanting against some lower division side. Good on them. Sucks though for the majority of the fans though that were there.

You could argue that as its him making the header the positioning of the rest of his body is also deliberate, its not like the ball has cannoned into his hand off another player, its come off his own head and one would assume his header was a deliberate act and he shouldn't have had his hand up in a place where it could have affected the path of the ball following the header.

There's been several other red cards and snide acts. Now Cavani's been sent off after Gonzalo Jara literally jammed his finger up his arsehole and went down like he'd been smacked when Cavani tapped him on the chest. This after Cavani's dad was arrested the day before for killing a motorcyclist in a road accident and there was a question mark over whether he should even be playing.

I know it's only a trial but VAR has been an absolute shambles in this tournament. I'm not in favour of it anyway, I think the rules are too open to interpretation to make it beneficial to slow the game down for a potentially unlimited amount of times.
Having said that, they just stopped the game for about two minutes to decide on a definite red card and gave...a yellow card.
