"walk on girls are no longer part of professional darts"

    What?

I agree with Percussion....maybe ask these women if it bothers them and if it does, who's been holding their families hostage forcing them to do this job? Lol.

Any woman who says they don't like attention is a fucking liar, including this mayor. Who, by the looks of pretty much every photo with her husband and 2 sons, 1 of the sons always has his arms wrapped gently around his father. In like 7 pictures. 7 different locations. lol. Must be a thing I missed out on since my bio dad bounced, where the oldest has to embrace their father like they're "together".

90% of the card are dudes in underwear fighting......I think the fact men are forced to fight in nothing but shorts/underwear is bullshit. Maybe Roy Nelson wanted to wear a skin tight Reebok top??

Just Bleed card tonight. Cowboy vs. Gaethje. Sustained violence or a quick finish guaranteed. Got to lean Gaethje due to that violent pressure, but he ships enough shots to make it unpredictable.

Gaethje with the dynamite. Also pretty damn rad of him to be so reluctant to blast his defenseless homeboy.

Tough matchup situation moving forward for Justin though.

Does he get the winner of Khabib/Tony? Is he really willing to sit on the sideline that long just to find out?

A Poirier rematch seems mostly fitting at this point. Is it a little too soon though?

And of course is he enough of an attraction to draw the retiree back into the cage? Not likely, especially given Conor's awareness of the likelihood that he could get his wig split. But just in terms of actual combat it'd damn sure be fireworks. I wouldn't hate to see it.

It's the title fight or Conor, definitely. Barboza and Cerrone back to back inside a round. 6 fights, 7 bonuses. It's a fight of the year contender or a first round knockout every time. So it's big time PPV main event next for him. Poirier can fight Raging Al if he wins in Melbourne.

Great to see Glover get another win. Tough as old dog shit and one of the sport's nice guys. Him and Smith makes sense.

The idea of Smith killing all the former top guys is pretty fun.

Gaethje is just incredible. Like Chuck and Wandy 15 years ago. This guy either waits for a well deserved title shot or faces McGregor....I wouldn't be sad if he did in fact rematch Poirer but Id rather a fresh mega match up.

Hell maybe he gets the winner of the BMF title fight lol

What's up with McGregor's tweet about "Dublin. December 14th" To some it sounded like he was saying he was going to be fighting in Dublin. To me it sounds like he's shouting out his city like "Hey Dublin, I'm fighting December 14th" The card (UFC 245) looks ok. Nunes v. GDR for the BW title (fuck a FW title lol), Jessica Eye v. some chick I've never heard of, Robbie Lawler v. Santiago Ponzinibbio, and a dream fight for me Matt Brown v. Ben Saunders.

Adding McGregor would be fucking huge and there's definitely plenty of time to piece something together. Personally, I want to see him v. Gaethje. Arguably the most dangerous dude McGregor will have faced. I get that Khabib is Khabib, 300-0, but he's not a violent man. He doesn't leave trails of dead fighters behind him.

Retired fighter. Probably launching a new whiskey or something. Certainly won't be a UFC fight in Dublin anyway, as it's already booked for Vegas.

    I agree. He's essentially irrelevant.

And cryptic texts try and combat that. Just without all that pesky actual combat.

That's why I was thinking he was talking to the people of Dublin as opposed to saying an event was taking place in Dublin.

Interesting considering everyone still keeps calling him out. When I think of irrelevant or "essentially irrelevant" fighters I'm not thinking of the guy everyone keeps calling out.

    A couple news items.....

Dana White is saying they're currently working on a Stipe-Cormier rubber match.

He also said Colby Covington turned down the Usman fight AND a fight against Woodley since he declined the Usman fight. Possibly money was the main issue. Whatever.

Non-news but really excited for my boy Jeremy Stephens fighting Yair Rodriguez this weekend. It's a pick 'em fight. Stephens is a guy who can string 3-4 big wins and then lose out of nowhere like his last fight, very shocked he lost that one but it happens. Yair, very good. Could go either way.

Yair vs. Stephens is a good fight, rest of the card is absolutely thread bare. Think some of the women might be ranked, other than that nobody relevant is fighting. The card in Denmark next week is substantially better and not in American prime time. Alas, it's a good fight for the division. At this stage we know what we're getting from Stephens. Beat him, you'll likely earn a fight with a top 5 opponent. Yair is insanely watchable so if they can get him past Stephens, they might be able to match him to a title shot. Not that easy though as Stephens hits like a truck and has a chin still. My lean is probably Stephens to be honest, Yair gets caught on the counter a lot and Jeremy has the leg kicks to take away a lot of the arsenal. Stephens inside 2.

Don't think there's any real solution to open glove eye-poke problems, but goodness, back-to-back shows now and one with an overseas main-event featuring a native fighter.

I suppose just a bit of bad optics ...

And for Yair to question Stephens of all fucking people makes me sick.

What wasn't a shock was the Mexican fans throwing shit lol. Can't tell you how many boxing fights I saw this happen....usually they threw chairs lol.

Run it back. Yair escaped death.

Dec 21st main event for South Korea

    Korean Zombie v. Brian Ortega

These 2 have been wanting to throw down for a while so I'm pretty excited for this one.

The Rock will presenting the BMF title to the winner of the Masvidal-Diaz fight. That's incredible!

McGregor's coach is saying that they are still liking Frankie Edgar as a return opponent for Conor. Now, that might just be the coach talking. I'm honestly not a fan of that fight. Just doesn't seem as cool as McGregor fighting at Gaethje.

The Boston card on October 18th is getting Jeremy Stephens v. Yair Rodriguez 2 as the co-main event. Good. Idk about you guys but I'm hoping to God Stephens beats the fuck out of him. Yair is such a tool.

So Colby's got his title fight in Vegas on December 14th. Topping the card with the Holloway/Volkanovski and Nunes/Randame title scraps. Big card, big stage. Hope he gets throttled. Just wish there was somebody actually likable at welterweight capable of beating him, Usman is a good fighter but it won't be nearly as gratifying as if an RDA or Condit smashed him.

I hope not. But this fight could go either way. Usman seems to have the edge in every aspect of the game, but they have the same skillset. So I think it'll be close, probably come down to who held who up against the cage longer to get a takedown.

The problem is that they have some beef, and neither guy will want to just go for broke. Think Rashad v. Rampage. Ugh that fight had like 2 moments that woke me up from a coma, but neither guy wanted to just throw caution to the wind out of pride and ego. Usman doesn't want to lose to Colby and vice versa, but motherfuck me if Colby wins he'll never shut the fuck up about it.

Adesanya destroyed Whittaker last night. Such a composed performance. With his style he's playing with margins, like Anderson used to, but if he doesn't get caught he's majestic.

The coming year is an absolute golden age for title fights I think.

Stipe vs. Cormier 3, 2 men who, if you take their 2 fights out of the occasion, are 9-1 and 10-0 in their last 10 at the weight respectively, with the loss (a close decision) avenged via first round knockout. Winner fights big Francis.

Jon Jones will be defending against a 12-0 Dominick Reyes, should he beat Weidman in a fortnight.

Adesanya vs. Costa, two undefeated, charismatic killers with a budding rivalry. Both know the game, and both can fucking fight.

Usman vs. Covington, both beaten just once, 20-1 combined UFC record. Winner surely fights the winner of Diaz vs. Masvidal, which will be a top star challenging for the world title.

Khabib vs. Ferguson, the greatest, most skilled fight in the sport's history. Combined 27-1 UFC record. Both on 12 fight company win streaks. For context, only topped 5 times in history.

Holloway vs. Volkanovski. The former on a 14 fight win streak at the weight class, the latter off to a 7-0 start in the UFC and first to beat Jose Aldo in a non title fight.

Bantamweight has time to sort out a contender while Cejudo defends at flyweight.

Cejudo vs. Benavidez 2. Champ champ vs. his only unavenged loss, challenger 9-1 (disputed decision) in his last 10.

Nunes vs. GDR 2. Female GOAT against former FW champ on 5 fight win streak.

Shevchenko short of opponents but therefore likely to go on a run.

Unbeaten in UFC, 20 fight win streak Zhang with the 4 former champions lined up.

    Torn on Adesanya vs Costa.

They're bot likable as fuck inside the cage. Exciting, willing to trade, go for it types. But kinda not so much elsewhere.

I can't help but be skeptical of what kind of horse meat Paulo is using. And also very much wouldn't mind seeing Adesanya have that obnoxious chip uppercutted clear off his shoulder.

I guess it beats a fight between two guys I like to root for knowing one is likely going to sleep. I should get fireworks and someone, at least briefly, humbled here.

Bobby Knuckles getting smoked needed to happen. I was shocked it happened though. I thought maybe Israel spending more time talking about fighting Stipe and Jon Jones would have distorted his focus. But man it was like watching Anderson snuff out Franklin in their 2nd fight.

Israel v. Costa could be fun. 185 is kind of out there on they own with no real stars. At least for a good chunk of the last 15+ they were able to hitch their cart to at least several draws like Rich Franklin, Anderson Silva, Weidman, Sonnen, Vitor, Bisping....Once Bobby Knuckles took the strap it kind of went to the back lol.

Karate Hottie v. Joanna this weekend in Nashville, TN. Kind of excited to see this, rooting for Karate Hottie but Joanna is no joke. Don't let the fact she's 1-3 in her last 4 fool you. But Waterson is also on a nice 3 fight win streak including a win over Karolina Kowalkiewicz back in March. Size might be the deciding factor. Waterson made a name for herself at Atomweight and Joanna looks like she could fight at 135 if she wanted to lol.

Looks like Joanna vs Waterson is going to get scrapped with Joanna missing weight.

And they can't scrap the card because they're going with the MSG card being the 500th UFC event! It's a terrible card without it too. Cub Swanson on a 4 fight losing streak headlining against a 1-0 UFC fighter most likely.

Waterson says she'll fight Joanna at catchweight, or she'd like to be on the MSG card but I doubt that'll happen. I mean fuck we're 2 days out from weigh ins so hopefully everything will work out. Hopefully we don't get a situation where Joanna makes weight but puts herself in danger physically.

Last I'd read before posting that was reports that Waterson was against fighting at a catchweight.

    So, cool.

Going back and reading it again she basically says "We'll see" about fighting her at catchweight. Right now they only have 10 fights lined up for MSG, which btw that card looks SICK. So maybe they could find someone willing to throw down in the next 3-4 weeks. Maybe they reschedule this fight for MSG, idk.

If this fight falls off then yeah, the rest of the card is fucking weak. I seriously have no idea who the majority of the fighters are and those I do know, they're not exactly people I'm giving a shit about. I just looked, 6 fighters I have a memory of lol.

Damn shame Cub Swanson is on a 4 fight losing streak. If he was at least coming off a win, plus he's fighting a Gracie, that's not horrible. But the main event, with the 2 women involved who are easily 2 of the most popular female fighters going today.....Yeah it's not exactly something as a paying fan I'm happy about it if it falls through.

It's a card I'll be skipping. I think Joanna is a significantly better fighter than Waterson, and bigger, and I can't see it being close. Not a whole lot elsewhere either. It's not terrible, the Price/Vick and Anders/GM3 fights should be particularly entertaining, I just find it harder to commit to cards like this given the timezone, and I like my sports live.

On the flip side, I do like next Friday's card. Reyes/Weidman and Yair/Stephens (particularly with the added beef) are big fights that should impact the title picture for 2020. The main event in particular I find inspired matchmaking - there's nobody ranked at light heavyweight with a bigger name than Weidman, so beating him in a five round fight makes him a big sell for a Jones fight. In reverse, a Weidman win immediately gets the now biggest non-Jones name in the division into the mix for that fight. Like I get Chris has been destroyed, and often, but if he looks good at 205 that suddenly becomes a huge fight.

I remember when there were somewhat strong rumors when Weidman was champ that he'd fight Jones in a superfight at the first New York show but that obviously never came to fruition.

You're right about this upcoming card. It's the downside of the company having so many fighters. I was going down the rabbit hole the other day and was reading up on Jason MacDonald (remember that guy) and looking at some of the last cards he was on. I knew every single fighter, vividly. Why? Because it was back when the UFC were doing probably 20 shows a year.

Well JJ definitely took that W from Karate Hottie. It was a good fight but it was pretty much all Joanna. I know the idea is she's next in line for a title shot but damn, she's had 3 title shots in her last 5 fights.

Odds already out for a Khabib/GSP fight with Khabib coming in as a -400 favorite to GSP's +300.

I absolutely, no excuses, it-must-happen want to see Khabib/Ferguson next. It's THE fight. Tony deserves it, mma fans deserve it, Khabib's legacy deserves it.

That said, if Khabib were to win that fight and GSP were at that point still game ... man that's an interesting matchup. And as much as I would root for Khabib and agree that he's the favorite, I don't think it's that wide a margin and would against my own rooting interest just about feel compelled to put a hundo on Georges. It's GSfuckingP for crying out loud.

Conor McGregor v. Frankie Edgar is more than likely going down after several of Conor's tweets over the last month have hinted at a December fight. He just tweeted some shit like Happy Birthday Frankie, see you in December. Plus the tweet not too long ago where Mac said he was fighting in December. That's a wild fight, and it'd be at 155 so even better for both imo.

It's a weird fight in the sense that GSP has never fought at 155 so it doesn't really make sense for Khabib to be like "I want to fight a legend who's never fought at my weight class". But I get it, in general he wants to fight who he considers the best. And GSP is probably looking to be a 3 division champ obviously and Khabib knows this. Truth is, I'd like to see them fight at catchweight because GSP winning the title but not defending, eh, not a fan of that.

Book it as a Superfight, 5 rounds, winner gets bragging rights. Imagine Khabib choking out GSP.....Insane.

GSP hasn't had a great performance since what, Koscheck 2? Shields was awkward and closer than it should have been, then he had the knee injury. Came back and got dropped by Condit then exploited his awful TDD for a win. Dominated another guy with no TDD in Nick Diaz next, in a dull path-of-least-resistance type fight. Had a life and death with Hendricks, but did beat a very, very good fighter in his prime. Then had the comeback win against Bisping where he took a bit of a beating before rocking and submitting a guy that isn't considered at that top tier, with that degenerative eye.

Point being, he doesn't beat Khabib in 2020. No chance. I see him getting beaten by most elite guys nowadays to be honest, age gets all fighters.

Also, no chance Conor fights Frankie Edgar in December.

I think there's still a question mark in the air as to how, even in spite of how amazing his grappling has been thus far, effective Khabib's strengths may be when faced with someone who can at least impede his progress toward and on the ground. Who's the best wrestler he's faced so far, Kamal Shalorus? Abel Trujillo? Pat Healy? Certainly no one in the same parking lot, much less ballpark, as a GSP.

And I agree with most everything you said there about father time catching up to St. Pierre, but I don't doubt that he's still in good shape, he's a consummate pro, a tireless martial arts practitioner (in so far as the game not totally passing him by out of competition), and he's got an all-time fight iq taking a tool into this potential matchup that Khabib hasn't had to account for throughout his career. A tool that that also happens to be in direct conflict with Khabib's greatest asset.

Like I said, Khabib is the sure favorite, I just don't think it's the completely lopsided contest some are making it out to be.

You have to give GSP props though. Sure, Nick Diaz has poor TDD, but he's a master off his back and a great stand up fighter. He didn't come close to submitting GSP and GSP actually landed more on the feet than Nick did. That's GSP in a nutshell, whatever you think you're good at, he will not only beat you with your own gameplan but he'll do it while implementing his own.

And why no chance Conor v. Frankie in December?

It wasn't a great performance yet he 50-45'd a top 5 welterweight. I guess that summed GSP up really. The GOAT. But in terms of being at the peak of his powers, he was already a step behind, yet it was enough.

Conor stays in the MMA news to sell his clothes and whiskey. I'll believe he's a fighter still when he gets in the Octagon. Until then he's a salesman.

Reyes mowed through Weidman. Nobody's taken a fresh Weidman out like that. Mad that Weidman and Rockhold have only won a fight apiece since their title fight. A combined 7 knockout losses too. Reyes winning so emphatically gives buzz to a Jones title fight.

I'm as equally impressed with Reyes' performance as I am sure that Jon Jones still has no competition at 205.

And I can't put my finger on what it is about Jeremy Stephens that I like when he loses. I assume it's the cringe factor.

But ya, really fun main, co-main last night. Particularly for an ESPN freebie.

And of course the wtf moment of the night by none other than Greg Hardy. He and his corner both, just holy shit wtf.

Jones' lifestyle will catch up to him in the next couple of years. It's whether Reyes, Walker or whoever catch him at the right time. Reyes in 4 months? Maybe not. Reyes in 2 years? Yeah I'd fancy it.

We've certainly seen Jones display a chaotic side to his life outside the cage before, but unless I'm mistaken things have been pretty quiet on that front for a while now, no?

Don't mean to be entirely naive there either, but with the lack of evident tabloid material and him getting a little older and presumably at least a hair wiser safe to presume he may not be on the kind of downward spiral he used to, or that Conor is now for that matter.

Tread on the tires. I wouldn't have faith in him staying clean, particularly during this off season of sorts. He was basically in camp for all of a month between October and July, what else is there to do with that much time for an addict?

I thought it was ballsy of Weidman and the UFC to accept the Reyes fight. What's up with these top tier dudes at 185 moving up and immediately fighting top 5 contenders? And you're putting these chinny motherfuckers like Rockhold and Weidman against dudes with hands. The fact it took Reyes less than what, 2 minutes? Fuck man that was a wrap. I didn't realize that Weidman isn't really that big of a dude.

I know Dana said he should either move back down to 185 or retire. I mean, he did beat Kelvin about 2 years ago. And maybe that's another issue, dude has only fought once a year for like 5 years. But idk...he was always pretty inactive it seemed, injuries more often than not.

Am I alone in thinking that Dominick Reyes smashing Weidman didn't exactly get me pumped for a Jones title fight? Reyes has a decent record don't get me wrong, but did his last 3 fights really make people go "He could hang with Jones". Maybe that last Jones fight opened up the doors to people seeing he's human and if a guy like Santos could go 5 rounds and possibly come close to winning, maybe Reyes has the potential as well......

Take this for what it's worth but if UFC 245 wasn't stacked enough already with 3 title fights, the news hitting the airwaves is that Urijah Faber v. Petr Yan AND Jose Aldo v. Marlon Moraes are in the works. Aldo would be making his debut at 135 against a fucking BEAST.

This card is looking nuts. The weird thing is, 1 of the fights I'm looking forward to the most is Ben Saunders v. Matt Brown. You know someone, probably Killer B, is getting put to fucking sleep. Very excited for the return of Max Holloway as well.

It's a mad fight card. These are 3 genuine World title fights where the champions are all defending against the most deserving contenders. A combined 23-2 in the Octagon for the challengers, with one of those losses being GDR to Nunes herself 6 years ago. Certainly the best card since GSP/Bisping. Then adding Aldo vs. Moraes, the featherweight GOAT vs. the #1 ranked bantamweight, and Faber vs. Yan, the legend against the unbeaten in the Octagon top 5 ranked fighter, mad. Robbie Lawler might remain on the card too. Brown vs. Saunders is a just bleed fan's dream, guaranteed murder, and Aldana vs. Viera and Kara France vs. Moreno are relevant fights in their weight classes. As good as 244 which is more fan friendly in terms of scraps but not as full of elite talent.

I don’t know why everyone is getting so concerned about the aldo weight cut (on MMA sites, not on here), I’ve wanted to see him drop to 135 ever since he started losing to clear natural 155ers or above. I know he talked about going up to 155 before, but I think that was more due to indiscipline and muscle. He is definitely closer to a 135er size wise. 5’7 with a 70 inch reach means that he was dwarfed by McGregor, Holloway, Moicano and though Volkanovski is smaller, he played rugby weighing in at 212lbs, the guy is thick. Then you’ve got Yair Rodriguez, Magomedsharipov, Brian Ortega...these are all BIG guys who I do not believe would be able to maintain as a 145er as long as Aldo has.

I’ve often thought that Aldo started losing when he started facing guys that weren’t NECESSARILY better than him, but were just bigger than him. None of them should remain in the division too much longer. Whereas at bantamweight he’d be a similar size to Moraes, Sterling, smaller than Sandhagen, virtually the same height as Cruz, Dillashaw and Garbrandt, he’d be no more than an inch or two bigger than most of the top 10, as opposed to being 3-5 inches smaller than most of the 145 top 10.

I don’t know if he can make the weight comfortably, but I think that he is one of the top 5 all time MMA greats, so if he can I’m all for it.

I agree with all that. I actually prefer 135 for his legacy as well, just based on who fights at the weight compared to the shark tank that is 145. We could get Cruz vs. Aldo, a bonafide dream fight. If he beats Moraes he's the immediate #1 contender too, and with his TDD you fancy him against Cejudo. Obviously we have to see the weight cut, but it's a better option than fight 175lb men like Khabib and Tony. Worst comes to worst the weight cut sucks and he ends up in the fun fights position with Pettis, Cerrone etc.

Big story making the rounds is Nate Diaz pulling himself out of the Masvidal fight due to being flagged by USADA for possible tainted supplements. He's gone off the fuckin hinge about it, claiming corruption not just on the tainted part but the promotion's part. He's basically saying that the UFC weren't going to act until AFTER the fight but he's pulling himself out to avoid any bullshit apparently.

But I'm hearing that Leon Edwards has been on call in case either guy fell through for whatever reason (injury, USADA, vanishing act).

Another big story is that apparently Randy Couture had a heart attack and actually walked to the hospital himself. That's a tough son of a bitch.

Last but not least, Conor McGregor announced that it's official, his return will be January 18th in Las Vegas, NV. He says the UFC knows who his opponent will be and judging by the rumors, I'm thinking it's Justin Gaethje. Cerrone was in the mix, but Duke Roofus posted something about Anthony Pettis and Cerrone wanting to fight each other next so we'll see.

Hilariously, Nate has been cleared to fight due to contaminated supplements, proved inside a day. Yep, USADA, the same firm that takes months to exonerate fighters like Neil Magny, take ONE DAY to exonerate a main event fighter who is expected to participate in a high drawing event next weekend. What a load of horseshit. Glad that the fight is on, but those double standards. Wow.

Most underrated fighter of all time. 31 fights in the UFC and only finished once, despite never being a threat on his feet. Remarkable. 22 company wins against 9 defeats. Of the 9, Munoz is the only one not to win or challenge for a UFC title. Took a round off most of them. Second most submissions, and has actually become more lethal in recent years with 5 of his last 7 wins coming by rear naked choke. Brilliant man. Give him Diego Sanchez, who has never been submitted. Doesn't make sense ranking wise, but dude will be 42 in a fortnight, he's not going to be champion, give us the fun fights. Cerrone vs. Maia for me is a must as well.

So do we have any idea if Thug Rose is ever going to fight again?

And do we really think Conor is going to fight in January? Schaub made a good point on his show about how he has a couple sexual assault allegations plus the punching old dude in the pub guy....kind of hard to market and promote a fight that might not happen due to legal issues.

Anyone else jacked up about The Rock's announcement tomorrow at the UFC 245 press conference? I have to imagine he's dipping his feet in the UFC. He's represented by the same company that bought the UFC for 4 billion which I didn't even know until reading it a few hours ago lol.

Flogging his tequilla on the Octagon a la Proper Twelve at a guess.

What a fun card on Saturday. Not as deep as 245, but such well matched fights deep into the prelims.

Oh I forgot all about that Tequila...yeah I bet that's all it is.

244 and 245 are going to be monster.

And I guess Till is having visa issues and Kelvin says he's not taking a fight against Jarrod on 2 days notice who is the back up in case something happened.

I'm really not a Gastelum guy. Happy to let opponents face him when he's come in overweight yet happy to dictate when the unforeseen circumstances aren't in his favour. Fortunately Till's good to go. 2 poor weight cutters in the division they belong in.

Well, to make you an even bigger fan....

Kelvin is getting penalized for leaning on his coach during weigh ins. What the fuck?? Has this ever happened before? lol. I really do not like this dude. Ever since TUF where he mentally molested Ronda Rousey when she was a guest coach. Fuck this guy.

Not sure how I feel about The Rock playing Mark Kerr in an upcoming film. Great pub for the Kerr story, but does Rocky really have those kinds of chops?

Masvidal won quite convincingly then, just didn't get the emphatic finish to really cement himself. Having watched MMA for 15 or so years, for me it's a weak stoppage. I can see where the New York commission is coming from in terms of how long it took lobbyists to get the sport in the state and something bad happening would be catastrophic for the figures the passed the bill, but they've been far too conservative in their approach in the 3 years that fights have taken place there, and judging and refereeing hasn't been great. Alas, the card was pretty fantastic and from a fight fan's perspective, the main event displayed all the skill and grit desired through the three rounds, and the right man won. Masvidal will now go on to the title fight against the winner of Usman vs. Covington, and it will be one of the biggest fights of next year. Forget about Conor, he absolutely does not want that smoke. Masvidal would melt him. Too big, too heavy in the clinch, too much heart, too durable.

Next PPV is insanely stacked. 26 fighters, and 18 of them are either champion or ranked in the top 15 of their division by the UFC. Nine ranked fights. Then 2 of the other fights are bangers in Perry vs. Neal and Saunders vs. Brown, the former a chance for Neal to make a statement to get a ranking by his name, and the latter just a slugfest with guys that debuted in the Octagon back in the double digit PPV era.

Gridiron Gang is a good movie to watch if you haven't seen it. The Rock doesn't do a lot of dramas and I have to think this isn't going to be the Fast and Furious type Rock lol.

I don't know what type of range you're expecting out of this type of movie but The Rock can pull it off. If the script is good and they don't try to drag out too many different aspects of Kerr's career/life, I think it'll be great.

Where did this Masvidal-McGregor talk even begin? Was it Masvidal who did the routine calling McGregor out after a decent win? I know Conor talked a little shit about their face off with The Rock but other than that I don't really remember him giving a shit either way. But Masvidal sure has talked about it and for some reason people keep asking him about it as well. 2-3 years ago if that fight came up people would have fucking laughed at the idea of McGregor fighting a guy like Masvidal.

But I love Masvidal, that Till fight was a blessing in disguise, changed his life overnight. Remember when people almost knew who Leon Edwards is? Yeah I told you guys nobody gives a fuck about that fight. Now we have this crazy story brewing with the Usman-Colby fight, and Masvidal is right in the thick of it with those 2 fucks. Get that fight over with, set up the winner v. Masvidal for Super Bowl weekend.

Just considering the deeply troubling elements of Kerr's life that are a must for a film about him that would take a pretty intensely dark range. I suppose I just haven't seen or hear of Rocky pulling anything like that off yet.

He really hasn't had a movie where he needed to deliver that kind of performance. But even if he had that doesn't mean it'll be good.

While disappointing, I was fine with the stoppage. Doctor has to look after the fighters.

I could see both McGregor and Masvidal taking that fight over a title fight.

Rozenstruik, who murdered Arlovski just a couple days ago, has agreed to step in for my man Walt Harris (who is still searching for his stepdaughter) to face Overeem at ESPN 7 on December 7th.

Did you know that Arlovski is 3-10 since returning to the UFC. I'm actually surprised this guy is even still around. It's like them still giving BJ Penn fights, or Frank Mir losing 5 before finally just leaving the company so he could roid up or whatever lol.

So many tales being spun in one year.

How big was Hughes v. Royce?? I remember I was so pumped for the fight, just hoping Royce would shock the world and triangle choke Hughes out cold. Snatch an arm, choke him out with the RNC, something.

Apparently Carlos Condit is out of his fight with Mickey Gall on Dec 7th due to a detached retina. DAMN! And I'm not sure what it says about Condit's career when he's fighting Mickey Gall, but hey, so did Diego Sanchez not that long ago. But I noticed after someone pointed out that Condit has only won 2 out of his last 10 fights.....He's one of my favorites, always sucks to see a guy like that fall so hard.

Not a bad looking card this Saturday for UFC FN 164.

Jacare v. Jan Blachowicz. Jacare looking to be another MW standout to move up to LHW. Jan is no joke. I always wonder if the desire for these top ranked MW's to make a big splash right off the bat is worth it? Seems like the guys at MW who have done well at LHW were lower ranked. But you look @ Rockhold, Weidman, both were killed at 205. Jacare I hope can make a smooth transition, always a very entertaining fighter. Imagine Jacare v. Jon Jones though....

Shogun Rua is on the card, always exciting. Not sure if I've seen Paul Craig. Would have been nice to see the original match up w/ Sam Alvey.

Also on the card, Charles Oliveira, Renan Barao, Sergio Moraes v. James Krause should be nice. Warlley Alves is on the card. I'd be shocked if this card sucked.

Have you ever posted here with an attitude above "meh" lol

This fight is going to be fire bomb level sweet. Cerrone by fact is the most violent dude in the UFCs history. More wins more finishes more bonuses and even looks violent in defeat.

McGregor needs this win badly and honestly so does the sport. A lot of carbon copies, it'll be nice to have the original back in the mix. People want to sweat on him and act like he sucks bcuz he took 2 years off, fought a top 10 of all time boxer, then fought arguably the best in the world combat fighter Khabib and lost.....like everyone else lol

I think Cerrone has what it takes and vice versa. Plus it's at WW which is crazy to me.

About a ton of fighters and fights, yes.

Have you ever actually read any of my (or anyone else's) posts?

You sure? I know you're pretty brittle when met with confrontation.

I don't see how someone can pretend this fight is mediocre.
