I'm marking out hard that they're shooting this using a DRONE.

Great to have Mauro back, but it is a shame that he couldn't be there last week for the triple threat for the NA title. Just by the looks of it, seems like he was able to record this from home (kind of like how Roberts and Phillips did last week).
Good touch for Candice LeRae to have the HBK-themed attire for the match. I didn't get the quick cutaways from the table and ladder spot. The spot with Stone and Green probably would have been more gratifying if they spent more time in making them annoying but it was still a fun spot by both of them. I'm here for Io and Charlotte. That's going to be a heck of a first defense for Charlotte. I still don't know if Io is supposed to be a face, heel, or just a tweener. I think WWE wants to book Charlotte like a face but she just comes across as a heel. Either way, the match is going to be awesome.
It was good on them to show what happened on NXT UK with Bálor and Imperium because I doubt a lot of people actually saw it. That segment where Imperium, in full, came out to confront Bálor was actually quite cool. Interesting choice of words by Bálor to discuss how they both have "creative control" over their own worlds yet neither of them can do what they want to do. Walter has something to do in the interim, but they've got to figure out what Bálor is going to do in the meantime.
It's probably a matter of randomness but I realized the people kidnapped both lost to Kushida prior to those incidents. I doubt that means anything, but it might be something to put a pin in.
The match with Indus Sher was way too long for a squash to get them over. I did appreciate the "De-fense" chant from Ever Rise, though.
The commercials were a drag for the Gargano/Ciampa match but there's nothing available to work around that. I have to think a rewatch on the network is going to be better. I liked the lighting a lot for the ring area, but the camera cuts were overdone. It was quite the choice to go without commentary for the match. I think it worked, for the most part, because Ciampa and Gargano's trash talking helped. Same for Drake in terms of his questioning of the continuation. It would have been hilarious if the masked kidnappers pulled up while Ciampa and Gargano were on the truck, saw what was happening, and just decided tonight wasn't there night for a kidnapping. I think this did a better job with more verbal intensity to keep the monotony from being overbearing compared to Edge and Orton. HELL of a finish to have the paper bag from Candice, her kick, and the swerve. It's an interesting finish, considering this was supposed to be the last of Gargano/Ciampa.
The match did a convincing job of firmly establishing Gargano (and now potentially) Candice as heels, and now they've got a pair in Kross and Scarlett looming.

Yeah, the camera cuts for Garago/Chomper were god awful. Whoever directed it to be that way needs a smack on the head.
