At least they made Liv still strong by having Becky cheat. Toni/Charlotte, to start off with wasn’t bad but the DQ finish still making Charlotte wreck her was awful. Yeah Toni may get a rematch for the title via a DQ but it’s all come across like Toni isn’t being treated that seriously save getting a pie in the face on Charlotte’s return.

Meh. I don't care if she comes back or not. I think sometimes she tried to hard to blur the lines with what she would say and do on social media and what not and it just didn't work.
That would turn Becky face again. No way she stays face, even if they wanted her to.
But it would be an interesting feud for Becky. Something she largely hasn't had post WM main event (given she was out for a while).
Not saying she hasn't had some fun moments. But I felt like I knew how every match was going to end before it started.
The only recent performer that I felt that way about in the last 10 years that it didn't matter for was current era Roman Reigns. Which I don't mean as a knock against Becky, as much as a compliment to Roman.
I always kinda felt like she was responding to others in those situations. Like it genuinely seemed to me that she didn't like Becky and got annoyed by her comments.
I imagine Fox may have a suggestion on where she goes.
Reading these comments shows Ronda did a great job. 30-40+ year old men getting WORKED. Was she serious or wasn't she? Imagine if 1 woman on the roster had that going for her, or even 1 man.
What I like about Ronda are the haters. The ones who dwell on her dipping out of the public eye after losing to Holly and then Nunes smoked her and suddenly none of the people are good. But it's like someone said yesterday, obviously Ronda is phenomenal or beating her wouldn't have mattered. But it did, and not a single woman in MMA has come close to drawing like she did.
Same for wrestling. Ronda came in and changed the game. They put women in the main event of WrestleMania and we can partially thank Ronda for that. I'm sure women would have eventually main evented WrestleMania especially with splitting Mania into 2 nights. But just a few years ago who was main eventing Mania against Becky? Charlotte? People were already over Charlotte including her insertion which was still pointless.
Not interested in a Ronda return, by any stretch.
The company really needs to keep working on building new stars rather than panic moves that go back in time.
I think Ronda did pretty job. I think a stretch to say great job. She picked up things in the ring real quick and think given more time her mic skills would have been better. She definitely was getting better and more comfortable in the ring. She did help push women to the main event of WrestleMania. Her name value is what got it there. I was enjoying her run at the beginning but about the time they started pushing the storyline to get to WrestleMania I was kind of over her and despite seeing Becky and Flair go at it a million times by that point I would have preferred to see them instead of the triple threat we got. I would have taken that over Becky and Ronda which at one point I had looked forward to seeing. I think she will do fine if she comes back but I am not sure I want to see her pushed to the moon again.

Im for a Rousey return, I wonder how the fans will react. My favorite part of the RR matches is when they build up like like 5-10 jobbers and have someone come in a clean house and that’s something I can see Ronda doing. But my hopes of Lita getting the upset win are completely dashed now.
I think it's very surprising. I would assume Becky v. Ronda would be the obvious. Ronda's only loss was to Becky. Charlotte seems like a waste of time for Mania. I'd rather see Charlotte v. Sasha at Mania.
I'm not sure its going to be a huge change. .
I assume that Naomi will finish her feud. Rhea is in neutral with Nikki. i don't see them being cut right now. Liv might have a shot to keep some momentum.
I could easily see Asuka being lost in the shuffle, as she has been before.
Alexa I see as having something to do. She's pretty over, and hasn't needed the belt. -I'd like to see her with a faction, but that's a tangent.
Ronda (according to reports) looking to be active through Wrestlemania 2023. that's a good run, and a decent amount of opportunities for her to get some folks over.
I thought it was going to be Ronda vs. Becky, but I think the Charlotte feud to start can make sense. Charlotte is a great worker. She can work with Ronda's significant strengths. Charlotte is better at getting the crowd to boo than Becky (could change with a few more months). They've got some history from the first time Ronda started to pick up boos.
And allows Becky to work with someone else to give someone else a shot to get some run (Bianca, Liv, Asuka). I think there's more decent potential feuds for WM, w/o Ronda. on the Raw side.
With Charlotte, Sahsam Becky, Bianca, Ronda, Bayley, and maybe Asuka....One could argue that the women may have SS/WM/RR main event worthy combos then the men do.
If I'm Ronda, and I win the Rumble, I'm looking to beat the person who gave me my first L. Who is a champion, and who has bragged about being a champion the entire time Ronda's been gone.
I don't really see the story or the value in Charlotte v. Ronda, at least if we're talking Mania. If I'm booking, I'd put Charlotte Flair v. Sasha Banks on the SD side and Becky v. Ronda on the Raw side.
If I'm Ronda, I'm going after the very person I'm booked to go after.
At the end of the day we need to see Ronda take on Becky and Charlotte separately because there is unfished business on all fronts. But yeah if I am Ronda I am going after Becky who gave me my first loss and still has the belt I had before that. Plenty of time to go after Charlotte as well. At least they are not talking another triple threat.
Not arguing that Becky makes sense from a storyline perspective. Just saying the Charlotte storyline doesn't seem a stretch. There could be some fun ways to delay the Becky thing. For all I know, Ronda preferred to work with Charlotte coming back

Aries is a good call-out. Just think with social media mobs being more of a thing, WWE is less likely to pull someone like Tessa. Particularly if she looks like an ongoing problem.

Mrs. Mazer and I have debated this. She ranks Caitlin number 1 on the show. Completely disagree with her on that. Iris is distinctly hotter.

A few thoughts on the women's roster right now.
Bianca has earned her spot at the top, and while Becky is more than credible, I am looking forward to Belair mixing it up with Rhea, while Becky and Asuka deal with each other. I hope they give Belair/Rhea a good amount of time.
Meanwhile, we still haven't heard Alexa Bliss on the mic discussing what character development she's all about. Alexa is so much better on the mic than she is in the ring (where her size makes her offense completely look weak, but she is great at selling). We haven't seen the Playground, but she is still carrying Lilly around.
Nikki ASH has become JTTS. I like Nikki ASH but don't think the heel turn has helped her at all. They seemed to tease her getting involved with Doudrop, and I am hoping there is a longer plan to turn Nikki back to face, while getting Doudrop even more heat. I am high on Doudrop and think they've been booking her better to show off her strength.
Carmella is money, and should be used better. Keep her away from the talentless Queen Zelina. Tamina is apparently still on the roster.
Dana Brooke just got a win over Becky, but the way she was treated shows how little they think of the 24/7 title.
The Lacey Evans vignettes make me wonder why the WWE did not use her this way from the get go. This seems to be a really long build for a re-debut.
Sonya Deville was doing well in her role as co-GM, but I wonder if she was scheduled to have more of a story with suspended Naomi.
I doubt we see Sasha for several years, and they probably won't allow Naomi back until well after the women's tag tourney is settled.
Over on the Smackdown side, Ronda needs a credible challenger. I am really hoping Bayley and Charlotte return soon. Natalya can be used only as a placeholder for so long. Is Shayna hurt? I think Shayna would only need a few weeks of squashing opponents to remind us how strong she can be.
Aliyah has only shown how green she is. I want to see more from Raquel, but she impresses me, and I think they've protected her well so far.
After looking at this, I can see why the WWE is having a hard time coming up with a women's tag tournament.
They can probably put Nattie and Tamina back together, as well as Carmella and Zelina. Maybe put Doudrop and Nikki ASH together as well. But who else?

I'll also question why people think the 24/7 title is supposed to mean something more than a comedy belt. The only chance that belt has of being something of worth is if they do what they did when RVD and Undertaker were Hardcore champion. While they can't kill the 24/7 rule, what they can do is make the champion so credible a bunch of rums won't be able to just come out of nowhere and roll him up.
I will say that it reminds me heavily of DDT's Heavymetal championship. It's a comedy belt. Scott Hall won it or lost it here in Des Moines at a random show lol. i wouldn't put too much stock in a belt that is being passed around between Dana Brooke, Tamina, and Tozowa--but it's definitely a fun part of the show.
Can't say I really disagree with anything else. Definitely agree about Raquel, Bianca, and the need to get Bayley and Charlotte back.
I also noticed you didn't mention Alexa Bliss. Bliss is someone who I feel like is young enough to still be a player, but her battles with concussions and whatever reason for her being off tv so much since Summerslam makes me wonder what's going on with her. They've never really treated her as a background character, she's always on camera doing something. Seems like she's just rebuilding herself now.

I did forget to talk about Liv Morgan. I kind of feel that she's putting in her dues, like Doudrop is now, but there is a better future for her. As long as they don't have her keep losing clean so much.
Liv was the MVP in that 4-Way on RAW. Allot of fans are pushing for a tag team with her and Bliss so at the very least, give Liv the tag titles.
In a kayfabe sense, Liv should be on red alert when it comes to trusting people lol...especially Alexa.

Liv is someone I just haven't really been sold on. She had her place in that B-movie version of Absolution. For me what really killed all her momentum was the Lana storyline. It was soooo bad. Hard to recover from those kind of storylines. Good luck to her. It's crazy because I'm thinking 10 years ago she would've been champ 2-3x by now. But on this roster.....There's definitely better choices both new and old. I'm not against her getting that "finally she won a title!" moment though. She's grinding.

It is bad timing. The women's title scene is pretty full so she's going to have a hard time breaking through and getting that singles title run. Liv would be perfect for the tag division, but we all know how that's gone. It still blows my mind they gave Natalia and Tamina a tag title run instead of the Riott Squad.
I can almost see Liv winning MITB, immediately cashing in, and then losing it the title just as quick. WWE loves those surprise cash ins right after the PPV and Liv could fit the bill.
Yeah timing is everything. When you look at the top 10 women in the company, is she one of them? How about the top 20 in the entire company including the NXT brands, and at least in the 4 years or so she's been on the main roster she's been given stuff to do more often than not. Even if it was bad. That shows they give at least 1 fuck about her.
100% agree Riott Squad should've had a run with the tag belts. If we had a crystal ball and knew Ruby was getting released maybe that would've been possible. They're not really playing the long game with Liv but I do think when she does finally win a singles title it'll be an even bigger moment because of her journey. She's only been wrestling for about 8 years now. That seems like a long time but when the first 3 were in developmental and again, you're competing in a very, very talented women's roster....
I mean, how many times do you think Kabal won Mortal Kombat? Probably none. She'll get there. Honestly I think if they have Rhea beat Bianca, the logical choice to dethrone Rhea even for a short reign would be Liv.

I would love for Adam Pearce to announce, maybe 10 minutes in to the Bianca/Becky match, that he's just been informed there is a new competitor being added to their match. They can play Carmella's music, she starts to come down, the fans boo the hell out of her, then on her way to the ring, Bayley attacks Carmella, joins the match, and pins Becky to win the title. Pop would be amazing.
