Did anyone watch the Bill Murray Christmas Special on Netflix? It was weird but enjoyable and got me in the Christmas spirit.
The wife and I gave it a watch. It was a bit underwhelming and meandering but was fun enough.
Dr Who looks canny enough, mind after building all the kids stuff this year, eating the 19lb Turkey the Mrs will cook, putting away the bottle of reserve port in my cabinet and wiring in two new TVs and an Xbox I'll probably be unconscious by 6.
I dunno why but I always feel the need to go on a a Hitchcock binge at Christmas.

I still like panel shows, Cats Countdown in particular is good fun. The only one that feels properly tired and outdated to me is HIGNFY.
I've certainly missed Charlie Brooker's wipes this year, and Black Mirror didn't make up for it no matter what anyone says. Nope.

We've had fun playing along with The Quiz Of The Year thing before, with drinks, pen and paper. Always better when Richard Ayoade is on.

Cats Countdown is one of my favourite TV shows. I don't particularly like Jimmy Carr, but Rachel Riley is one of the most sensational bits of fucking filth I've ever seen in my life. I love her. I mght try and meet her and fuck her.
8/10 is still good, I like Taskmaster on Dave as well which is sort of panel showish.

Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be on ITV, I think on the 28th, so I might tune in for that...just to troll the one mate of mine who's a Gwen fan.

Taskmaster is probably one of the best shows on TV in the past few years. I heard that there are two more series in the pipeline, which is excellent.
I loved how many times Al Murray just threw, what I'd consider, serious amounts of his own cash at asks. And his big gong.
"This year", I don't think he's made a series of them for about 5 years. And also I don't think anyone is suggesting that Black Mirror is an alternative.
The last series of Weekly Wipe was last year. Also I saw and read interviews with Brooker while he was promoting Black Mirror and he stated in both that there would have been a Screenwipe series this year (with reference to how shit of a year it's been) if he hadn't devoted his time to working on Black Mirror.
All the years merge together mate.
I really wish they did. She's from the posh part of Southend, obviously.

Anybody been watching A Christmas Carol on BBC? Guy Pearce as Scrooge. Excellent piece of Christmas Telly, even if it does take some liberties with the source material. Wonder how they'll get everything wrapped up tonight.
