If anyone questioned weather Marquez was a drug cheat or not, you can have a look at his backne and know definitively that the answer is yes.

I'm happy Manny lost. I don't follow boxing that closely but from what I have seen from Manny in interviews, he really is garbage.

I gotta watch myself though. I was at a xmas work party on Saturday night and my office is probably a quarter Filipino, the girl I took with me was Filipino, and they were pretty much everywhere.

Anyway, everyone is dancing and having a merry time and the dj stops the song and says "I'm sorry to report but Manny Pacquiao just got knocked out in the 7th round." Cue a lot of boos and some were even tearing up and starting cry...

Then I shout out, "Nice, I fucking hate that guy." I got some dirty looks, and my date looked at me like wtf is wrong with you.

Boxing champion Manny Pacquiao is pointedly criticizing President Barack Obama's recent endorsement of gay marriage, calling it offensive to his religion.

In an interview, the religious Pacquiao said that Obama's view was nothing more than a direct attack on the morals of society and the will of God.

"God only expects man and woman to be together and to be legally married, only if they so are in love with each other," Manny Pacquiao said.

"It should not be of the same sex so as to adulterate the altar of matrimony, like in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah of old," he added, citing the Bible.

He described same-sex marriage as an "abomination" and went on to say that America should be the model of morality for other countries to emulate.

Recently voted Forbes' fourth most influential athlete, the World Boxing Organization welterweight champion is regarded by many as the best pound-for-pound boxer on the planet, and already has a burgeoning career out of the ring.

He is a member of the Philippines legislature, hosts a weekly TV game show and has his own vegetable business. Manny Pacquiao also hopes to become a leading Christian evangelist after having a religious "awakening."

Last week, Obama became the first U.S. president to publicly back gay marriage.
    what a muppet...

    A-Force is BACK.

...and talking about World Titles again

I would bloody love it so much if he somehow, someway, managed to win one now. What a role model.

So David Price got beat last night, he shouldn't really be losing to someone like Tony Thompson but like he said these things happen and it's now about how quick he can bounce back,

    Was gutted for him though.

Audley is the man, I've done a complete 360 on the guy, love him.

As for David Price, he took a shot on the side of the head, and perforated his ear drum. Not a lot you can do about that, so no big deal, he'll be fine.

Audley is a cunt and so is anyone who pays to watch him.

Price shouldn't have taken that right, why were his hands so low?

Because he hasn't had to worry about anything coming back so far in his pro career. Technically he looks poor, and there will always be questions over his chin after getting knocked over so many times as an amateur. Whether the perforated eardrum from a nothing shot in this fight was a freak or a sign of innate vulnerability in a disproportionately small looking head.

A shame as he seems a really sound bloke.

He boxed like absolute shit. Sparked by a cruiserweight. Then spent the next few rounds trying to box on the inside, despite the fact he's about 3 foot taller than Cunningham. Despite his glaring flaws, Fury's fights are always great fun, and it was a bastard of a punch he caught Cunningham with.

Anyway, next Saturday, The redemption of Audley continues, when he takes out the new yank hype machine, Deontay Wilder. YES HE CAN.

He's got no brain that's the problem, he throws a jab like a cannon but can't use it and he has no defence at all.

But the short upper-cut to the body and the sharp finishing right were devastating.

Fair play, not for any sporting sense, but he earns money getting punched in the face one every few months.

    I'd take that.

I doubt he believes what he's saying. Surely not.

Yep it was a cracking fight once Kessler got going, Froch was excellent too.

No, he's a massive twat. Embarrassing to listen to to be honest, and not good enough in the ring to compensate. Though he is decent.

So then, David Price has found his level. Match against Audley in a battle for the biggest disappointment.

Froch v Groves on for the end of the year. Should be a good fight that. Definitely won't be the walkover for Froch that a lot of people are already predicting.

So depressed and hurt by his brother's suicide, knowing the consequences such an action has on the people around you...that he did the same himself.

Admittedly, dont know the story. It is a shame though.

Mayweather/Alvarez and Matthysse/Garcia is basically the best boxing card on paper in a decade.

Deontay Wilder had a 28-0 record with 28 knockouts coming into his bout against Sergey Liakhovich. He notched his 29th KO in a little under two minutes in the first round, causing Liakhovich to convulse and fall into the fencing response.

For somebody with a 29-0 or record, Wilder still looks sloppy as shit. Even in that gif you can just see him aimlessly winging hooks in. Same as the fight he had with Audley. Some of the punches he was throwing in that fight were closer to hitting me. As soon as he gets thrown in with anyone half decent, he's going to be given a lesson.

That is an absolutely outrageous robbery.

    Beltran the clear winner.

All credit to Ricky though - 9 rounds with a dislocated jaw, the bloke can't even talk. Tough bastard.

(And I put a fiver on the draw at the end of the ninth )

That was a fucking travesty, felt so sorry for the guy. His interview was brilliant though - if a bit tragic. They must've already decided that Burns was winning on points but because Beltran clearly won they just made it a draw.

It's so bad for the sport. Even though I was jumping round like a loon when Buffer said "ONE FOURTEEN,.."

Doesn't encourage the best to come over here does it. HAS to be a rematch.

Canelo made weight easy, but man he looked small. Will be interesting to see how much he puts on by bell time tomorrow. Also, unless he has found some new found speed in his fighting style his best hope might be to somehow catch Floyd with a bomb.

Anyone see the Sky Ringside on Froch and Groves? It all got a bit tense. Think there's a lot of genuine dislike there.

James Toney looked awful on prizefighter last night. Don't think it will be long before he's diagnosed with some horrendous mental illness.

Anthony Joshua looks every bit the athlete though, they are certainly firing him through his opponents at the moment. Fighting again underneath froch and groves. I'm sure they said he was fighting 6 times in 10 weeks. Mental even if it is against wanky fighters

Not as active as Hughie Fury. Who's been fighting all over the world, often for free.

Considering Joshua's stature in the amateur game I don't think there's anything particularly stunning about his progress. It's decent management from Eddie, nothing more.

Seeing James Toney at 45 being one of the oldest competitive boxers make it even more remarkable what George Foreman managed to do at the same age...or what Bernard Hopkins is still doing at 48.

Hopkins is a freak. Foreman is one of the most frightening punchers in history so if he landed (which he did) he'd knock just about anybody out. That Hopkins can still get by on reflexes and his boxing brain is crazy considering THIRTY 8 is often the right time for the knacker yard. Seems like a bit of muppet but professionally speaking he's on another level for sportsmen, admirable.

Foreman's conditioning was impressive for a man his age though. Toney looked a mess going more than one round last night.

Against who? Sierra? Anderson? Paul fucking Smith?

    Different levels.

I can see him outboxing Froch for periods of the fight but there's no way he's knocking him out. Carl will get to him and then unleash hell. And I will be celebrating when it happens.

Obviously he is going to say that. And obviously Groves will say it shouldn't. His legs were going anyway. Better stopped early than brain damage. Something close to your heart, surely?

I'm far from a boxing expert but, for all the controversy, it seemed to me like Froch was closing in on victory anyway wasn't he?

Possibly, but points wise he was losing. I reckon he would have knocked him out before the end but I'm a bit bias. Groves made him look pretty vulnerable. Still, Forest 1 London 0.

The fight was stopped for safety reasons and rightfully so.

Bollocks, why wasnt it stopped for Froch's safety when he was getting a beating for the first six?

Groves was not defending himself in anyway when the fight was stopped.
