I'm perhaps a little biased, because he's in my RFF team, but Billy McKay to be SPL top goal scorer at 14/1 is pretty ridiculous. Higdon, Hooper and Griffiths, all strong scorers last year, have all left SPL. McKay was only three goals off from being top scorer last year, and he didn't even start playing regularly until November. He's been in amazing form in pre-season as well, scoring twelve goals.
McKay's competition are Stokes, who I don't think Lennon believes in and won't play consistently once Hopper is replaced, and McGinn, who has a good chance but is shorter odds at 10's.

Sorry, I've only just revisited this thread since that post. He was 14's at a couple of places, BetVictor was definitely one from memory. He was 10's and 12's mostly, any of which were great prices as I would have thought he'd have been around 6's as well.

Alright, don't shoot me if it doesn't come off, but I think Inverness away to Celtic at 6/1 looks very interesting. Celtic have an "injury crisis" at the moment with Georgios Samaras, James Forrest, Derk Boerrigter, Anthony Stokes and Kris Commons all very doubtful. They played away in midweek in a Champions League qualifier, and they're bound to have one eye on the return leg on Wednesday given that they're 2-0 down and desperately need a huge performance. Plus Inverness are currently top of the league with three wins out of three, not even conceding a goal. Very tempted.

Barrow are 15/2 with Skybet to win at Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup on Sunday. Barrow are undefeated in twenty games in all competitions while Bristol Rovers have been in poor form recently and lost their last home game 5-1. I've seen Barrow a few times this season (my dad was born there) and they're a good team, very solid in defence and good at set plays. They also have two strikers full of confidence and regularly scoring goals. They won 4-1 at Dagenham & Redbridge last week who were near the top of the Conference. Barrow's midweek game at Macclesfield was postponed so they've had a full week to rest and prepare. All logic suggests that this will be a close game and 15/2 is crazy value.

The odds came in massively to about 19/4 before the start. I could've cashed out for a 50% profit before kick-off. Good way of gambling that - find the value, wait for the odds to change then cash out before the event has even taken place. Can't lose.
