Ladbrokes have slashed the price on Moshni to 8/1. Get in quick, chaps.

I've put a tenner on Moshni to score anytime. I've put a fiver on first goalscorer too (28/1 on skybet)

Right, this may sound a bit stupid but how would I go about putting on a bet for this guy to score? I am not a massive gambling man but when I do I tend to just stick to the accumulator. So I have no knowledge on how to do anything else.

You're right that does sound a bit stupid.

Find the match on the card. There should be an option called something like 'More Bets'. Click into that, find the first goalscorer/score anytime markets and then add the bet to your betting slip.

    MOHSNI STARTS IN ATTACK
Posted on: Tue 25 Jan 2011

Bilel Mohsni will play upfront against Macclesfield Town this evening with striker Barry Corr struggling with a knee injury.

Mohsni, normally a defender, played in attack in the final stages of Friday's 1-1 draw with Bury scoring the equalising game.

    745. Easiest night's work ever.

A mate of mine has won 680 on this already but put 2 on a hat-trick at 250/1 so if Moshni gets two more then he's done over a grand.

Moshni is 33/1 to score first on Saturday away at Barnet too. Plus 12/1 any time and 250/1 for a hattrick. I suspect that he won't be that long for long. Fill yer boots, lads

Corr came on for Moshni after an hour so he seems to be fit enough. I think Moshni will start on Saturday now though. He's scored two and should have had another three.

The 190 I made is going to pay for most of my holiday to Amsterdam next week. I was seriously thinking I might not be able to go.

I owe it all to Beefy.

Beef, if Corr is fit will Mohsni not be needed in defence cos of Coughlin being old and unable to play that many games?

Just wondering whether to put any of my winnings on the new price.

Yeah, I know. That's why I'm asking Beef. If it was still 28/1 or whatever then I'd have had a fiver even with the risk of him being in defence but now I'm not so sure.

Paddypower don't have any League Two betting at all at the moment.

I wouldn't put him on at 8s. Coughlan has played a lot of games lately but Mark Phillips is finally fit after four months out so if Sturrock thinks that Coughlan needs a rest then Phillips can come in.

It actually wouldn't surprise me if Moshni doesn't go back to defence again. Sturrock was talking earlier about Kenwyne Jones who he turned into a centre-forward from centre-half. Moshni has played there for a game and a half and been rampant. I doubt he'll be defending any time soon.

I think he's a great bet at 33s. At 8s he's just another striker. Look around though as it's possible that one of the bookies might not have caught on.

No problem, Andy. Just wire me my 10%.

Were he to score a hat-trick on Saturday, including the first goal, he'll have won me a total of 1,977 which will pay for four or five days in Vegas.

I'm wondering who will be the first to sign him in RFF.

Just saw that you had already signed him

FYI, apparently Corals still have Moshni at 20/1 to score first on Saturday vs Barnet for anyone who wants to chase the very end of that particular gravy train.

Was just about to come in and stay the same thing! 13/2 anytime 20/1 1st or last goalscorer. Some of the winnings from last night will go on that again I reckon.

I don't think it will. It's asking a huge amount

BUT if he does score first I win 810

It's definitely a good value bet. I wish I'd put a lot more on it last night at 33/1

Aberdeen are around 2/1 to beat Inverness away tonight. Since Craig Brown came in they have played 6, won 4, drawn 1 and lost 1 and are looking a much better side.

It's good value given the context.

I love Beefy. Just whacked on 20 from the win last night on B'Ham, Celtic, Rangers and Liverpool. Another 135 back.

There have been some tremendous tips and wins in here recently. Didn't see Alex's tip but would've gone for it if I had because of my boy Nick Blackman. Did go for a Liverpool, Rangers, Celtic, Madrid, Barca, AC Milan accy which netted me a nice 60.

I did put a tenner of Meireles first scorer though so that puts me at a cool 325 profit over the last 24 hours. Beautiful. Lets keep it going boys we're on a roll here.

Incidentally with Boyle Sports you can put everything you own on Yala Bolaise to be the 1st goalscorer in the Barnet v Southend game this weekend. He literally hasn't played for us in about 18 months now....

Unless he's signed for Southend and I've missed it?!

Mohsni aside, I'm quite tempted to pile on Southend at 7/4.

We're unbeaten in 4. I reckon it'll stay that way to be honest. Fairclough has started at the back and is working his way forward apparently. Changed the goalie straight away, then double training for the defenders which has seen Uddin and Devera become unbeatable recently, and he's been working on midfield all this week with passing and moving being the focus.

    I genuinely think it'll be a 0-0 on saturday.

I opened up an online account with Paddy Power. Was going to open up one with Willam Hill but they were being twats and it wouldn't let me register.

First bet I do? Mohsni to score first at 7/1.

We've scored in our last 15 games which is the longest run in the division, we've won our last three on the road and we have Bilel Mohsni. Banker away win.

I'm on the train up to town for the game now. Can't wait.

Thinking of putting my winnings from Southend on Wolves at 11/8. They've put a half decent team out and Milijas will dominate that midfield.

Southend United's Bilal Mohsni could be set for a move to the Premier League, skysports.com understands.

    http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...706897,00.html

Superb. Good on him. He and Collocini would have the best hair in the Premier League.

Paul Sturrock, or someone very close to him, posts on ShrimperZone and said this morning that Sturrock has advised Mohsni to stay here til the Summer at least and that Bilel is more than happy to do that. I hope so. The guy is the most charismatic player we've had in years but is extremely raw.

    He was immense yesterday.

He/She joined a day or two after Sturrock arrived, with a location which was the town where Sturrock grew up in. He's only posted about twenty times and always starts his post with "a wee birdie told me..." and he/she just posts little snippets of information which generally offer a slightly different perspective on an area where the manager is being criticised.

Sturrock has admitted that his daughter monitors the boards for him so it's probably her.

Fulham have scored 15 goals in their last 4 home league games. We've scored 3 away goals in our last 4 away games.

It's bizarre that Fulham are odds against against us tomorrow.

Still, good work Alex The tips in here have been excellent recently.

Forest, Leeds, Brighton, Peterborough & Northampton. An accumulator and ten trebles.

Also got a fiver on Blackpool to win at Everton (6/1) a fiver on Man United to win at Wolves after coming from behind (8/1), a fiver on UK Blue's boxing tip (to win by KO, TKO or DQ at 12/1) and a probably stupid 35 on a Southend & Spurs double seeing as I'm going to White Hart Lane tomorrow when I should be at Roots Hall.

Barrow to beat Wrexham at home at 5/2 (Coral) is excellent value. Should have a strong team out tomorrow which hasn't been the case for a while. Wrexham are due a loss.

This bet really kicks off in the next couple of weeks. United are still looking good for the league, although they still have to play a lot of the other elite teams in the next few weeks. England and France both looked good in the opening 6 nations matches but with both of them having to travel to Dublin I am still uneasy about Ireland ruining it.

Miami and LA have both picked up lately and will hopefully grab top 2 seedings in their respective conferences, and finally the Premier League starts tonight and having won the Players' Championship at the weekend Phil Taylor has got to have regained some confidence.

    COME ON

India to win the ICC World Cup at 11/4 is good value. They're in top form in the warm ups (they hit 360 against New Zealand the other day) and it's on their home turf.

Update on my bet as I know you're all keen on following

PDC Premier League: Taylor OR Whitlock
Whitlock has had a horrible start and is the only player without a point after the first two matches. Taylor lost heavily the first week against Lewis but came back strongly beating Mark Webster in style Thursday night, scoring the highest average we've seen so far. Whitlock is bottom at the moment whilst Taylor is 7th on leg difference but is tied on points with 2nd

ICC Cricket World Cup: India OR Australia
Started this morning and as I type this India are closing in on victory in the opener against Bangladesh. Australia start on Monday against Zimbabwe I think.

Snooker World Championship: Higgins OR O'Sullivan
Doesn't start till mid-April, Higgins is currently in the semi's of the Welsh and looking in good form whilst Ronnie has been pretty crap. Withdrawing late from the German Masters and exiting the Welsh in the first round. Always question marks as to whether he's bothered outside of the worlds though.

NBA Championship: Miami Heat OR LA Lakers
It's the All-Star break so a chance to assess everyone. Miami are 2nd in the East at the moment but have a favourable schedule remaining so hopefully can nick the top seed for the play-offs. The Lakers have been hot and cold recently but as long as they get a top 4 seed they are still a class apart in the west.

IRB Six Nations: England OR France
Can almost consider this one done but I don't want to until it's mathematically impossible. It's gonna be very difficult for any of the others to take over these two after last weekends results. England look very good and are slight favourites ahead of the frogs.

Premiership: Man Utd OR Man City
Everyone knows this one. United are still heavy favourites and I fancy them to collect enough points to win it even though their remaining fixtures are tougher than anyone else's.

Champions League: Barcelona OR Real Madrid
Again, obvious where this stands. Barca should still progress and Real begin again this Tuesday in Lyon.

Europa League: Man City OR Porto OR Zenit
City got a nice 0-0 in Greece and should take Aris at Eastlands, Zenit led in Switzerland at HT against Young Boys but gave it away either end of the 2nd half to trail 2-1 going back to Russia which should be enough as Young Boys (Fenerbahce aside) don't travel well. Porto won 2-1 in Seville so hopefully can see that out in Portugal, their odds have been slashed on Betfair and they are now 2nd favourites.

    Cooooooooome oooonnn

It's 25/1 for a 0-0 draw tonight. Speculative but at that price I'm going to have a couple of quid. Barca only need a draw afterall.
