These 2 Auld Firms coming up are the most important in years. It doesn't get much more interesting than an Auld Firm with so much riding on it.

Not that it'll make any difference, Rangers are still going to win the league, but it was nice to see them get beat.

Hope this doesn't keep Strachan in a job, however. Get him to fuck.

That goal was gutting. I still think we will win the league, but it would have been nice to have the title wrapped up. The players gave it their all, so I can't fault them.

It was a rather mental game. It reminded me of how Old Firm Games used to be, which is a positive thing. If Strachan continues to use 4-4-2 against us, we will win more than we lose.

I just hope that this doesn't fuck up our European form. I presume that Shagger will be alright in a few days.

Fair play to Celtic for winning, they kept going until the final whistle.

Once it was clear McGregor was injured, Celtic should have been pounding shots in on him. They did fuck all and tried to give it to McGeady every time.

There was the spell in the first half where it looked like Celtic would run away with it, but again, only one goal came from it.

McDonald isn't a target man. Why try to give the ball to him to hold up when he's against stronger and better players?

I'll expand on this tomorrow when I'm totally sober, but:

Celtic are lucky, cheating, coniving bastards. And, tonight, their fans were filthy animals.

PS: Berne, for someone who hasn't been bothered much by the SPL this year and hasn't "even watching watching games" this year, you're really showing up now that you lot eventually won a game, eh?

Was only half watching this at work, but it looked like Barry Robson should have been sent off after about 30 seconds? And surely Caldwell will be in trouble. Also, is Cuellar banned for the next Celtic game now?

Robson should have been booked, wouldn't say it was a red. I think for a straight red you're banned for the next competitive game?

I just heard someone at work say it was the Celtic game because that's the next league game.

Looked like a deliberate elbow from Robson to me.

I don't think he even caught Dailly with it. Looked like he just wanted to go in hard, which he did.

Booking if the ref wants to stamp his authority on the game early, nothing else.

Fuck off mate. I was at the game, very close to the Rangers section, and Barry Robson was getting any number of things hurled at him when he went over to take corners in the first half.
Both sets of fans are as bad as each other.

Cheating? Cuellar is a goalkeeper now?
Big Jan should've been sent off, but Muchulloch was a diving bastard, and dodgy tackles were flying in from both sides. So again, both teams are as bad as each other.

As far as the game itself goes, im over the moon. I thought that was it after the penalty. Rangers done their ususal and I thought it would work for them again. Im not a believer in all of this 'anti-football' shit. Rangers play to thier positives, and win games, end of.
Robson was amazing, and I cant understand his substitution. McDonald and Big Jan were useless to be honest, and apart from that cracking goal, Naka was nowhere to be seen.

Novo turned the game around, he incensed the celtic fans and liftet the rangers fans to the point where I thought the game would boil over big time an hour in. Novo is quality. Even as a celtic fan, and as much as I hate him, he knows exactly what he is doing and fair play to him.
He told McGeady that he had him in his back pocket (right before our second goal it must be said), and drew in some pretty nasty tackles, good finish too.

Best old firm game in a long while it must be said.

My highlight of the night was a banner put up by our fans at half time though, pointed towards the rangers section.

    SCOTLANDS SHAME -------------->

    aaaaaaaaaaaahahahhahah

Was it not your ugly, braces wearing, monkey-faced bastard of a centre half, that handled the ball from a goal scoring position? I think it was.

We were the better team, and we thoroughly deserved the win.

Get it RIGHT FUCKIN UP YE'S!!!

Novo cunting around throwing the ball away is what fucked it up there, Celtic would have taken the quick throw and probably got nowhere, but they got to get everyone up there in position.

It would be funny if Rangers totally fucked up and lost everything like Celtic did when they got to Sevilla.

Oh wait no. Rangers have still won the domestic treble.

I thought we deserved the win last night, as we were the better team, especially in the first half. Naka's goal was a stunning strike and thought when McDonald missed the penalty that could be it. We kept going though and the goal at the death was great, made a little bit better by the fact that the two guys behind me and two guys to the left had both left early and missed it!

One win? The win that keeps us in the title race? The win that injured, arguably, your MOST IMPORTANT player McGregor?

That's expected. Davis and Hemdani are both easily better midfielders than Ferguson.

Important win for Celtic on Wednesday, obviously. Gives you lot SOME kind of hope.

Hesselink (IIRC) should have been sent off for that tackle from behind, that was a shocker. Watching the match over, though, I suppose both teams were at it.

You lot have got every right to be happy and excited, but for fuck sake, you've beaten us once in five attempts. You're shite. You'll go in as heavy favourites next week but even if you win there is no chance you'll win the league.

Congrats to Hamilton, we'll see if they last a season or if Motherwell will give them the time of day as regards to groundsharing.

Can't wait for the cup game tomorrow though, if Saints win it's great, if Rangers win QOS will be in Europe which is also great. Win-win situation.

Will they have to ground share? It would seem common sense that they would have sorted out these issues since promotion has been looking a good bet all season.

Good win today but it was a slightly nervous performance, first half there was just no spark or creativity really also seemingly got a bit lucky at the end with Aberdeen's disallowed goal, although saying that I thought Samaras' disallowed goal could have went either way.

Top of the league again and IF we win our next two games then we will be 8 points clear of Rangers and even though they will have their games in hands it does pile the pressure on them.

Depends if they're getting more seating and sorting out that plastic pitch, since noone in the SPL would be happy about that.

They have the stadium capacity to compete in the SPL the only thing they will have to do is resurface the pitch with grass, I think the astroturf is banned after Dunfermline used it.

I thought Hesselinks was a sending off, but under further review, it has professional foul written all over it. He knew it was a lost cause, so he slid and tripped novo accepting the yellow. Maybe it would've been a different story at an away ground.

I love that the only thing rangers have on us right now is that we didn't beat them in four attempts. Wooo-dee-fucking-diddle mate, four old firm games over two seasons where you won fuck all? Well done. All credit in the two you won this season, but they were both at home and ill be very suprised if we don't return the favour.
Although rangers have done well in playing to thier strengths this year, nobody in thier right mind can even attempt to argue that you are a better team than us. We have not perfomed consistently enough and been slack at the back at times, but celtic have played better, more attractive and more positive football than your lot.

The league is in your hands to lose, all we can do is win the rest of our games. You lot have a VERY difficult run in.

Onto todays game against Aberdeen, was at it, average performance, but the result was all that mattered. Samaras was trying to earn his contract, but trying too hard and too much, with hardly any of it coming off. Caddis looked absolutely brilliant, and Mark Wilson is turning into a very good player, and great support for Aiden on the overlap. Big Bobo got man of the match, and it was nice to see him back, I dont think he lost a ball in the air.
Mcdonald had a very quiet game dont think he got a sniff until an hour in.

Bring on the huns next week.

They're donating the plastic pitch to a local school I think so they'll definitely have grass next season.

St Johnstone are doomed. They had two good chances and didnt take them. The Gers will win and then celebrate like its a god given right.

They will not get a better chance than that.

Regardless of the result though, a knackered team and two injuries will do me nicely.
