Some possible news on the games list for the unannounced but inevitable N64 MINI. Nintendo.co.uk recently and for no announced reason uploaded game mauals for 19 N64 games.
It looks a lot like what you'd think Nintendo would put on there. No RARE games (booooo I want Banjo Kazooie and GoldenEye) aside from the Nintendo licensed Donkey Kong property but still a good list if true.

Anyone else being playing Celeste this weekend? It's great fun. IGN gave it 10/10 in their review. I'd definitely recommend picking it up, it's only £16.

put about an hour into it so far. just 100%'d the first world, haven't tackled the b-side yet, but have died something like 213 times. very fun. I'm shit at accurate twitch kinda gameplay, as those deaths can attest to, but it's got a lovely charm to it and through the first world, at least, it doesn't feel like the games difficulty and challenge is derived from just being a dickhead to you. it's so perfect for the switch.
Bloodbourne and Ratchet and Clank are the free games next week, guess which one I won't be downloading because I could only get about an hour in when it came out?

So my brother bought DRAGON BALL fighterZ. Have to say it is my favourite game of its type in a long long time even though I have never watched the show in my life. The combat feels fresh and polished and slightly more fluid then others while the story has a different element with the 'board game' and having to rescue people to team with them, Would recommend.
For some reason Madden 19 for PS4 gives most of the carries to my back up HB no matter who it is the starting Hb, anyone else have this issue?

Anyone else having this issue with Madden 22 franchise where you finish a game as a winner then go back to the main screen and it says you lost and were shut out? Its happened to me in 3 out if 4 games. Im not playing anymore until there is a fix.
Call of Duty Cold War is an unplayable mess when you're trying to just play an offline match with a friend. Terrible. Especially since World War II has such easy playability and a good basic setup.

I mean, that's just speculation based on who's doing it. That doesn't really mean anything as far as how much they're actually changing it.
I'm honestly fine with it being the way virm is saying. Some new story content could be cool, but if they remade it too much, I'd be worried the gameplay would drastically change, and at that rate, I'd rather it just be a new KOTOR.
I hope you're right. I just have a bad feeling about any team that would hire this lady.
Off the top of my head, the only thing I can even think they'd really change would be like the stripper Twi'leks? I don't remember there being anything that could really be construed as offensive. But it's been forever, so who knows.
If you are denouncing any part of the star wars mythos you probably shouldn't be working on the game period.
I bought an Xbox series s. I have gamepass so it already seems worth it. Downloading a bunch of games. I might end up buying some backwards compatible games, mercenaries, rdr and max payne 3 are all catching my eye.

It's excellent so far. Couple of glitches, like when I won the tag titles with Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler the ref said "And new Shayna Baszler" Pretty funny. Haven't been able to try much of the features because of work but I'm hoping Saturday I'll have some free time to try out MyGM and Universe modes.
Just did a 30 man Rumble, picked Lesnar and chose #1. I eliminated 28 guys with ease, but then Dexter Lumis came out at 30 and eliminated me. I could only imagine how happy @mth would have been if this was real life.
PSN+'s new options seem fairly dead on arrival to me.
I guess it really is just merging their PS Now and PS+ into one brand name for ease.
Yeah, I can't say I'm very interested. Maybe if they put work in and optimized games and made them look better like Microsoft did with 360 games but I don't see that happening and I can use RetroArch and play PSP, PS1, and PS2 games on my Xbox Series S at a higher resolution than the default.
I could potentially see myself getting the middle tier if there's some semblance that they'll be releasing games somewhat sooner. I'm not very much on the ball with my game playing as I used to be (Horizon was an exception) so I'm actually not too upset with waiting 3-6 months to play a game (outside of the biggest blockbusters).
Unrelated note. Vampire Survivors is good fun on PC.
So I felt like playing a wrestling game today and ended up buying this. It took a little bit to get used to what buttons do what but I'm having fun with it. I wish I could take my CM Punk CAW through the career mode MyRise thing though. I guess I might try it with Jobber Jones at some point.
Showcase mode is way too specific. It's fun having the Rey vs Eddie match from Halloween Havoc but I'm having a hell of a time trying to hit the backflip ddt while he's stunned against the ropes.
The CAW system as a whole is so tedious and everything involves a chain of menus that take forever to load on ps5 so I can only imagine how it is on last gen systems.
I used The Fiend to win the Rumble. I think I only eliminated 14 or 15 but I did get a trophy for most eliminations and for starting 1st and winning.
It's annoying when CAWs need parts of wrestlers I need to buy. I have a Kenny Omega but there's one with a better attire but I need to buy someone in order to download him.

I've been playing the GTA remasters and III was still a slog but at least the updated graphics made it not so putrid to look at so I was finally able to finish GTA III for the very first time. My first GTA was 4 so I look at this game as being very disappointing. There is nothing here but poor game play, unclear goals and voice acting so bad one wonders why they even bothered.
But now I'm a good ways into Vice City and THIS is the GTA I wanted. I'm having a blast though VC seems to be far more glitchy than III. I've seen utility poles sink right into the ground for no reason, rain indoors, cop cars sink into the ground then fall out of the sky and all other kinds of crazy shit but it rarely has any bearing on the gameplay so it doesn't matter. The soundtrack is amazing, the voice acting and writing is solid enough and there seems to be a cohesive story that I can follow and enjoy. I am having a blast and can't wait to start San Andreas.
San Andreas was always my favorite, but Vice City is a perfect Top 10 game for me both in it's historical context and it still being hella fun and accessible even now.
I've always been an outlier who thought GTA III was alright when it came out, with a really cool concept that just felt empty and missing something. Vice City is what made me a believer.
I mean I get that GTA III is historically one of the most significant games of all time. But I didn't play it back then so I have no nostalgic connection to it and can only compare it to the newer open world games I've already played. It just doesn't work for me though I'm glad I played through to completion at least once just so I can see where open world games of the modern era got their start.
