So I guess people are worried that Seth Rollins may have hurt his knee last night. I watched it again and nothing about it really screams legit injury. He comes off the top rope, misses the knee, and lands perfectly before selling the knee. I think maybe we're witnessing normal, every day selling. I hope I'm right.

It says Dean also cut his mouth, when in fact it was his chin... perhaps the same chin cut he suffered from back in June? It's had a tendency to open up here and there.

With Neville's recent injury and Bray's back issues, I thought I would give this thread a bump so we can consolidate the discussions moving forward.

I worry for Bray. Men of his....carriage, tend to develop chronic back problems when they're older but Bray is still young. If he starts having back issues now he could likely wind up one of those wrestlers constantly sidelined.

Watching that knowing it's an acl is fucking painful. Every acl injury gives me flashbacks and gives me the creeps. It's also such a fluke injury. Harper was doing nothing crazy there and boom 6 months done. Possibly a year before he feels good with it, maybe never completely.

Yeah, I've witnessed 4 ACL tears in my life and it's hard watching that thinking it's an ACL injury. Had a teammates say it's like somebody drilling into your knee continuously.

The actual tear for me wasn't the bad part. I actually think there aren't any nerves in the ligament. It was my knee giving and feeling everything move like it's not supposed to. Then trying to get up and it giving out again. After the injury but before the surgery it got to a point that I could walk on it without pain but I had to be super careful, I was supposed to use crutches all the time but I'd occasionally walk slow across the house or whatever. If I tried to lock my knee and put weight on it it felt like it was going to bend backwards. It's fucking terrible. For me that fear of it blowing never went away. I actually ended up tearing it again and never getting it fixed/playing my sr season of football on it. It's still fucked and I still baby it.

The loose feeling and the feeling that it's going to blow was the worst part for me. I'm getting anxiety just typing about it.

Rehab wasn't extremely painful for me but I did hamstring instead of patella tendon. Patella is stronger but it's a more painful rehab.

I was also 17 and didn't rehab like I needed to.

This blows. Wyatt is one of the more unique characters and in-ring performers in WWE. His character received a massive reboot on Monday and as many have pointed out, it all felt very fresh and exciting. I hope this is minor and he returns soon; possibly the night after Payback.

Sounds to me like Wyatt suffered a calf tear/partial calf tear. I got the same injury in 2013 and it's not fun. depending on the severity of the tear it can take a long ass time to be 100%. From a couple of months to 2 years I believe. If it's a full tear you usually need surgery, mine was roughly 50% torn according to the physio therapist and I was fairly pain free after roughly a year iirc. first couple of weeks were a bitch though, fuck did that hurt.

It's sad that a guy like Wyatt seems to be very very injury prone. I saw the footage, they fucking lock up and boom, down with an injury. Dude can't even walk without getting hurt. It blows because not only is Bray going to be out for awhile, so is Harper. And sure you could maybe start pushing Rowan and Braun as a tag-team with Bray as their manager-if he can even make those appearances, but it's just not the same. In Sweden the injury is somewhat mockingly called "gubbvad" among physical therapists, which basically means old mans calf. Reason is that it is most common among males getting up there in age and not really knowing their own limitations (such as myself). Dudes that sit in the office during weekdays and then go full blast playing tennis, soccer and shit during the weekends.

It is fucking dumb. But I'm still pretty sure that creative are implying that Rock smacked some sense into Bray at mania and made his heart grow three sizes that day.

I mean nothing else happened between then and the face turn so that's really all we've got.

What would have been better? Let's see. How about Bray finds himself standing up for a bottom rung superstar or superstars that he's tired of seeing railroaded. Someone weird that Bray might relate to. Stardust or The Ascension perhaps. Full on turning his stable into a land of misfit toys type thing. So we wind up rooting for this stable of weirdos and underdogs which then turns Bray into the face for the disenfranchised. Yeah that would have been good.

But instead, no. The Rock is just so awesome that some of it rubbed off on Bray and now he's a good guy. That's it.

It's really not. Tons of dude's have gotten injured from basic movements. Happens a lot more than getting injured on big exciting moves.
