How is it the best possible group you mong, we just drew 2 of the best teams in the world. We could've had Leicester for fucksake. Your post reads like a Rangers fan on the wind up, we've made it through to the last 16 with a weaker squad than this.

Can just imagine all the Celtic fans still in the stadium after Barca have beaten us 4-0 waiting for Andy's promised treat to arrive.

Would you rather have a group of CSKA, Bruge and Ludogoretes or something then go out to the first decent team you get in the knockouts? Surely you've been waiting to play the big boys again, not play a bunch of no marks then go out straight away anyway?
And I'm not a fucking rangers fan.

Andy I honestly wonder what planet you're on sometimes. We're not some pub team hoping for man Utd in the cup. We want to qualify.

I'm not saying you're a pub team, but you struggled past a team no one has ever heard of just to get to the groups. Even if you got the easiest draw possible you'd be favourites to finish bottom.

CSKA away in a 5 o clock kick off on a frozen pitch will be a tough game. I don't think it's that easy a group.

So? We made hard work of it every other time we qualified, and that was when Samaras was our best player.

If we'd been drawn in say group B or G, I'd have fancied us to have a good go at runner up. Unfortunately we ended up with arguably the best team in the world (again) and the best second seeded team. It makes all the difference to us.

But fuck it, we can take 9 points no matter who's in our group.

We can realistically get 4 - 6. Lets not forget that City are fucking shite in Europe and Guardiola is going to get found out this season.

Isn't Andy a Scotsman pretending to be English? I can't tell.

Can imagine him on Championship Manager against Barcelona: "Ahhh we gonna get fucked anyway. Never mind boys respect them! It doesn't matter if you win or lose, it's how you play the game!"

Fancy Arsenal to get a result tonight. Considering they seemed intent on becoming a real European force, PSG have done a terrible job in the transfer market this summer - fair enough they had no way of keeping Ibra and David Luiz isn't that great, but the only top player they've signed is Krychowiak - Jese is only young, and Ben Arfa has already been dropped from the squad seemingly without doing anything wrong.

Can't wait for us to play Monaco tonight. We battered them in the Europa last season, but they've got Falcao back and apparently playing well so who knows. Need to get an early win on the board though, and Dembele is available.

Arsenal are missing Walcott up front. If Jack Wilshere did in midfield what Sanchez is doing up front we'd get 5 years of Gary J posting about his poor positional sense.

He just isn't a striker. Sanchez that is, though neither is Walcott.

We have a player who is supposedly a striker who likes to get in behind on the bench.

A few years ago they were beating them as well. Nowadays they're the best of a bad Scottish bunch continually getting knocked out of Europe early on. Our progress in Europe is even worse than before and it's never been that great to begin with other than Celtic.

Best thing about beating Rangers 5-1 on Saturday is that absolutely none of them have said a word about last night and they are fucking dying to. Got an absolute lesson though, Barca are unreal.

That 2nd half was very disappointing last night. Never really looked like getting a 2nd, except right at the end of the first half.

And of course, we forgot how to defend for their 2 goals. And Dier did look out of sorts. But, we do have good midfield options now, which is nice.

Got to get something in Moscow now, which won't be easy.

Sorry mate. Bit disappointing but we should learn from it. Kane's form is the only thing that worries me, a couple of uncharacteristically bad bits of defending aren't too much to get upset about. Poch made a mistake playing Alli deep instead of Wanyama or Dembele, he doesn't have the discipline for that job which exposed Dier badly. That Bernardo Silva looks class.

Do you think being at Wembley made a difference?

For us back in 98-00 it really gave the other teams a lift, we had a shocking record there, think we won 2, drew 1 and lost 3.

Stats-wise yeah but this time last year he still looked like a good player who would be back to scoring again soon. At the moment he looks slower, weaker and worse technically on top of his finishing being worse. Sure he'll come good again soon.

Don't think Wembley had anything to do with it. The fans were great throughout from what I could hear, and we have been training on a purpose-built pitch with Wembley's dimensions.

not expecting much tonight obviously, but I hope we can score at least. Looking forward to a good atmosphere and just the experience. Actually I'm bricking it about another doing.

this is already the game of the CL so far. Parkhead really is such a special place. I'd implore anyone who can to take a game in there.

we can hold our heads high in the CL and in this group on the basis of that first half really. I think the only Celtic player who's underperformed has been Rogic. Dembele was stupid with his slack pass for the City equaliser and Gordon shouldn't have been that far off his line for the Fernandinho goal, but I'd have Griffiths on for Rogic in the second half. I doubt Brendan will change it yet though.

Arsenal have played absolutely brilliantly in the last two games. If we had someone who was a wee bit more clinical we'd have 8 or 9 in this game already. Mustafi looks really good and Iwobi has been a revelation.

Fantastic achievement for them to come up here and get a result. They'll feel a bit hard done by with our first goal but wee teams like Man City coming to Paradise shoud realise that they're rarely going get the decisions.

I fucking loved that game last night. It might be because its been a while since a night like that, but its genuinely the loudest ive ever ever heard Celtic Park. The CL theme, the Huddle and the timing of the goals were all absolutely incredible. Only slight disappointment was how sloppy their goals were with us losing the ball needlessly in the middle of the park but fuck it, it was incredible.

Leverkusen away tonight. No Alderweireld is a big worry. Don't know much about Leverkusen, anyone follow the Bundesliga? They're only in midtable but no idea of how they've been performing. Either way it'll be exciting to see this Brandt kid that everyone is going mad about. Volland, Calhanoglu and Tah as well.

Spurs done me out of 400 quid the fucking stupid bastards. They should have that game wrapped up in the first half. They played like complete and utter spastics in the second.

Yeah second half we were awful. Couldn't string two passes together and we were lucky to nick a point in the end. Dembele played like he was pissed.

Can't remember who I was arguing with the other week but fuck you, Wanyama is absolute class. MOTM every game for the past few weeks.

There's always a worry that someone looking good in SPL or any other smaller league won't be able to do it at a higher level. I'm surprised at how good he is though - thought he was a decent buy, uninspiring but adding a bit of squad depth...but not only is he even better at breaking up play than I realised, he's also much better on the ball than I expected. Fantastic player.

It was in Europe he looked good for us - on several occasions. He wasn't hyped up based on performances against Partick Thistle.
