Day 4 results
The group, buoyed on by their successes the previous night, pressed on into the murk of the lower atmosphere processor. Steam swirls around them as the troopers move deeper inside.
"Hotter'n hell in here" comments Frost.
"Yeah...but it's a dry heat" retorts Hudson.
As they cautiously move forward, a piercing shriek fills the chamber. They turn, and there it is.
A massive silhouette in the mist, the Alien Queen glowers over her eggs like a great, glistening black insect-Buddha. What's bigger and meaner than an Alien?
His momma.
Her fanged head is an unimaginable horror. Her six limbs, the four arms and two powerful legs, are folded grotesquely over her distended abdomen. The egg filled abdomen swells and swells into a great pulsing tubular sac, eggs visible inside
The remaining Marines pump the slides on their grenade launchers. The grenades punch deep into the egg sac and explode, ripping it open from within. Eggs and tons of gelatinous matter pour across the chamber floor. The Queen goes berserk, screeching like some psychotic steam whistle.
Those with flamers lay about themselves, igniting everything in sight with an insane fury. Eggs shrivel in the inferno, and figures of drones vanish in frenzied thrashing. Over all is the Queen's shrieking as she struggles in the flames.
As the flames die down, The Queen is sprawled on the floor, body heaving up and down as though struggling to breathe.
Newt comments "You're mostly dead now, mostly". Hicks takes a grenade from his kit, and throws it straight at the Queen's head.
"Marines, we are leaving!" yells Hicks, turning and getting out of the blast zone. Randolph had no such chance. As he exploded, the hive mind went haywire and the surviving drones were thrown into a state of confusion.
Randolph has been lynched. He was the Alien Queen, mafia godfather.
Night 4 has started. 24 hours, people.

Night 4 results
With the death of the Queen, the backbone of the Alien forces was crushed. The remaining Marines conducted some mopping up duty before preparing to leave Acheron.
Before landing Bug Stomper for the evac, Ferro circled the complex once more, again keeping Peter Griffin in her searchlights.
Back inside, Frost stopped Virms from accessing a restricted area, while in med-bay, Dietrich performed a pre-flight check on Psycho for VoteRipitis.
Newt, not wanting to be left behind, stuck in Bert's shadow.
Endgame
Though they hadn't managed to save all the colonists and lost some of their own men during the incident, the Marines had succeded in surviving a xenomorph encounter.
Back on board the Sulaco, Gorman debriefed the subdued group and held a short memorial for the fallen soldiers, before they set course for Gateway station and re-entered hypersleep.
Back on Acheron, a lone drone stalked the corridors of the complex. No queen, no hive mind, no colonists to kill or impregnate. Turning a corner, he failed to spot the sentry guns soon enough, but by this point, Virms would have welcomed death anyway.
Virms chose death. He was an Alien drone, mafia goon.

-Scum totally shitting the bed on their double kill was the nail in the coffin. Even then, town had a 50% chance of failing their actions, but they succeeded with all of them (which worked out badly for Vasquez). Town could have lost three extra members had choices been different, which may have put a different complexion on the game.
-CWE doing scum's work for them. Twice.
-Looks like I fucked up Apone Motion Dectectoring Jarrod.
-Looks like I fucked up the bus drive. I'm glad Diamond didn't use it day 1. Why I thought bus driven targets got changed, I've no idea. And it inadvertently cleared both Mazer and CWE, helping scum's demise.

Honestly, the only reason I didn't keep up the scum gimmick is because I didn't have a lot of time to play and trying to format my posts to say what I meant but through the lens of being scum was more time/energy consuming than I was ready for.
Yeah, I had a feeling you were hinting at being the hider, but by my spreadsheet, it had to be kangus or Randolph. It didn't help that kangus' posts about targeting him being a waste of time felt like he was claiming a hider that couldn't be targeted

You got copped 3 times in the virm game and still managed to get away with it.
We got more unlucky we could never get a kill.
us hitting the cop night one was great, but me being tracked hurt. i was dead to rights and couldnt really find an angle to get out of it. virm did suggest trying to turn it on peter, but i think it was too late. we missed out on possibly upping our numbers with my early lynch, which would've helped. we really hit some shit RNG as a group.
