If you have Time Warner/Spectrum cable you can watch it on Entertainment On Demand under the Pop TV header.

The show was done as more from a comedy perspective, Matt and Jeff are just letting their creative side run wild. The Lashley vs Edwards fight still going on was fun and Shane Helms recreating his old gimmicks plus the dig at Triple HHH. Spud is great in the comedy roles and getting him and Swoggle together was a nice idea.

I'll be interested to know when TNA do their next tapings, I'd assume the fight network will foot the bills now they are majority owners and I guess the POP TV deal is still ongoing.

Fight network has supposedly gotten them financially savle enough to not have to worry about the cost of takings anymore

Watched total nonstop deletion over the holidays with some friends and some beers. Thoughts

    - Lot of fun
    - Too long by about 10/15 minutes
    - I feel someone is trying to channel DDT with the Drone stuff
    - Having Crazy Steve murder someone was hilarious

I think this should become an annual thing. Have Matt get more and more outlandish as the years go on. I kind of got a bit of a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2001_Maniacs vibe from the whole thing and that was kind of nice. I think having a completely wacky show from the COMPOUND was a lot of fun and I think it allows more outlandish things than can happen on TV most weeks.

    MAKE THIS A RECURRING THING.

They're doing a week of tapings this coming week. Live on Thursday (I'll be at the NXT Tapings so no), but a live PPV Friday, and 2 tapings a day (1pm & 7pm) Saturday and Sunday. Then they skip Monday, and Tape more Tuesday-Thursday. I plan on attending most of it. Would you guys want a general rundown and/or opinions after each taping?

For sure. Would love to get a preview of what's to come. Jeff's supposed to be debuting a new gimmick at these tapings.

That + Hulu picking up CBS programming (aka, Pop TV) is the best potential business news for TNA in years.

Also, they (you know who I mean, "they") are saying that Brother Nero is done for now. If you go by the end of the last show and Broken Matt's tweets, then Jeff has been returned to normal.

TNA look as if they will now be on a more sound financial footing as Anthem are a decent size company and will look to build TNA to create content on their network. It will be interesting to see if TNA resume as a touring brand or remain purely a television based promotion. Also Drew Galloway and the Hardy's contracts are both up soon so it will be interesting to see what sort of terms they might be offered.

$14.99 for this. Practically no card and will probably be on Youtube by the end of the night. Why not build up some storylines and then maybe do a PPV in the Summer?

Jarrett being back as part of creative will be good for the company. If they can get the storylines and booking right then the brand should have a solid future.

Anthem is the new owners, the name being in the logo is weird and confusing but they still called it "TNA" and "Impact Wrestling".

The live PPV Friday night bored me to tears, which was a shame, because I was pretty hyped for it. Almost didn't go today, but man I'm glad I did.

The 1pm taping was the "Joker's Wild" One Night Only PPV taping. Lots of fun. The wrestlers were having fun you could tell. Some fun teams.

Guys, the new Sandow/Spud gimmick is INCREDIBLY entertaining in person.

The 7pm taping was Some of this Thursday's episode and some of the Thursday after that. Some good stuff... Spoilers ahead

Sandow had all sorts of gimmicks thrust upon him, and he could make anything work. Average in the ring at best though.

Also, Sandow has the worst body of any modern wrestler in a major promotion today. He's doughy, has floppy man (Macho Mandow?) tits, and no tan. He looks like somebody's 40-something year old high school English teacher decided to become a wrestler. Absolutely awful body type.

Him coming close to beating Cena was probably his best ever match. Nothing really stands out to me much otherwise in his body of work. Good but not compelling.

There's something about Hero's physique that makes him more credible in his style. That's something that's come from people who've worked him too. It makes his strikes more credible, it fascinates people that he doesn't blow up, he is incredibly agile for a guy that size and it makes for compelling storytelling in his matches.

Some good stuff coming up in the coming weeks, you guys should stay tuned. Feast or Fired, Ladder Match for X Division Belt, 30 Minute Ironman Match for the World Title, and an awesome Monsters Ball for the Women's Title all got taped today and were lots of fun.
vs. Moose 1 n 2 are both fun and the spoiler cuts a great promo before the second one.

So what is Sandow's gimmick? The spoilers for the tapings say it's a Liberace gimmick, then someone tweeted the picture and said it was a "Kingpin" gimmick. All I hope is that he doesn't become a parody of his WWE parody gimmick lol. Because usually that's what tends to happen with certain wrestlers from the WWE that go to TNA. They become a parody of the gimmick they were using prior. So being a parody of a parody is odd.

It's apparently a gimmick he's wanted to do for years, he pitched it while he was in WWE but they didn't go with it.

    So what's the gimmick?

And why on Earth does that little guy call himself "Rockstar Spud" Anytime I think of Spud I think of this creepy thing from Bob The Builder (this is what happens when you have 4 kids, shit starts reminding you of little kids shows and toys lol).

Sandow wears a white fur jacket. Wears light pink lipstick that you can only really see up close. Says "S"s with a lisp. Refuses to partake in violence. Literally makes Spud do everything for him. Jaws with the crowd the whole time. SUPER entertaining in person. Like SUPER SUPER entertaining in person. BUT I'm unsure how it will come across on TV. He spits out a lot of one liners to the crowd during the matches that I'm unsure will even make it through TV audio.

So, Sandow's doing a maybe/maybe not gay gimmick now? And that's an improvement? I'll have to see this when it airs to really gauge it, but I'm not a fan already.

Yeah I'd wait to see it before you say you're not a fan because the only reason you basically aren't a fan is that it may or may not be "gay"....

I'm curious if they explain the transformation or if they just act like Aron Rex, normal average released WWE talent gimmick, never existed.

I don't have any problem with gay people, dude. I'm just not the biggest fan of gay gimmicks in wrestling. The Gorgeous George thing can only work for so long on so many people. Just not sure if Sandow can pull it off.

I don't know if his gimmick has anything to do with being gay though does it? Prince wasn't gay. So he came out wearing a little make up, had a white fur coat, and Spud had a baby blue whatever the fuck on....that doesn't scream GAY to me at all. And I'm not saying you have a problem with gay people but you did say you're already not a fan because it might have some homosexual undertones.

You're not sure if Sandow can pull it off? The same motherfucker that was able to make being Miz's stunt double one of the top acts in the WWE? You need to give it more of a shot than just reading one report's take on it. I mean shit the main page referenced someone's tweet saying he debuted a new KINGPIN gimmick lol.

Sorry. Maybe I shouldn't have called it a "gay" gimmick. But I read it described as a Liberace type thing and "gay" (because Liberace is gay, obviously) just came to mind. I didn't mean it in a derogatory way.

Yeah, I should probably just wait and see how it comes across on TV. Reading a reporter's thoughts on it is one thing, but actually seeing it in action is what's going to sell it.

It does seem like a Hell of a character change out of nowhere for him, though. Wasn't he a heel cocky prick Aron Rex before Anthem took over and now he's rocking a fur coat with a manservant/driver? Definitely a drastic change.

I'll be honest when I read it being described as "Liberace" I was like, people still use him as a reference for this kind of shit? Lol. That's like someone my 75 year old grandma would reference. It's like movies still using the same 4 songs from the 70's and 80's like, is there nothing else for you to use??

I'm with you, I need to see it play out on t.v. or wherever I'd watch it since I don't have Pop. I'm pretty confident it'll be entertaining but it doesn't appear they really dabbled into WHY these 2 came out with this gimmick. They were both just straight up wrestlers a few weeks ago lol.

I've never really been exposed to the actual Liberace but the Liberace in "Behind the Candelabra" as portrayed by Michael Douglas had traits that could make for a pretty great wrestling character tbh. He's kind of terrifying. Proper heel. Spud has history playing that manservant type character too.

Liberace starred in a pretty fantastic movie in the 1950's called "Sincerely Yours". He plays the role of famous concert pianist ('natch), but suddenly becomes deaf. No longer able to perform, he becomes a recluse and refuses to leave his penthouse apartment. He then learns to lip read and begins watching people from a telescope, learns about their problems, and uses his money to help them. It's a pretty good '50s melodrama and I believe Liberace's only starring role.

Oh, and here's a picture I found that must have been the inspiration for the new gimmick. Dead on.

He explained it away with a simple "When I came here I said I was going to do things my way. This is MY way. The non-violent way."

Of course. TNA has never been short on good to great workers. They've been short on good ideas/booking, but never on talent. That's why I think so many people have been mystified that they couldn't break through to the next level just based on who they had on their roster, even the lesser known talent. Right now they have some really really good female talent as well.

I'm basically saying I think everyone is good to great on the roster. Even that little guy Rockstar Spud is pretty damn entertaining. I mean if you mean just straight up good wrestlers....Eddie Edwards, Davey Richards, Drew Galloway, Trevor Lee, Lashley, Mike Bennett, EC3, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Rosemary, Jade, Gail Kim, like I said I'm looking at the roster and I don't see anyone that I think totally sucks or is the drizzling shits.

Well of course I do. That was my specific question.

.Eddie Edwards, Davey Richards, Drew Galloway, Trevor Lee, Lashley, Mike Bennett, EC3, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Rosemary, Jade, Gail Kim, like I said I'm looking at the roster and I don't see anyone that I think totally sucks or is the drizzling shits.
Yeah I didn't think a lot. Once you get to Lashley you're scraping the barrel. The first three are pretty decent. Never heard of Trevor Lee.

Once Styles left all of the top guys seemed to leave thereafter, hasn't really interested me since. I watched EC3's matches and they were incredibly rudimentary.

Does Josh Barnett really even have any name value? Are they bringing him in to feud with Lashley because they both are MMA fighters? I know Barnett is a former UFC Heavyweight Champ, it just strikes me as odd is all as I just barely remember him.

Currently on the roster: Lashley, Eddie Edwards, Davey Richards (Has a bona fide 5 Star match from Meltzer), Galloway (Contract is up and they assume he'll resign), and don't forget Trevor Lee.

I wouldn't exactly call him a name, but TNA's commentary sucks, so he's a good get based on his work calling New Japan.

I truly believe that's what a lot of fans think in the West. Or their idea of a good worker is simply 100 high impact moves with no story, no selling, just people doing shit throughout. But in all reality I do believe a lot of fans think if you're not currently in the WWE you must not be very good.

Looking at the roster I don't see any one (male) wrestler who is complete. They all either excel as characters or in-ring performers but nobody there particularly stands out like the old group of Roode, Aries, Joe, AJ, etc.
Watching last night, I realized what makes Mike Bennett watchable is his character (and Maria) more than what he does in-ring. I must have missed a bit where Rosemary is now the KO division champion. Also, anyone who watched last night, when did Tyrus come back? And who was/is he supposed to be with, what's his role? I came back in and it looked like he was holding someone back, didn't understand what had happened.

Drew's good in the ring and on the mic. He should have been the top Face in the company, but they seemed to pull the plug on him like they do with everyone. I also forgot to mention Mia Yim (aka Jade) earlier. Good worker, but she has no character to speak of and can't really cut a promo.

I missed last night's IMPACT. I couldn't remember if they were airing new episodes or not. Rosemary's been the KO Champ for over a month. Mike Bennett doesn't do anything for me in TNA and Maria's character has become nauseating. I get that you're supposed to hate the heels, but not to the point that you don't want them on TV at all. I liked them both better as part of the Kingdom in ROH.

Eli Drake brought Tyrus in as his Tag Team Partner to take on the Hardy's at One Night Only.

I blanked about Drew being there for some reason. I like Eli Drake, I think he's good. Hardys are the Hardys, they'll be watchable in almost anything they're doing.
OK so that makes sense about Eli and Tyrus, that had to be who was with him in the segment I referenced.

What I saw of last night seemed pretty good. It was about half the show; Rex & Spud was a good segment. I like the pairing and think it will work with the characters they have.
Lashley doesn't have the same effect being the heel without the belt

They should let Sandie do the man of 1,001 gimmicks. New guy every show and the ones that get over pop back up every few months. The man made everything work.

The state of wrestling has just gotten to be so..............................bad. I don't understand the point of a roster if you are going to keep giving the belt back to the same tired out people. Honestly, you are a 3 time, 4 time champ in the span of a year or 2. How pathetic is that, and half the time its some clown who does like 2 moves. Spear, Suplex.................Sorry, Bobby, Roman, but the majority of guys like you just bore the hell out of everyone. Not bad enough that they can't write a single storyline that serves a purpose anymore, and is rehashed repetative cr@p. But, now we do the same with the matches. Now, you don't just get the same match for a year straight, but the champ just loses it to the same guy every few weeks, and we never see anything new. Sorry, but TNA, or whatever it is now, is still Dixie ran, Dixie Brand garbage. She is like a tick that just don't let go, even when Billy was taking them in a better direction. Now, they virtually have the same garbage that is WWE. All I can say is thank God for ROH. Well, at least until the top talent is scooped up to rot away in WWE mediocrity

So instead of "Feat or Fired", the match has been retooled and is now called "Race for the Case".

It is absolutely MIND BOGGLING that in 2009 not only did TNA have a Women's Championship (I know...Knockouts) but they also had a Women's Tag Team Championship.

Probably the most useless belts since the WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Championship.

(side note: Love the ROH 3 Man Tag Team Championships)

For a brief period, the Women's Tag division was pretty good. The Knockouts were one of the best things going in TNA so I can understand why they would want to give them more TV time. There might have been plans to add more women to the roster which would have added more depth. Unfortunately, this happened right around the time everything really went to hell. It was already bad, but the arrival of Hogan and Bischoff was not far off.

I liked the KO's when there was Awesome Kong, Gail Kim, Roxxi Leveaux, TBP and some others.

Is it Rex or Rexx? Referring to the sign Spud had last night. The gimmick is ridiculous but it works, because of him.

The only negative about the women's tag titles is that it wasn't a real division. The only real "tag-team" were the Beautiful People but even then I wouldn't have called them a straight up tag-team, especially when they expanded. It was basically 2-3 women fighting over the KO belt and then the other 4 on the roster were going after the tag belts. But with that said, TNA, IMO, has always had a tremendous women's division. I haven't seen hardly anything of TNA in 2 years but I follow a lot of what the KO's are doing and I really like the talent they have right now. The WWE has some really good talent but if these 2 divisions combined, including NXT, it would be the best female roster this side of the hemisphere.

Looks like NOAH has announced a partnership with Impact Wrestling. Very interesting. Not really sure who is left in NOAH, but hopefully Impact treats them better than they ever treated foreign partners as TNA.

Yeah it's crazy to realize that TNA had working relationships with NJPW, CMLL, and AAA and fucked them all up.

It's because they made stupid decisions for the most part. Ring of Honor, their relationship didn't really sour as much as it was that TNA were growing and they didn't want other smaller promotions getting a rub. So they would still let talent wrestle for ROH, they just couldn't be on TV, ppv, or DVD's they sold and then they started signing people to exclusives so I mean that shit happens. Everyone else, it was pretty much Dixie and her team acting like fucking morons. Plain and simple.

Meltzer said yesterday that nothing really changed at the last set of TV Tapings because Anthem went with the plans that were already in place. The next set of Tapings should incorporate ideas from Jarrett and Mantel so things could start to get interesting. Man, I hope they get rid of the 6 sided ring.

I love Broken Matt but Icon Matt was great in ROH and I'd love to see this character in Impact. I think he was somewhat doing the gimmick when he turned heel after vacating the belt but it was cool in ROH. Really the first time in awhile people were excited to watch Hardy.

Yeah, Big Money Matt was great and a lot of people questioned why he switched to Broken Matt when the 1st gimmick was going so well... guess that PREMO-NEE-TION worked well.

Just watched Impact, The Hardy's Gold Expedition is a thing of beauty so fun to watch - not sure about bringing in Barnett I think that's a bit of a backward step very WCWesque.

Overall much prefer watching TNA to WWE at the moment just because you never quite know whats going on and I like that.

I watched last night's show on and off, saw the opening as well as the Hardy's stuff, the ending, the segment with Tyrus and Eli. I read something about Cody showing up on spoilers, was that last night?
Pretty good show of what I saw, I've been a little out of it keeping up with them this year for the most part. What are some of the current feuds and storylines going?

Anybody else watch last night? Admittedly been out of watching them lately but came back for this week's show. There still seems like a lot of chaos on-screen, and is the tag division really just decay and the hardys? That would make sense why they have them defending the titles all over.

I haven't been watching it much this year. As much as I love the Broken Hardys, I need a break from their gimmick and nothing else is really holding my attention. Matt and Jeff have been carrying this company since last Summer. This show really need a hook. Also, Aron Rex's gay heel gimmick just seems tasteless. I've only seen a few clips, but that's all it really seems to be. He's flamboyantly gay and a heel. I want Dalton Castle to show up and kick his ass.

Drew Galloway has been released by TNA. He's also the current reigning IMPACT Grand Champion (on TV) so there's that...

    Wording!

He wasn't released, he left. His contract was up so he chose not to re-sign with TNA. I would like to see him get another chance in the WWE. I found him to be a solid heel at the beginning, not sure why he was in 3MB, not sure why Jinder was either but oh well. I feel if Jinder and Hawkins can get back to the WWE, Drew for sure could make it back and be a key player if built back up properly. I definitely would not want to see some triangle feud where he starts attacking Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal out of jealousy lol.

And that Grand Champion.....what a stupid gimmick.

Pro Wrestling Sheet and PWInsider are saying the Hardys and TNA are pretty much done working together. In addition, the Hardys have agreed to participate in the tapings going on this week with the intention of writing them off programming.
