Hindsight that makes sense, I do now feel that the Virm self vote makes him town, it's a similar thing I did early in these when I was frustrated town

They continued staring in shock as they saw the battered piece of bread on the ground, chunks of grain missing as the one who had done the deed is on his knees, laughing at the carnage he had just created.
“Dude, you killed him! We were just trying to steal something!”

The murderer looked up at them with a crazed grin. “Guys, you don’t understand…that feeling…that feeling was incredible!” He laughs again as he begins picking up the pieces of grain and tossing them into their, making a tiny bread shower. “The rush! The nerves! The blood pumping like wild through my core! And then to finally bring that old fool to his demise…oh my god!”
The other three wafers are still a bit shocked, but one of them takes a tentative step forward, shocked look planted on his face. He brings his foot up, and crashes it down right on top of Rip’s head, caving it in with another puff of grain. A chill runs through his body and he lets another slow stomp loose. And then another. And another. And before long, he can stop himself from stomping on the body like a madman, laughing much in a similar way to Wafer 1.
“Oh my god, he’s right! Even just beating up his dead body is…exhilarating? Yes, that word is perfect! This is exhilarating!!”
Wafer Two keeps going ham as the other two look a bit hesitant. All they needed was a little push in the right direction. So when a saltine walks into the store expecting to be greeted by the friendly Rip, he howls in horror at the macabre greeting he received. Wafer 3 and Wafer 4 quickly turn to look behind them, as the saltine slowly backs up in terror.
“I….I..I need to call the authorities. You boys just stay right here, ok?”
It was do or die now. And for the Wafer 3 and Wafer 4, it was do, as they both jumped onto CWE and pounded him into crumbs.

Always knew my time zones would bite me in the arse. Truth be told though, I'm sleeping about 3 hours a night and I'm on here hitting refresh. And you know if I was scum, I'd be the Alpha and put all the little scum in line and win this thing.
Apart from a vote for JP and pre game start, this is all CWE contributed.
Killing him after he pointed Honey Badger being absent or claiming he's watching Mazer would be the kind of thing that novice scum might do... However CWE is one of the best at Mafia here, so it seems like a smarter move to kill him and potentially have it appear to be done to frame the people he called out. Or Mazer and HB are masterminds, knowing how good CWE is and know the value of a double bluff like this, playing us for fools.

The vote on himself was a ploy to make people think he was throwing a tantrum in the hope that he might stay the highest vote and at last minute, switch his 3 votes to 2 and bump someone else up to 3, maybe getting a double tap with Rip. Unfortunately Rip dug himself into a hole of double dumb downs and people went with it.
For my money, one person on Rip when it went to 3 votes is scum, one person in Cewsh is scum and virm is scum.

Poor CWE can't catch a break! Looks like Jarrod's bad day one luck has transferred to him for different reasons.
Interesting theory, but on the UK side of things that would also have to include and wardy as well plus you were on the Rip train too (not accusing you now, just saying). I stayed away from the Rip and virm trains because I wasn't convinced of either them. I gave Cewsh the benefit of the doubt that he was just having a bad start but he is worth another look at least after what's happened as is virm for the reasons Grim just listed.
One thing I did find odd was Mikey casting a late vote for BBF when there was no chance he was going when it was Rip and virm that were under consideration. That could be scum panto or it could also be chalked down to novice play as well on his part.
Hopefully we get this one right, going to delay my vote for a while as the day phase has just started.

Someone stated that not voting in Day 1 is suspicious, so I wanted to put some vote in. However, despite the strangeness of Rip and virm's actions, I didn't feel confident enough that either were scum to vote for them. Hence, I wanted to put a vote in somewhere to register my suspicions.
How would you even drop hints in a vanilla game? I am not sure that's really possible in this set up unless you try to make yourself look like a jester where it isn't possible.

I still think my thought process behind Rip was correct but I understand it puts me as a suspect.
I definitely think it was a better lynch then people who were still considering voting for virm.

Let me be clear. There’s no gimmick in this game, and no masterwork plan. I just jumped into this game without really looking at the rules when Psycho asked for players to fill it out and did a bunch of dumb shit day one trying to catch up and get 5 posts up on my phone so I didn’t get bounced from the game.

My reasoning here is that there were two day one bandwagons. Rip and Virm. We know Rip was town, but can’t be sure if his bandwagoners were scum because we don’t have enough info and he made himself suspicious. Not much more to say. We're playing vanilla which makes things really tricky when some are skating through. Others are being a bit more active and saying a bit more but that raises suspicions. To be honest, I'm not sure on anyone but Cewsh usually plays smarter hence my vote.
We are going to lose people to inactivity at this rate. Please people at least contribute something. Even if you think it's something obvious. Being modkilled will likely just benefit the scum.

Well the game right before this that HFR run, he wasn't lying as such but not everything was revealed right away (e.g. alignment not being revealed right away upon death and the Frank character having a one-off power to revoke a lynch). Then before that there was JP's Mortal Komvat game which was a bloodbath and full of swerves but again it was a case of not everything being revealed right away rather than lying. Rip's Venari game looked like it was going to have surprises too before it was dropped.
It's risky trying to read the game runner but out of the few games I've played in Psycho's have been the most straightforward and easiest to follow. What you see is what you get generally so I doubt there'll be surprises but you never can tell I guess.
