AJ Styles vs. Brock Lesnar could be the ultimate big man little man match...
That Styles/Jinder match reminded me a lot of the Bradshaw/Guerrero matches from Smackdown in 2004. You have a big, jacked up heel wrestling a better and more technically sound, but smaller babyface. You've got Styles creating a lot of movement and excitement around a big, lumbering dud. And you've got Jinder keeping it basic with his cut-offs and offense. The way they booked it tonight was basically perfect. Styles could be the next Eddie Guerrero and be the likable and classically talented main event babyface we all want. Brock "Absentee" Lesnar can keep being the "Special Attraction" champion on RAW who only shows up four times a year. Styles can get over as a great fighting champion who's willing to defend his belt against anyone, anywhere and give Smackdown its identity back as the "wrestling" show again.
Check it out; You seriously have, Styles/Jinder in some rematches, Styles/Rusev, Styles/Heel Orton, Styles/Heel Bobby Roode, Styles/Owens, Styles/Sami Zayn, Styles/Ziggler, and the big one, obviously, in Styles/Nakamura.
You can't go wrong with Styles as World Champion.
Just keep James Ellsworth the Hell away from him.
I'm so happy AJ Styles is champion. Though i would of loved to see Jinder get taken to Suplex City.
I am worried this is short term though. WWE's tour of India is coming up. Something tells me Jinder will win it back there.
As for the SD team. Am i the only one noticing the silhouette looks a lot like Zack Ryder's. Way to spoil it. I'm guessing next week he'll probably win a battle royal.
Also i noticed the same thing with the RAW. The last silhouette looks like Mickie's.
I actually thought Sasha would miss out then at SS we see Asuka knocked out backstage. Alicia asks Sasha to take her place. Next night on Asuka attacks Sasha. It turns out Sasha was the one who attacked Asuka.
I heard Jinder has a shoulder injury. I wonder if they'll keep him off SS or find something for him to do.
Finally Smackdown will be awesome again. Jinder as champ really and I mean really dragged the show down for me. But with AJ as champ again so much is possible. So many good matches and segments. Where with Jinder it was just fast forward and had a dull feeling.

I know it's likely Brock's gonna suplex him to death at Survivor Series, but bloody glad they got the title off Jinder at last no matter the circumstances. I hope they don't give it back to him for India's sake.

Certainly feels like they used Jinder/AJ as a template for what Lesnar/AJ can be to some extent. They seemed to really prop up the fact that Jinder outsized AJ. They countered that with AJ just being a ball of fury at some points and showing some relentlessness. I loved how AJ went after the Singh Brothers, too. Kind of felt like Jinder ran through his playbook: got help, hit the finisher, but couldn't get the win. At that point, he didn't have anything left and AJ had just enough to get by.
It's been announced it's John Cena.
First he takes Ryder's girl, now he takes his silhouette.
Great match, great to see AJ back on top.
Lets enjoy the ride though. With the WWE heading to India next month, I have a feeling Jinder will be getting a rematch right after .Survivor Series.
Finally the right guy is champ. I'm thinking part of it was just a temporary thing for the Manchester audience, give them a big title change. Go back to the US, Jinder regains title and we go right back to the same shit. I'd be happy being wrong.
I've said it once and I'll say it again.. AJ has that rare ability to make anyone he is in the ring with look better.

But bloody hell, the crowd sweetening they still do on pre-taped stuff is horrible. It doesn't even sound like a real crowd. So, so poor.
That was one of the worst things about Smackdown when it was on Thursday. The editing they did to that show was beyond ridiculous. The crowd pops always sounded the same. WWE knew it and they didn't give a shit.
Has anyone talked about gable fucking up their tag title match?
Benjamin/Gable not getting over with the crowd, no reaction every time they come out.
Did Chad legit injure one of them?
I dont think legit but for a tag title match making it so your opponent cant return to the ring makes it a dumb move.
