Honestly, no there doesn't. This will always be part of every effort intensive forum game. We don't have the level of activity to have a bunch of backups, or to turn away people who I think might not go the distance and people's attention spans wont allow for week long debate times. So here we are.

Yeeeeah, I travel for wrestling AND I have a 40+ hour a week job, I don't just disappear or back out of shit... and honestly, I debated on whether or not even bringing this up, but this was one of the reasons I thought about not even being part of the debates this year ... a lot of people in here take this shit way too seriously and talk a lot of fucking shit about people for no goddamn reason, it's really pathetic... it's also why I stick to the Women's Wrestling thread a majority of the time, it's relatively drama free; the debates were always supposed to be about fun but now I'll be happy if lol wins because a majority of everyone's attitudes in here fucking suck. lol's rebuttal didn't keep me from responding, the fact that I have repeatedly and continuously brought up that I keep getting Internal Server Errors when I try to post - either on my phone or on my home computer and my work computer - is the reason why I couldn't post my third entry. If I move on to the second round, cool; if not, just as cool.
P.S.: Shit the bed? Go the distance? What the fuck... seriously, lol and I both posted twice... and to be honest I think we both covered our subjects pretty damn well in only two entries apiece without it getting repetitive and boring. Best of luck to you lol.

I went looking for a gif of the coin flip that they actually did on tv, where Jack Tunney super obviously pockets the real coin for a gimmicked one, but this works great too.
Also, I didn't cover this in the rules, but it should go without saying that you are not allowed to vote on your own ties in the tournament. However this year, I will allow active people in the tournament to vote on other people's debates. If it appears those votes are for shitty reasons, or are due to undue bias, I will delete them.

There was an issue last year where someone on the board kept trolling every debate, I think it's someone in this tourny this year. Also, nobody who voted on the main page voted based on the skill of the debate, but by the choice, which we're told it's not about the choice but how well the person debated the choice. Which is why you'll get something like "I voted Man Diva because I like Sable more than Linda" and that was the vote....
If you don't vote for Sable, Brock will come to your house and eat your children.
Obviously I can't police how the polls are voted on, and I wouldn't if I could. Half the point of these debates is to create something to cause the tens of thousands of people to view the main page to see what our forum has to offer. So keeping it loose and fun is the whole idea.

Yep because there were quite a few people who had the fan vote be a tie breaker so to speak and most of the "fan vote" ie main page is just people going by choice as opposed to substance. Imagine someone makes a great argument to bring Eli Drake into the WWE but the other person has a dog shit argument about CM Punk. Who do you think they're going to vote for?
