I plan on running a few easy fantasy games for baseball this year. This is the first, but 2 more will be added this week.
Each year when teams report there are a few we just know have no chance at the playoffs. In this game you seak to find the best of the lousiest and the lousiest of the best.
Rules are simple:
Pick 5 MLB teams who will not make the playoffs.
The player who picks the teams with the highest win total with out having a team make the playoffs wins.
So for instance using last years season 3 players pick the following teams:
Player A
Twins 59
White Sox 78
A's 69
Braves 68
Brewers 73
Total Score = 347
Player B
Marlins 79
Braves 68
Blue Jays 89 * made playoffs
Royals 81
Astros 84
Total = 0 A team made playoffs, cannot win.
Player C
Royals 81
Twins 59
Brewers 73
Pirates 78
White Sox 78
Total = 369
C would be the winner, most wins with out a team making the playoffs.
