Considering giving the nod to Lesnar/Goldberg, I just don't know where I'd rank it because it was a different beast, but a highly enjoyable one regardless. Nothing was bad, but these are the ones that were worthy of the YES for me.
Yes to the Street Fight from SD! Live last night between Corbin and Ambrose. It's been said, but this should have been their Mania match.
I think I will yes the tag title and Roode/Nakamura matches from Takeover and Aries/Neville, AJ/Shane, Ladder match, Rollins/HHH and Lesnar/Goldberg. I enjoyed all the matches from the weekend to some degree (well the WM mixed tag was 'passable at best), But the mentioned matches are the ones I really liked.

Throwing a yes for Styles/Zayn/Corbin from Smackdown. Good match, but the last five minutes were really great. Styles is so good, Corbin has really found a niche, and Zayn already showing that he belongs on this show. Great work by them all.

I'm gonna no Zayn/Styles/Corbin. It was a great finishing sequence but the match overall wasn't high enough.
Sidenote: The crowd are close to going Daniel Bryan on AJ Styles. I think if Zayn had won they were going to shit all over it.

YES to Drew/Oney. Loved this. Another great 5 minute match. Drew looked like a killer, Oney again does more with his few minutes than most do with three times that and is gradually making a name for himself despite consistently losing fairly short matches. Loved Oney's slap flurry at the end.

Just watched Drew/Lorcan, fairly short but stiff and very high intensity, I liked it. YES.
They kind of goofed that spot where Drew busted Oney up with the elbow strike.

Belated YES to the Usos vs. American Alpha on the Skake Up episode of Smackdown. Missed it the first time and just watched it last night. Short, but really hot match.
I'm going to nominate Itami/Strong from this week's NXT. The things I didn't like about it were out of their control: the crowd and the commercials.
Wanna nominate Kassius Ohno vs Almas from last nights NXT, very hard hitting. I dont think Almas has had a bad match since he's been there, call him up to Smackdown someone.
it's either people stopped caring about posting in this thread or we have had a lack of good matches this year.

I think it's a little of both. Also, allot of people aren't watching RAW and Smackdown. They're keeping up by watching clips.
It's not been a good year match wise and definitely not storyline wise. I've watched erything that's had any sort of hype and my list only has about 10 on it. Just need to catch up with the last couple of weeks of NXT. Expect this week to produce a few though.
YES to Itami/Strong, but it has been slim pickings lately. Owens/Styles and Nakamura/Ziggler should deliver though. Roode/Itami too.

I think the year started fairly strong, but after WrestleMania it cooled down a bit. For me, the TV matches have mostly been great, but nothing that has quite hit that mark yet. This weekend should have a couple to nominate, though.

Bate/Andrews was great. Andrews seems like the UK version of Evan "Air" Bourne. Peace sign, tights, Shooting Star Press. British Air Boom could be good. Just need a better name.

Definite YES to the UK and tag title matches, enjoyed all of the matches though. I think Roode/Drew could/would be a very interesting NXT tile match/feud. Itami is looking better since returning than he has since coming to NXT but the KENTA of old just isn't there anymore though (age, injuries etc.). The matches that got me (back) into puro was actually Kobashi/Sasaki and KENTA/Marufuji. Was a big fan of KENTA in like 2004-2005.
Bate is just a little beast, it's like watching Bob Backlund bust out corkscrew moonsaults and shit. I like how Dunne is channeling Fit finlay.
Done a lot of catching up today.
Bate/Dunne - absolutely yes. Fantastic showcase, the only thing I didn't like was Dunne kicking out well after three a couple of times. Bate is an absolute beast, some of the stuff he's capable of is mind blowing. I love Dunne's aggression and facial expressions. Fantastic chemistry between them too.
AOP/DIY - Found this quite difficult to rate. The belts seemed so low that it made so much of it just that bit harder to suspend disbelief. Some great spots though and the AOP continue to look like beasts. Their entrance gear is so badass. That ladder to the chin of Gargano was gross. I'll give it a yes but as I say, hard to place against others.
Itami/Roode - No. It was decent but nothing special.
Itami/Strong May 10 NXT - No. Again, good main event but nothing great. Also, the NXT crowds were cunts for this.
Almas/Ohno May 17 NXT - No. Didn't find it very interesting at all.
Dunne/Seven - No. Decent enough but not great. Dunne kicking out after three again, he needs to cut that out.
Bate/Matthews - Yes. Good match showcasing both guy's offence really well. The airplane spin into the reverse hurricanrana was batshit. Bate is so so impressive.

NO to Nakamura/Ziggler. Maybe I got my hopes up too high but I thought they'd try to recreate Nakamura's match with Zayn, just an ultimate showcase. Instead it was Ziggler getting loads of offence and near falls in which was a weird dynamic since none of the crowd thought Ziggler had any chance of winning.
YES to Owens/AJ. Really good match with a ton of fun spots and I didn't mind the finish. Definitely feel like they have another gear though, expect the rematch to be killer.

I was quite disappointed with Nak/Ziggler. Very, actually. A good match, I just expected a lot more from it. They were in a difficult spot though, as everyone thought it was going to be the tits. Nakamura was just on the receiving end a little too much for me.

YES to Ambrose/Miz and the five way from last night. Miz and Ambrose have great chemistry andnthey had time to tell a good story. Five way was just really good fun and made everyone look good.
Just a yes for the Fatal 5-way for me. No for Ambrose/Miz. It was fine, but the stipulation killed it a bit for me.
Can't really comment on Miz/Ambrose fairly as I wasn't really paying it proper attention but NO to the 5-way. It was very good but pretty forgettable in the overall scheme of things.

The stipulation made the match. It was paced well and built a great story around the stip with well defined face/heel dynamic. The antics at the end were great. Honestly, it's one of my favourite matches of the year and encompassed most of why I watch wrestling.

Yes to the 5-way, no to everything else from Extreme Rules. Some good stuff sure, but nothing good or memorable enough to need to re-visit come the end of the year.
Throwing an absolute yes for the Last Woman Standing between Nikki Cross and Asuka. Really great work by both. Took some crazy bumps and worked their asses off. Really great stuff!

NOMMing and YESSing Roode vs Strong. I thought it told an excellent story and put both men over. The ever slightest misstep by Strong cost him the match.
Slow first half of the year for matches.
Cena/Styles and Dunne/Bate would be my #1 and #2/#3.
Really hoping Summerslam picks things up.
Interesting you say that. I thought it has been a good year but this thread itself has been slow.
The NXT takeover ladder match, the triple threat match between DIY/AOP/Revival are both in my top 5 this year. You also had the triple threat match between Rollins/Balor/Miz. You can throw in both Reigns/Strowman matches, Strowman/Show where the ring exploded and the fatal 5 way extreme rules match. The Alpha/Usos series of tag title matches were also really really good.
Nikki/Asuka too. Favourite women's match of the year so far for me.
Hardys/Shesaro series has been really good too.
Yes I wanted to mention the last woman standing match but forgot.
Yes to Hardyz vs Sheamus/Cesaro in the iron man match and yes to Brock/Joe.
Haven't caught the LWS yet, But I will yes Joe/Lesnar, Sheamus and Cesaro/Hardys and Strong/Roode.
Man, I'm super torn on the Iron Man tag match. The first 20 minutes were pretty formulaic and the last 7-10 were really solid.
The beginning of the match was far from formulaic though.
That was the best part of the first 20 minutes. You have to find a way to get the audience engaged right off the jump since everyone knows you're there for 30 minutes. That was a great way of doing that. I felt like Sheamus and Cesaro were solid with swerving with who was legal and stuff at various points.
It just felt sluggish, to an extent, with the middle portion. That's not really their fault. That's just the nature of the match.
Even though the Hardys/the Bar Ironman was a little boring in the early stages, it got quite good so I'll give it a YES.
I'll NO the Iron Man tag. It dragged for a good while after that first cool pin until the last third or so.
I'm a bit torn on Shesaro/Hardyz, because the great parts(there were some great parts in the middle too) were excellent, but there were some slow bits. I'd have to really think about where I'd rank it.
Definite YES to Strowman/Reigns and Lesnar/Joe. Those matches were great. Also a smaller YES to Neville/Tozawa.
Really, the whole PPV was pretty damn solid with great highlights.
I think it was on fire consistently through to WrestleMania. It's definitely slowed down some since then, but there have still been some highlights, even if they weren't all quite YES worthy. NXT has been filling in the blanks in the mean time, though.

Does the post-match ambulance smashing/Strowman walking away count as part of the match? 'Cuz if you count the whole thing from when they came out to when that stuff was done, I'd throw it a YES. The match alone would get a NO.

asuka/cross really wasn't that amazing. it had some nice spots, but was a fairly standard last man standing formula.
The post-march stuff was tedious dog shit and it went on forever. Also, Roman's a sore loser.
I might get heat for this but I think because the NXT last man standing match featured two women that people here grade it on a curve. Just a thought.
One of the best LMS matches I've ever seen was the Ambrose/Owens match from the Rumble.
I did not care for them trying to open the door for ten minutes. Also, yes, he is, that was kind of the whole point.
