Great first half. Not as great second. I think the away game will be tough. They have improved a bit over the last few years or at least they showed that in the 2nd half. In the first they could not live with the pressure and kept giving the ball away sloppily.
We were excellent first half. Genuinely bullied them and Jonny Evans was absolutely amazing. I honestly believe we have the best CB pairing out of all the home nations.
Stevie Davis was nothing short of amazing last night.
Absolutely runs the game these days and does so a lot further up the pitch. His assist was blinding.

He's done a fantastic job. Your mob and the good Ireland have done well with managers in recent years while none of ours seem to make a blind bit of difference. I'd have Walter Smith back in a heartbeat but other than that I don't have a clue. There certainly isn't another Scottish manager I'd like except maybe Moyes.
Just think now that Martin O'Neill has cut his teeth he might even get the gig with us in a few years.
