Good game. I really hate kicking in this game. And there's too many drops
nice to know this season is gonna be like every other. kendall wright goes 4 for 146 yds but allen robinson and hurns cant catch shit. i really want to know what im not understanding when playing this game.
Catching is tougher now. Players will drop easy passes and you need to select the right catch if you're in any sort of coverage (last year you could usually get away with any catch type the bulk of the times)
I'm aggressive catching 75% of the time just to keep the ball.
a lot of the time i was just going with a vanilla catch. two or three times towards the end of the game i throw it up to allen robinson in single coverage, back of the end zone, agg catch and he couldnt bring it in. not even catching it out of bounds, just straight up not catching it. it's annoying.
Yeah I am having loads of drops and some fumble issues as well.
We've four weeks to play with sliders etc
I need to find a good playbook to use. I have a couple in mind but will need to check them out/get used to them.

Missing them. I've always struggled with aiming the big line on all versions I've had of this game, it goes nuts at the slightest movement. I hit the post a second ago and was pleased with my improvement.
I've been struggling massively with kicking as well - not sure if it's the lag or I'm just awful now
Hurley can attest that I've got the same problem. I missed at least 2 field goals in our match.
I have missed multiple extra points as well, it's definitely tougher
Yeah I have missed a PAT and had an FG blocked. However I have also hit some from good distance which I never did in the older versions.
Sliders can be altered for them thankfully.

believe beefy said first week of october. they tend to release a big patch right before the regular season starts.
I said weekend of 1st October but that isn't set in stone. That date was designed to give everyone a break after the last league and also allow time for patches. I'm open to starting preseason sooner if there's a demand.
I'm not back till 24th and i haven't bought a bloody ps4 yet.

other than grim not being around or owning a ps4, i see no reason not to start getting through the preseason.
I thought we wanted to wait until people had some good sliders out there and make sure there aren't any franchise bugs like last year where development was too slow for us.

It's a 17 week schedule so does that mean you play the other 3 teams in your division twice?
Yes that's right.
You play 16 games (plus one bye week). Six games against the rest of your division then four games against the teams in one other Division in your Conference, four games against the teams in one Division in the other Conference and then the final two games against the other two teams in your Conference who finished in the same place in their Divisions as you did in yours.

What are the timings like? Do we have to play games by a certain time etc?
It's quite relaxed. We try and move at a nice pace, at our best a game every couple of days but we often wait a week for user games.
You'll find people like to play at certain times. I like to play at 6. Torn likes 7:45. MMH plays late.
I'd say aim for four days and we advance the clock after seven
I think I should pick a different division. I'll try some teams out tomorrow night.
Are we not picking the worst teams? And where are you getting your ratings Beefy? Titans are 79 I believe for me.
That's what someone else pulled a few pages back. I assume off of the release date ratings. They will have been tweaked since then but it's a ballpark figure.
Are we using updated rosters? If so, the ratings have changed slightly
