I think he may mean the my career mode.
I've had the game since Christmas and I still haven't won a game
It's just standalone matches. They do have video packages though. Savage vs. Roberts from Tuesday in Texas, Harlem Heat vs. Outsiders from Halloween Havoc 1996, Bushwackers vs. Natural Disasters from Summerslam, Paige vs. Alunda Blayze, Rock vs. Rikishi from Survivor Series 2000, and Larry Zybyszko and Arn Anderson vs. Ricky Steamboat and Dustin Rhodes from a Clash of the Champions.
It wasn't terrible but it wasn't amazing. Most of the matches weren't really that interesting. I got it as part of the Season Pass, so I didn't have to pay extra for it.

Enjoying this game quite a bit. Currently #1 contender for the NXT championship, but I'm kinda tired of facing Tyler Breeze. I'm looking forward to moving up to the main roster.
My Career mode gets repetitive pretty quickly.

I don't know why, but watching Undertaker walk to the ring with a horse's head on gave me absolute pleasure.
So basically My Career Mode is about as real as the current product.
