The *Official* did anything good happen on WWE TV thread?
No spoilers please.
Some of us don't have time or can't be bothered to even fast forward through five hours of stale WWE TV. Occasionally however there are some nuggets of gold amongst the labourious promos and six man tags.
In this thread if you watch Raw please post anything that stood out as being good;
Was there an epic confrontation?
Was there a good wrestling match?
Did someone get utterly merked in a promo?
Was there a shocking return?
If anything good happens please post about it here for us (ever more) casual viewers and we can check it out.

I'd prefer spoilers to be tagged. The idea is that some helpful person types something like:
Great Trips Promo
The bit where he called Dolph a knob jockey make me lol
- Stephanie emasculated John Cena, and then Axelmania showed up
- Jon Stewart and Seth Rollins had a memorable encounter
- The Intercontinental Ladder Match at WrestleMania is guaranteed to be good
- Heyman made the microphone his bitch
I'm still trying to find out what the hell he was doing here. I assumed he was mocking Rollins before I watched the episode. The way it was shot in the show, though, it looked like he legitimately had some kind of spasm while the camera just so happened to be on him.
Anything of note this week? DID BRAY WYATT CUT A PROMO FROM A GRAVEYARD? DID THE UNDERTAKER DO FLICKERY LIGHT TRICKS WITH THE ARENA ELECTRICAL SYSTEM? DID ROMAN REIGNS SAY HE'S GOING TO BE THE ONE IN 1-0 IN ONE ON ONE COMPETITION AGAINST THE ONE IN 21-1? DID ANDY COMPLAIN LIKE A LITTLE BITCH ABOUT DANIEL BRYAN'S PLACEMENT ON THE WM CARD?
Is it worth watching this week? I'll catch up on the last five minutes. This is the first time in about four years that I won't watch the entire show and I really don't have much desire to see any of it, unless it's improved drastically since the last few weeks.

The John Cena/Rusev segment was fun. Other than that you missed absolutely nothing of importance (besides the last 3-4 mins).
You wouldn't know Wrestlemania is coming if it weren't for the last 3 minutes of the show.
Cliff notes:
-Seth Rollins opened the show with a very generic Authority; "Randy Orton I will beat you up" interview.
-The IC Ladder Match storyline continues to be silly and not relevant.
-Roman Reigns made a new catchphrase official: "I can, I will, I believe"...It is the new John Cena "Hustle, Loyalty, Respect".
-Brock Lesnar had a pre-recorded interview segment in which he said "I am going to fuck Roman Reigns up", with the f word being bleeped out.
-The Miz gave Mizdow his finisher after The Miz lost another match. Unfortunately it was extremely undramatic.
Anything else has already been erased from my memory.
Isn't "I can, I will, I believe" exactly the sort of thing Bo Dallas would say while everyone laughs at him? And now we're meant to take Reigns seriously when he says it?
EDIT: Come to think of it, are we actually supposed to be inspired by a guy who looks like an Adonis summoning the self-confidence and gumption to think he can win a wrestling match?

I can, I will, I believe doesn't even make any sense. Less sense that Hustle, Loyalty, Respect.
I know there's a lot of hyperbole flying around about Mania at the moment. I don't think it will be a bad show - the matches should be decent. But holy fuck, has the build ever been worse in the modern era? Sting/Trips seems like the only thing that has any steam whatsoever. The crowds are just apathetic to absolutely everything else. Bryan's heat is way down, Mizdow's heat seems to have died since they've waited too long to pull the trigger, nobody cares what Wyatt says, the IC title situation is mildly entertaining but again no one seems into it, Reigns is the least over Mania main eventer ever, The Usos don't seem to be over anymore.
I mean, fuuuuck. When you look at how good Mania was last year and where they could have gone this year, it's just crazy the lack of hype and build they've managed. Nothing should surprise me anymore though.
Yeah... Roman's t-shirt was pretty Cena-ish. Just a very blunt, inspirational thing that comes off as corny. Roman shouldn't HAVE to come out w/ a shirt that says I CAN, I WILL. It's lame. If WWE had any sort of balls, they would have had Roman come out and spear Paul.
I agree w/ the heat sentiments too. The hype w/ everything has died down except for maybe the Sting stuff, and it's a clear that whoever has the final say about what happens on the show (Vince) is doing a piss poor job. 2014-2015 was supposed to be the beginning of a new era, but now we're watching a dull show that's capable of much better.
WWE got their wish and seriously destroyed heat for anything they have been building up the last few months.
- Stardust/Goldust outcome is officially meaningless.
- Miz/Mizdow finally break up (or at the least finally get really physical) and it was undramatic.
- Daniel Bryan is being called a "turd" and has officially been delegated to a 10 minute fan favorite mid-card role where fans will eventually (although slowly) start to cheer him less. Did he even get an entrance last night?
- Your unproven badass main eventer at WM is now using Bo Dallas quotes.
- Seth Rollins/Authority and Bray Wyatt promos are becoming repetitive.
The best feud going at the moment is John Cena/Rusev.

I read Bill Simmons did commentary, how was it? Did he throw any pipe bombs? Is he going to fight JBL at Mania because he told John he can't read? Or did they hug it out?
In no way did he embarrass himself. I don't have any strong opinions on the guy because I know fuck-all about sports, but he was knowledgeable and affable. Isn't Deadspin owned by Gawker? Fuck 'em.
Simmons sat with the commentary team, but did not do commentary on the action in the ring. He essentially just told them how big of a fan he was. It wasn't bad, and if you like NBA, you know who Bill Simmons is and either love him or hate him. He did fine.
Note-worthy things from this Raw:
- Sting/HHH interaction was fun.
- Snoop/Hogan stuff was okay.
- Rusev/Cena stuff was okay.
- Bryan/Ziggler match was decent, didn't like Bryan losing clean though.
- Lesnar/Reigns closing RAW might be the worst go-home segment leading to Wrestlemania in WWE history. It completely shadowed Heyman's previous promo which was great. There was essentially no point in Roman Reigns coming out.
As Bill Casey mentioned, Cena vs. Stardust was also worth watching. Cena's basically turned the US title into a TV title and it's been pretty damn good so far.
Oh, and Lucha Dragons vs. New Day...
New Day are starting a borderline heel gimmick where they smile and clap, but they are seething underneath...
And The Lucha Dragons are just plain fun to watch here...

- Cena vs. Stardust
And you will have a good RAW...

I pretty much stopped watching WWE (sans NXT) after Cena pinned Owens, but I had to check out Cesaro vs. Cena and it's well worth a watch. Awesome match. Kind of shows what Cesaro could/should be.
