I'm putting some serious consideration into running a Game of Thrones game. It's not definite but I'm tinkering with the roles.
It's not a proper Game of Thrones unless everyone is killed by the end.
Just dont accidently give away someone's role during the game like I did
Game of Thrones 1 was trippy. First time I've seen neutrals actively help town.

I think that game was a case study in maybe don't target neutrals. Remember they aren't really on your team but unless they are an SK maybe you leave them alone.

We would need a lot of motherfuckers for that. (25 to 30) However, strike while the iron is hot and with all the participation in the GOT thread we might be able to get it.
I had a list of people for that, cos I "planned" at least 4 of them.
It had 31 roles. And that was me scaled back. There was Town + like 4 other factions/varying degree of neutrals.. and that doesn't even look at Dorne, Tyrells, Littlefinger etc - that was all from like Season 1/2 or something.
So as Dr Who winds down I'm thinking of putting the sign ups for Venari up after it wraps then leaving them for a week or so to see how many we hit, game I have planned has no upper or lower limit so I'm happy to let them run for s while.

I think the GoT one should be our big summer event, wait for the upsurge in interest as the season ends, the only worry I'd have is due to the sheer size we risk losing our active players early, not 100% sure how that could be avoided without stumps (and if that's s good thing)

Yeah, Who IV is in the books. Between missing roles and my personal life falling apart it ended up being less fun than it should have been, but we did it. My next game will probably be something new, but I haven't given it a ton of thought yet.

It might but i don't really see how. The games are intended to move reasonably quickly and if you need to subscribe to a thread to remind you that the game tout signed up for in the morning starts its night phase in 24 hours, you're probably Skillshot or doct1400.

Problem is with Venari they tend to be tight balance issues, and often a couple of key roles.
It seems like every game I end up chasing one, couple of times I've had people in them drop out and been lucky to slot someone in. Just don't have it in me this time to fight the malaise.

I'm still working on my GoT game. I have a staycation the week of Oct 3-7 so if I can finish it in time, I'd like to start it about a week from now to align with my week off. So everyone should hold off on starting a new game for the next week. If I can't make it happen in time, I'll let you guys know (and will still do it at a later date).

As much sass as I have given you about power rangers over the years i would be in. Sometimes these mafia concepts get you into something you didnt like/didn't know about it before.
