Starting my trek down Memory Lane this morning for TNA and I remembered this one minor thing that "bugged" me... This goes back to somewhere around 2005-2007 in the early Spike days (around the time that some fan held up the "Dumbledore dies" sign after that Harry Potter book came out). The fact that this is one of my lasting memories of the company does not bode well for the company as a whole, but here goes my random nostalgia rant:
Does anyone remember on some obscure stretch of tapings from back in this time period where there was this one Sandman look-a-like fan who was dead center on the hard camera side and he was there for a month or two worth of episodes and he stood the entire fucking night with his arms stretched out like he was Raven or something? I have no idea why it has stuck in my mind for so long, but I remember through all of those episodes seeing this dude, with some random fat guy and chick around him and he just stood there the entire time. It was NOT, in fact Sandman, it seemed like it was just some central FL bro, but it cracked me up and was a lot like Sting guy in the front row of Raw last year. Stoic, emotionless and random as fuck.
Okay, everyone back to your days.
"Mr. Duett, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."
