Is he wearing a grill? The Joker, a soldier in the No Limit Army.
The "grill" in his mouth really leads one to think he is following trends and not leading... or has a nice dental plan. The "HAHAHAHA" tat looks like something you'd see at Hot Topic. The worst part of the look is that it isn't designed for either of us. It's designed for a 10-22 age range who will lap this shit up with a spoon (that was also sold to them).
It doesn't have a sense of timelessness.
I like it a lot. Hard to follow ledger and everyone shit on his first pictures too. I actually really like the grin tattoo the others I'm kinda meh on but joker with tattoos is a new take.

Joker with tats is way too "on trend". It seems odd and out of place. He looks more teenage angst and less timeless criminal mastermind.

All of the Batman animated films have been awful since the introduction of Damian Wayne.
II used to be all about the DC Animated films, but I'm struggling to think of one I've seen since Dark Knight Returns. Flash, maybe, but I can't recall if that was before or after DKR.

I think I prefer the other suits since most of them at least made the cowl and suit look good. I get the DKR vibe, but it looks like some weird cheap cosplay. Like the kid spent a lot on the cowl, but cheaped out on the rest.

I seriously dislike most everything out of DC since about ten seconds after The Dark Knight Rises ended.
I hate being nitpicky on costumes, but just don't see it. There's not a common style between them. That may sound odd, but I can't see how they all will mix well together. The Superman and Batman costumes don't really mesh at all in what I've seen. That could be cool on screen if done right, but nothing I've seen from Snyder says that he's the guy for that. He's wanted to make DKR for so long that he's going straight there with Batman even though that Batman is very different from the one in the Justice League (where it's all heading.)
Honestly, I want Routh back at this point. Routh and Bale could have been a lot of fun together.
Harley looks like the hot girl who wants to dress up as Harley for Halloween but has no costume and just throws stuff on last minute. And uses a lot of baby powder instead of makeup. She has some hair color spray, but not the right colors but who'll notice? And has really cool boots.

Yeah all those costumes look terrible. Generic (despite the lack of cohesion) and weirdly poor quality.
If you were to see that outfit at a Comic Con, there's no way you would deduce it was Harley Quinn. Disappointing.
I'm honestly really disillusioned by DC right now. Absolutely LOVE Batman and Superman, have wanted a team up for as long as I can remember but have no interest with the way they seem to be going. It's really sad.

It's a weird choice to wash the color out. Comic books are about larger than life, colorful heroes. For Batman I understand a grim color palette, but when you're dealing with the rest of the crew, it's a lighter, more colorful crowd.
Marvel's movies have the right tone. Serious, but not super grim. Daredevil is ridiculously dark, but that makes sense since he's the Batman of Marvel. Batman should be dark as shit, but not everyone needs to be Batman.
And Superman, especially, should not be Batman.

It's hard to judge something based on 6 minutes of footage. Most pilots aren't what the show ends up being since they are shot months before the rest of the show/season. I'll judge after a few episodes. I do like that they aren't afraid to reference or even slightly show Superman. Plus the main girl has some incredible photos online.

Fury was drawn that way, because the creators were big Samuel L. Jackson fans and it was a way to show Ultimates was the anything goes Universe. There is no black Jimmy Olson nor is there a female Olson like there was in Man of Steel. I don't mind changing races as long as they don't change the core of the character. If they wanted to give some ethnicity to the show, the guy chasing her could have been black or Asian or Indian. Yet, I get the feeling a mixed super hero couple scares the hell out of them more than just changing racial make-up.
I like that they lampshade the 'girl' part of Supergirl by just declaring girl and woman to be interchangeable. Because that wasn't the problem in the first place...
Looks like typical CW fare I suppose, peddling fantasies to teenage girls about how great their adventures would be if they just happened to be an alien or the daughter of a billionaire...
or a vampire or a zombie or anything or than a normal girl. Arrow this season sucked and Flash has been hit or miss season mainly due to the Irsis West character being awful. So, any hopes of CW hero shows being good is questionable.
I did like Gossip Girl, I must admit, but they had good characters to work with, and they weren't trying to be superheroes or supernatural.
